The beef and chicken here is halal and that's the greatest. The restaurant was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the food was delicious. I tried my son's orange chicken and it was the best Ive ever had. The chicken was slightly crispy and soft and moist in the middle. So good. My wife had a chicken with rice plate and I tried crab fried rice for the first time. The soup was very good and the egg rolls were perfect. My finicky son loved them.

Everything was delicious. The portions were a good size so we couldn't finish our food. The Thai tea was a first for me and it was a beautiful color and tasted great.

The only reason we didn't take a to - go box was because we were traveling a lot that day and the food would be sitting in the car for a while. I sensed a slight disappointment from the servers because we didn't want a to-go box. 😅. Great place. When back in Houston we plan to visit again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always good, fresh, and comes out fast. The servers are always friendly and attentive. This place is just consistently excellent; they ace everything. We've tried many dishes on the menu (it is extensive) and everything we've tried tastes great.

I go here every few weeks. The food is consistently good and when we eat in, it's nice to see they made an effort on the decor and interior design.

The is is our favorite that restaurant in Houston!! The food is amazing and service is great! The workers always have a smile on their face and treat us like family.

This is our go to place for a celebratory lunch. The fried tilapia is always delicious and beautifully presented. The yellow curry with vegetables is delicious as well as the chicken or tofu pad thai. The beef basil fried rice is so good!! Beware of the spiciness, it's 🔥🔥🔥.

The service is always great and it's relatively quick. We're also big fans of calling ahead for take out.

We love that their tables have white butcher paper and crayons for little ones to get creative and be entertained.

I have always enjoyed coming to Anothai. Its one of the best thai cuisines in town and I feel that for the service and price of the food, you can not get a better deal. I have been coming here for years as this is close to my workplace. The waiting staff has been very courteous everytime. We come here for alot of our business meetings!

I would have given this place 3 stars but then I realized I also have no plastic wear for my soup haha… they have good tom kha gai but with this order is seems as though my pad thai has been sitting. The individual on the phone was okay, however I asked for light ice in my Thai tea because I hate watered down drinks, when I was given my beverage it had light ice but was 3 quarters full…I asked why it wasn’t filled more and the worker said it’s 12 ounces. I could have took a moment to give feedback or even give pushback…I just realized it will be better to not spend my money at a place who charges almost $4 for a drink that’s not even full and does not include refills. Be kinder !

Food is a bit bland for Thai. Very expensive. Soup, tea, and main dish for two was over $65! With tip at lunch-time. They show you an electronic total, so you cannot see individual charges until after you pay. The terminal pushes you to include an 18% or more tip, which I did not like. I tipped 15%

We used to come to their other location, but this spot has decreased their quality of food significantly. The curries taste medicinal, the food has no flavor, and the service is also poor. The prices are also sky high for such a poor experience.
We will not be returning to this place.

The food quality got worse to be honest, the chicken in their stir fry has become much smaller, it's more breading than the chicken.
Unfortunately that is the situation, love this spot, will give one more chance

Food seemed like it was made over a month ago… Chicken was slimy, curry was watery, and the veggies were soggy. I couldn’t tell the difference between any dish I ordered here, they both had the same disgusting taste - old, watery broth and old meat boiled together and presented as food. I’m surprised I didn’t get sick from eating from this restaurant. Luckily I only had 2 bites before ditching it. Avoid this place at all costs! This restaurant should not exist.

I'm Thai - the larb seasoning was okay, but the curry was insanely thin? Super watery, super thin, and the lettuce for the larb seemed to have gone bad. The prices aren't unreasonable, but I've had much better versions of all the food I ate here for less in this city - paid about 45 for 2 entrees and a salad after tip and tax.

I don't really know why this place has such great reviews, maybe there aren't a lot of other options nearby? Our meal was pretty mediocre on the whole, and it's not hard to find good Thai food in Houston. It's worth noting their online site doesn't work either for tracking your food, it left our order as "unconfirmed" and I had to call to find out our food was already done and going cold at the restaurant.

The orange chicken was phenomenal as it was triggering the taste buds on different levels, overall a good find for people looking to have quality halal food.

This is a great thai restaurant near my home. I typically cook Thai food at home, but when I get lazy, I give Anothai a call. My favorite dishes here are: the spicy catfish, red chicken curry, yellow chicken curry, pad Thai(shrimp or chicken), & shrimp tom yum soup. I typically order everything at a spice level 4 because I love spicy food. But if you want to get adventurous, you can kick it to the "Thai spicy" level. That level probably comes with a warning. I like to enjoy spicy food, but if the spice level starts to hurt, (you spice lovers know what I'm talking about) you really can't enjoy the food. The service and the food here are great!

Food is delicious! never disappoints. Place is always clean. Kids love it because they get to draw on the paper that is used as a table cloth.

We were visiting from out of town and really excited to try this Halal Thai but the person who took our order was more focused on the time and clearing the restaurant out the last hour instead of making the experience at the restaurant nice for us.

I was disappointed and won't be coming back. They say they are open until 10:00 p.m. but really don't expect to sit down from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. because when we went on a Saturday night no one was there but us.

I would recommend the restaurant change their time that is listed as open for business and work on trying to make their experience enjoyable for the customer.

Got the Pad Prik King with tofu and yellow curry with chicken. Both VERY good. Pad Prik King is a dicey dish to order. Many places just can't get it right. Here it was perfect, both the flavor of the seasoning and the cook of the tofu. Prices are very reasonable and portions generous. The quality of the chicken meat was above average. Order was ready quickly. This is my new favorite Thai place!

Delicious authentic Thai food!! Ordered chicken green curry, beef masaman curry, and anothai fried rice. All delicious and good portion size! And the best part it’s mostly halal.

it seems as if going to any place trying to order orange chicken is a fail. the chicken is always freezer burnt or doesn’t taste of chicken at all. THIS PLACE has extremely fresh chicken and everything is always made to order. i never eat jasmine rice but this place has me leaving my plate clean. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Have ordered takeout from here a couple times now with multiple different menu items and the food quality has really gone down. I would describe the majority of the dishes uninspiring. Had to really rely on the chili sauce to add some flavor. Would be reluctant on ordering again.

Great customer service! Tea is sweet and tasty as well as the Pad Thai with tamarind sauce. The sweet n sour chicken is tomatoe based, therefore not sweet. It is a good natural option. I would rate the place 4.5.

The food was just terrible trust me, I am saving you. There was only one waitress and no people, this should have been a red flag. We ordered the pad Thai and it was disgusting, too sweet and smelled horrible. No wonder people don’t go there save your money and taste bud.

Very disappointed in the customer service. Usually the food is pretty good (not amazing) so I used to come here anytime I wanted some Thai food, but last time I went they messed up my to go order and made it so spicy it was inedible. They required me to bring the messed up order all the way back for me to get a replacement (as if they didn't trust that they screwed it up) and then when I got there they were rude about it and didn't offer to do anything for causing us such a major inconvenience. I'll have to find a different place, I don't want to support their business anymore.

I've been there twice for lunch and about to pick up to-go for dinner. It's so crazy good. The Yellow Curry and Pad Thai are *chef's kiss* and the spice level is just right (if you order it just right). Service is quick and friendly!

This is now our favorite Thai restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. My friends all had large, delicious bowls of curry. I had a stir fry which was very fresh and delicious. The fried spring rolls were nice and crunchy.

Meat can be better seasoned. Pineapple in fried rice the same size as canned.

Firstly, we ordered several items from combination fried rice, orange chicken, peanut sauce chicken to wings and dumplings. We opted to get everything spicy and it all packed a punch - in the best way!
Secondly, the girl behind the counter was very kind, engaging and fast in her service. I give her a 10/10!
Third, we ate it all and wished we got more!

Recently ordered Pad see eue, red curry, and pineapple fried rice for my family. We all loved it, the pineapple fried rice being the first to be finished by everyone. The curry and the pad see eue was also delicious. The cashier was also very respectful. Highly recommend.

I love their green curry! It's always piping hot and served with plenty of rice. I should probably try something different on the menu but when I find something I love I tend to always go back for more. 🙂

Service was good, however the food came out a little slow for our 1 hour lunch break, but it was worth the wait. We ordered the combination plate from the starters menu. Everything was good except the Thai dumplings. The flavor was just meh. I ordered the red curry, spicy, with chicken and it was great. The only thing I would change would be the size of the chicken pieces. I would have liked them to be cut smaller. Same with the bamboo. I didn't like the rice, however I am very picky when it comes to rice. I will be back again. I must note that they need to replace some of the ceiling tiles as they are dirty.

Was planning to come have a dine in since our friend recommended this place, checked the time to make sure they are open. We came in around 8:30 since we just got off work, restaurant closes @9:30. Came in and nobody was in the front so we just standing there wait for a few minutes and my friend came closer to the kitchen and said hello. Finally a lady came out, first thing she asked if we here for a pick up which we were still happy saying oh no we have 2 ppl for dine in please. Even tho she wore a mask i could see her facial expressions changed and eyerolled at the clock which was 8:35 at the time. Taking us to the table not happy at all, didnt say a word just put down the menu and gone. Be nice and talking all happy with ppl came in picking up food, and a table next to us ready to check out. Look, if u are not happy we coming in 1 hr before closing just kindly say u only get togo order rn, which we did right after because i didnt want someone not happy and had attitude to serve anyway. Everything would be better if u can just be nice and we will appreciate that.

This is a nice and clean restaurant. I am not used to Asian food and I didn't like it so much. I wouldn't recommend their beef skewers. It was really dry.

I ordered the drunken noodles. It had over a 1/4 of an inch of oil in the bottom of the to go container. I went back to get a refund. They told me I would need to wait 3 to 7 days and the manager would call me about a refund. Unacceptable.

She walked away to get the drink also crankily told me that they only have Thai coffee over here.

This week, I come back to order food take out again. When I walked in, she was talking to another customer. She even didnt say hi to me. She continued talking to the lady in few more mins. Then, she walked inside the kitchen to bring her food. Then she asked me what is my name. After giving me food, she even not say thank you or have a good one. Well, I wonder if she is owner there because I only see her there all the time. However, I dont think she is based on her attitude toward the customers. The restaurant is always empty. I dont see dine-in customers. If food and service is good, I definitely want to support the business.

I will go back my regular Thai restaurant also close to my house. I don't recommend Anothai Cuisine!

Great Pad Thai.

I am so happy I ordered from Anothai. I ordered spicy basil fried rice with seafood medley, crab angels, fried spring rolls, and Tom Yum soup. Everything is so good that I took a photo and immediately thought I needed to review it. I am pleasantly surprised by how much seafood is in my fried rice. Large shrimp, muscles, bay scallops, and fish. Very tasty. The crab angels are very crispy and stuffed full. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I came here for lunch during work, the place was empty but the environment was nice, extremely neat and organized. The staff was very nice to me! I had the Tom yum soup, yellow curry, and iced Thai coffee. I was uttery destroyed by how much food came out, normally proportion sizes are small. I was ransacked by how full I was almost fell asleep at the table, the curry was delicious, the Tom yum was amazing, normally I heavy dislike mushrooms, but their Tom yum soup I could barely taste it! Their coffee wasn't the best or richest, but no means bad. It was a perfect accent to the meal. The staffed checked on me a few times, no doubt thinking I had a allergic reaction when I was falling asleep at the table. I do reccomened trying at least once! Also their water is lit, it doesn't have a lemon in it, instead contains lime.
