I would love a little extra herbs in there and the peanut sauce is a delight. The Khao Soi was impeccable and gigantic. The spice level was perfect for me and I would say it falls between mild-medium. I couldn't believe how much chicken was in it. The broth was light, flavorful, and tasted like absolute comfort food.

Came back a few weeks later to try the fried rice and more shrimp rolls. It was a very busy and packed lunch time. They were working so hard and we had a little flub with my order but they fixed it quickly and were very kind. The fried rice was also delicious. I ordered a level one spice on this and it was more kick than the Khao Soi. Probably more in the medium-hot range for me.

It was so delicious & there was so much food! There wasn’t a wait but we came at 4pm. The service is good he came back & checked on us several times & was very kind & genuine.

Sabeye has consistently delivered delicious meals every time I’ve ordered from them! The Pad See Ew is absolutely amazing—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

The one time I dined indoors, it was quiet and cozy, but I usually prefer to order takeout. Their takeout service is always efficient, and the food is just as fresh and flavorful at home.

I went to this spot today after hitting the gym across the parking lot. In all honesty, I was like strip mall Thai food, I’m skeptical. But within a minute of walking in and reading the menu, I knew I’d be coming back. The server was super friendly and amazing. Then I read the menu, dude! I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants, and I was surprised to see a bunch of dishes I have not seen at other spots. Since I had just come back from the gym I ordered a salad, I don’t remember the name of the dish, but it was a fried tuna dish that was off the hook good. I highly recommend this spot, and am really looking forward to my next visit.

Been here twice and both times the food and service was excellent. The guy that’s on the floor and taking orders is awesome. He always keeps your glass filled with ice water and checks on you multiple times throughout the meal. Mind you this was with a pretty full restaurant as well. We’ll definitely be back! When we first moved here we were on the hunt for new places to get some great food. We stumbled upon Sabye and it has become our go-to ever since. The Crab Fried Rice has been a staple and what I go for whenever I'm craving comfort. I haven't met a noodle dish at Sabye I didn't enjoy, and the mango sticky rice is perfection. The owners are incredibly kind, hospitable, and have remembered us, which is a surprise considering the foot traffic this gem if a restaurant gets. Writing this has made me hungry again...

In a middle class suburban hellscape full of mediocre chain food this place is an oasis. It’s fresh, flavorful, bright, and well balanced without the heavy sauces I’ve come to expect from strip mall Thai restaurants. This is the only place in Sherwood I will be eating from now on.

Yum! Have been missing Thai food after moving back from Southeast Asia, and this hit the spot. Khao Soi was the perfect mix of comfort & spice on a rainy day. The Thai Issan Sausage was bursting with flavor. The Yum Khao Todd had so many textures, it was a delight to eat. This place is fantastic, can’t wait to eat my way through the whole menu!

Ok, I do not usually write google reviews but we loved Sabye so much, I just had to! This will be our new go to place for Thai food. First of all, the service was EXCELLENT. The staff members were so so friendly and kind, and made us feel very welcome. Secondly, the food came out super fast. Which brings me to the food... everything was delicious and so fresh. My husband said it was his favorite pad Thai yet, and I had the fall curry which was amazing. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

After a recent winter ice storm during a visit to friends living in Old Town, my spouse and I decided to go for a walk to find some tasty food.

This place was wonderful! The server (owner perhaps?) was very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided prompt but non-intrusive service, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any unnecessary interruptions.

The food was absolutely fantastic - beautifully displayed as well as tasty! Sadly, we ordered off the specials menu, and I don't remember the names of what we had. This is a place we'll be back to next time we're in town.

When I tell you this was the best Thai food it really is. Me and my husband had pineapple fried rice, egg rolls, and the coconut ice cream with fried bananas. The food was a 10/10 honestly so delicious. I had ordered my fried rice medium spice and it had such amazing flavor but was a bit too spicy for me. The staff were so sweet to me and made a less spicy one for me. We will be coming back again. I also feel like it was cheaper than other places I’ve been to.

My family and I did takeout for dinner. We’ve never been here before but have been curious about it for a while. It was absolutely delicious! My parents and cousin’s wife and cousin’s daughter ordered vegetarian versions of the Pad Kee Mow, Street Fried Rice, Spicy Spaghetti Noodles, the Fall Curry, and Red Curry. They were all so good! Everyone was a fan of the red curry especially because of the warmth from the spice. My cousin and I ordered chicken versions of the Basil Fried Rice and the Spicy Green Bean. Absolutely incredible! We ordered at level 4 spicy and they were spicy. Not over the top, just right. I will absolutely be back to eat at the restaurant and will totally do take out again! And everyone was really kind at the restaurant, and so accommodating to vegetarian diets. Thank you to the folks at Sabye! I’ll definitely be back!

Our dinner tonight was SO good that I'm giving a review to say PLEASE do yourself a favor & visit this restaurant. We stopped several times throughout our takeout meal to literally say, "Mmm, mmm, mmm!"

This spot has been a reliable favorite for a couple of years now. It's in my top recommendations for dinner out with a friend or with visiting family. A few favorite dishes (although I'd like to try them all!) include the Sabye shrimp roll & mini dumplings for appetizers, Massaman curry & pad see ew for an entree, and sweet pancake for dessert.

Also: their website has a pretty smooth order for pickup system, so try that. Sometimes, I'll order a Thai iced tea & a shrimp roll during the work day just because it's so easy and I like this place so much. But you should definitely eat in, too - service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and relaxed. It's just an all-around great decision every time we get food here. Thanks for another delicious dinner, Sabye! 😊

Actually the best Thai place I’ve been too in a good while. Came in by myself, service was very friendly and quick. The menu was diverse and I settled on the tofu pad kee mao, and the waiter thoughtfully asked if egg was ok on it, in case I was a vegan which I found to be very considerate. At $13, it definitely gives a lot of other places a run for their money before the food even came out. They had it on my table in less than five minutes, and it was probably the best I’ve had. Thoroughly impressed and I’ll come back next time I find myself in Sherwood

We had tried many restaurants around Sherwood in the past 3 years. Sabye becomes the one we visit more and more often. We like the servicev tried many dished (the guys is funny and friendly) and the relaxed sitting. But the food is really what attracts us for going there at leat once a month. We have tried many dishes. All are good with interesting spices.

We will go again and try different dishes!

We ate the hot pot for two about a month ago and my husband's been talking about it ever since. It is a soup that you prepare at the table. We had to go back. Guess what we ate? We had the hot pot for two again. This time was even better. This time, we got more instructions and prepared it correctly. We've decided we may go every month. The service is terrific and two employees came over to help us and show terrific gratitude and appreciation that we were there. The place had many people there so the attention we received was even more impressive.

Yellow curry had a very nice heat spice that produced the right combination of sweat and heat to make you want more. We continue to go here as soon often as we can. Service is unmatched and there has not been a menu item we would only try once.

This was our second time dining here. We have visited many Thai restaurants in the Portland metro area. We were greeted with excellent customer service which carried throughout until the end. Their menu was very well thought out and easy to navigate. The food was delivered within what felt like minutes of ordering. Their Khao Soi was excellent deep and rich flavors. The same could be said for the rest of the dishes we ordered. Their prices were very reasonable for the area and portions. Even our toddler felt like a valuable guest. Excellent experience.

The owner is so kind, and has a lot of pride in the food. I have eaten here maybe 20 times in the last year and will probably go more than that this year. Explore the menu! All of the fried rice and curry dishes are excellent. The sticky rice and mango dish is a perfect dessert. Their Pad Khee Mao is also amazing.

I work nearby and have ordered from here multiple times, everything I have tried has been absolutely AMAZING!! But the experience we had tonight went way above and beyond. We took my 3.5 year old with us for dinner and she started to have a bit of a melt down about 10 minutes after we got there. The man who served us noticed immediately and went out of his way to interact with her and made her a special bubble tea. Within 10 minutes she was smiling and eating her dinner. He continued to interact with her and even brought her a little bowl of ice cream. He was so friendly and extremely attentive and as a mom, I cannot day enough how grateful I was to him for making our dining experience a fun one instead of the stress filled dumpster fire it was about to turn into.
So yeah, amazing food and beyond amazing service. Cannot recommend them enough!

The food is consistently good however, double check to make sure your order is correct. I had ordered a non spicy pad Thai for my son who is allergic to peppers- luckily I tasted it before giving it to him because it was extremely spicy and literally had peppers throughout the dish.

I order the kra-pao for take out along with the shrimp rolls and a Thai iced tea. Unfortunately I didn’t realize until I got home the kra-pao was missing the mushrooms that are listed on the menu and really the small amount of onions and peppers was pretty disappointing. It also had an egg on it which was definitely not listed on the menu (I’m allergic to eggs). Overall if the worker would have told me these things, I would have ordered something else. I called to see if maybe they just gave me the wrong order but he said they were just out of mushrooms. So the food and experience was disappointing for me. I may give it another try again one day but I know I love love love the Thai place down the street so I’ll stick to that for now. The service was quick and great, other than not mentioning they were out of mushrooms. And they made a vegan Thai iced tea which is less common so that was great!

Served cold egg rolls. Got the check, charged us for an order that wasn't ours then charged us for ours saying the first charge would be voided at some point.
TLDR: Cold food. Charged twice.

Had a wonderful dinner of Thai dishes. One of the few Thai restaurants in the Portland area to really hit a balance of flavors across the meal. I lived in Thailand for 2.5 years and these dishes bring back memories of time spend eating this amazing food everyday. The staff was super attentive and kind. I would recommend this place to everyone! We left “em liao” and “sabye” (full and happy)

The food was absolutely incredible. The staff was friendly and caring, while being careful to understand each person individual needs.

The food! Pictures will show how large the bbq pork skewers were, as well as chunks of pork in the fried rice, and yellow curry soup. All must haves.

Second time here and the food is excellent again. We went in at 8:25 - they close at 8:30 - and they still made dinner for us to go. Thank you all for accomodating us. Husband tried the crispy duck and loved it. Fresh and delicious food. Chicken pad thai was yummy. Try it, you'll be happy!

My husband and I absolutely adore Sabye, and we have been going here for a couple years. Their food is amazing and the price is always reasonable. The staff is also very friendly, and they always recognize my husband because he works next door :) overall, a great place with the best Thai in the area.

Honestly one of the best Thai food places I have ever been to. Food was amazing. Service was great. From start to finish the whole meal was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a Thai restaurant or a restaurant in general. Would highly recommend this place.

I ordered Tom Yum soup, their menu said nothing about tomato, but that is exactly what I got. I am very disappointed, I was looking forward to some good Thai soup but no.

Support local businesses! This wonderful Thai restaurant is in a convenient spot, the food is amazing, and I always look forward to picking up my food because the people are super friendly. I usually get the Pad See Ew with chicken, but their mini dumplings and curries are great, too.

Tried the Red Curry, Pad Ke Mao and Basil Fried Rice. Eeverything was delicious! Serving sizes were decent, could have been a little bigger. Service was excellent.
