If you're a lover of exotic flavors and tantalizing spices, then you must pay a visit to Chef Janet & her husband Peter a Thai restaurant in Goldsboro. With a remarkable 15-year legacy, she is not only the owner but also the culinary genius behind the delectable Thai dishes that have won the hearts and taste buds of countless food enthusiasts. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable dining experience as you embark on a culinary journey through the authentic flavors of Thailand visit Thai Garden.
Gosh what a delightful lunch that my daughter and I had at this Thai restaurant that is on Center Street in down town Goldsboro, NC. When we entered we felt like we were in Thailand with the extensive number of Thai decorations. Then we were met by a very friendly man who went out of his way to make us comfortable. We ordered the spring rolls, Pad Thai noodles, beef salad, and Thai tea. We were surprised how authentic and delicious it was. We had lived in Guam and we never expected to find Thai dishes in NC to compare to Guam’s, but this cook is the real deal. She even grows much of her own herbs and vegetable that she incorporates into her plates. While we were there she ran to her garden and brought me a sprig of fresh basil for my salad. This is my new favorite restaurant in Goldsboro. So, if you want a Thai dish, hands down this is the place to go.
The Dunkin Noodles are an excellent choice.
We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant that I found through Google Maps. The decor both inside and outside of the restaurant transported me straight to Thailand, with unique decorations and vibrant colors that really set the scene. The owner is a Thai-Chinese, she is so sweet and enthusiastic!
The food we tried was homemade and authentic, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The fried fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the drunken noodles had just the right amount of spice to give them a kick. The fried rice and Pad Thai were also standouts, with unique flavor combinations that were both delicious and satisfying.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. While everything we tried was amazing. We will definitely be back next time!
The place was perfect. So small but very family oriented. Everything was home cooked from scratch and it couldn't have been better. The lady who was cooking was just amazing. She gave me a hug and told me come back Thursday to try what I really wanted. Just amazing. No other way to put it. And we ordered more then enough for 2. Best authentic food I've ever had!!!
I had been sitting on a swing next to this restaurant when the owner and chef, Janet, was opening it up. We sparked a conversation and the next thing that I knew, we formed a friendship that included a tour of her garden and a tour of the restaurant. My husband and I returned two days later to have dinner there. I had the Pad Thai which I am a big fan of…but it tastes different from restaurant to restaurant…some better than others. Janet’s Pad Thai was awesome! It was very delicious and I would highly recommend going there for a scrumptious dinner. The prices were fair as well. The atmosphere is filled with the heart and soul of this very talented chef, Janet. Please take time to visit if you are in town. You will make a new, sweet friend if you do.
First time eating here and I should have picked another day to visit because they were overwhelmed with the "Light Up Goldsboro" crowd and a lot of people walked out because of slow service or the lack there of. The gentleman that waited on us was the owner and was running the cash register and his wife was cooking and serving the food. Bless their heart they really tried to please everyone but it's hard with just two employees. I wasn't sure what to order but I have heard that there are no bad choices and I agree. Both of the dishes that me and my wife ordered were really good but I wish I would have gotten the Thai Hot version because I like spicy foods. My wife was unable to finish her plate so the man wrapped hers up to go and she had enough for lunch the next day. We will definitely go back but not on a Tuesday because he politely told us we are NEVER open on Tuesday because it's a day of rest for them. Just a lovely couple with a passion for Thai food and service that I know will be better next time!
Stop by on the way back and it is the best decision ever! This is the hidden gem! The place looks very sentimental. The food was very authentic. I’m Thai and I would say their Padthai tastes exactly like Thai street food! The owner is very nice and funny. The wife is the chef and she makes her own sauce and prepares her ingredients like she does at her home! 10/10 recommended and will be back again for more.
#1 I'm a foodie. #2 I'm Thai. Because of this I am unbelievably picky about Thai food especially in America. This little Hidden Gem has some of the most delicious authentic Thai food you will ever have in America. I kid you not!
I go back to Thailand to visit family twice a year and this restaurant is as good as the best places you'll find anywhere in Bangkok.
Anyone who really understands Thai food will tell you that it is very muted in America for some reason. She brings out the rich vibrant flavors in color that are so amazing with Thai Cuisine. Nothing muted here.... it sings with tantalizing flavors!
Small family run place with world class food! Amaaaaazing!!!
I was pleasantly surprised with Thai Garden Cuisine. Not what I’d expected. The host was very friendly, and interacted with us. The food was very tasty and very authentic. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, and Curry Chicken...but I will caution you, if spicy is NOT your thing, go mild, or go home. We ordered our meals Medium spicy, and will definitely be asking for MILD next time. Yes, there will be a next time! 🙂 Also, if you’re not sure what you want, don’t hesitate to ask for a recommendation, and they are willing to accommodate, especially for food allergies, since peanuts are a common ingredient for a lot of the dishes.
Best thai food I've had in a long time, tastes authentic and the owners are so friendly, this place is a gem!
Seriously AMAZING Thai food Ever. Super flavorful. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Thai food. The chef lady is very sweet, she definitely can cook really well. I definitely will be back.

The food is delicious and the people are warm and welcoming. So happy to have found them!
Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Food was great. It's a very homey restaurant. Staff was friendly. Would happily eat here again.

I LOVED this restaurant. Probably the best one I have been to by far. Everyone who worked there was so sweet and the food was AMAZING. I absolutely recommend it if you want authentic fresh food. The beef and meatball soup was so good and very similar to vietnamese pho (personally their version was better) Their thai tea is the best I have ever tasted from any thai restaurant I have been to, it is a must get. The atmosphere was really cool as there are a ton of trinkets to stare at and woman cook also showed me her garden in the back that she uses to cook the food. She even gave me a sprig of lemon grass to use for my teas and plant!!! <3
We asked the waiter for his recommendation and ordered their signature pad Thai. It was delicious and fresh. Serving size was more than enough. Will be returning. Very authentic, Recommend 100%.
Great food, great price, great employees
Cute authentic Thai place downtown! Waitstaff is always nice and food is delicious!
Excellent. Truly unique atmosphere, it felt super homey. Friendliest service ever. Food was amazing. I had pad thai, can't wait to go back and try the fried rice.
So I ordered the Tom Yum soup with beef. I guess it's "lemon grass" soup with noodles.. Ok the problem was when it came " dressed" with the herbs, beef, and sauces it still tasted like pure LEMON WATER.. No flavor so I told yhe waitress. She brought it back and they added more seasoning and more lime I guess... Then it tasted like salty vinegar. So the guy chef came out and had a nice conversation with me and said they usually don't make it with beef.. And he would make me a beef soup with a different broth.. I said ok I'll take it. 😎 Next thing I hear YELLING in the kitchen then the Lil lady came out (owner) yelling at me! Telling me I ordered lemgrass soup and she then kicked me out 😅. The end.. I hope you have a better experience than me . I gave the one star hence the nice chef who was willing to fix it.
The food and service was absolutely fabulous! Will definitely be coming back!!
Aunthentic Thai Food! Must try!
Best Thai I have ever had! Every thing is wonderful! Service is phenomenal!
Best Thai food! So yummy!
Love this place, the food is outstanding as is the service.
I am by no means a “foodie” but I believe my partner & I are fair judges when it comes to Asian cuisine. We predominantly eat & cook Asian and Thai food is our favorite. When I say this is the best Thai food I’ve eaten, it’s no joke! We decided this was overall the best MEAL we have eaten all year. The waitress was so kind & attentive. The owner came out & thanked us for our kind words & even gave us some lemongrass from her own garden to take home. This is an absolute hidden gem & if you love Thai food it’s a MUST visit if you find yourself in Goldsboro. PS: Thai hot is HOT!!
Grate food kind people and no wate time
Stop by on the way back and it is the best decision ever! This is the hidden gem! The place looks very sentimental. The food was very authentic. I’m Thai and I would say their Padthai tastes exactly like Thai street food! The owner is very nice and funny. Excellent, as usual!
I knew this place was gonna be awesome as soon as we walked in. The man who seated us was very friendly and we had an awesome conversation about the local area since we weren't from there. We started with a chicken Tom Kha soup, which was loaded with veggies and chicken. Minus it being a little on the citrusy side for me it tastes great. I ordered the pad Thai with beef and shrimp level hot and my wife ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. Both dishes tasted great and the spice level was very good. The only criticism I can say I had was the Thai coffee, I'm used to having a pour over style setup with condensed milk and ice. But other than that I would return to this restaurant because the dining experience was great.
I am highly disappointed with this restaurant. They are extremely disorganized. I placed an order over the phone for pick up and was told that it would be ready in an hour. I arrived at the restaurant 45 minutes after I placed the order and it was closed. Do not take any orders if you will close before fulfilling them. My lunch break is limited and I took time off for lunch, only for the restaurant to be closed. Bad business
Tasty
We drove all the way from South Carolina to eat here and it was well worth it! The food was incredible, and the owners make you feel like family. What a special place.
Best curry I've had in a restaraunt. You can tell it's not canned curry paste like most places serve.
Best Thai in NC! Fresh food and friendly service at very reasonable prices. Will be back and highly recommended! Would award more stars if possible.
Best Thai we have had in NC. Will be back whenever we are back in Goldsboro. Lovely little gem!
Pad Thai was THE BEST! Worth the quick and easy trip down from Raliegh. Price was right. Food was delicious and the owners were so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be back!
BEST THAI FOOD EVER ! Drove down from Raleigh because so many friends recommended the place. It’s on the way to the beach. Go out of your way to eat here. You’ll be so glad you did ! Charming place and excellent service. Pad Thai was the most delicious ever !
We just discovered this restaurant even though it's been in Goldsboro for years. The food is amazing. It's all homemade and like going to someone's house to eat. The owners are super sweet and so eager to help. We've been twice and absolutely love it. If you love Thai cuisine, this is a great place to try.
Beef Salad 🥗... Really Good 😊... The SPICE IS ON POINT
Absolutely delicious
Best thai food I've ever had. Drunken noodles are a must. Pad thai was phenomenal. Currys are on point. The starter rice crisp are SO GOOD. Definitely get it all . We got spring roll appetizer and I could have eaten 3 plates worth. Keep this business alive and come here. Don't waste your time with the chains. This is the REAL DEAL.
This is a hidden gem in Goldsboro. The food ranks as some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The chef used to be the chef for the royal family of Thailand and it shows. We visited twice in the last two days and will make it our dinner and lunch spot when traveling to and from the beach.
The food is amazing I would strongly recommend it
I’ve been here a bunch of times and it’s always incredible. I’d eat here every day if I could afford it, honestly! Highly recommend the coconut soups, Thai tea, chicken pad Thai, spring rolls, and gyoza.
Amazing experience! Incredible service, food was authentic, fresh and tasted amazing.
Excellent food! Incredibly kind service! We loved hearing Janet and Chef Richard share their stories. Highly recommend stopping by this hidden gem!
Amazing food
Had the yellow curry and spring rolls. 10/10
Highly recommend Thai Garden. The food was so amazing and customer service was great. Will definitely be back very soon.
This is the best Thai place in Goldsboro hands down! Food is amazing. Staff is amazing. I will come here everything I crave Thai!
Very authentic, and family-like atmosphere. Loved Janet ! EXCELLENT customer service, will make a normal dining spot!
Ordered sweet and sour pork. Not sure it was actually pork. I specifically said not spicy, yet. It was rather spice. Though edible, my lips were burning. Not returning.
I love the at home feel. It's small and the owners are darling people. The food is fabulous. My kids have loved it since they were little. They're all grown now and I love taking them back every now and then.
Delicious food and nicest staff!
Best Thai food ever! Authentic and fresh food! Janet is amazing and so hospitable! My boyfriend and I decided to come in for lunch and we ordered Red Curry and Pad Thai. Both were so good!! Janet said everything is fresh not canned and the bell peppers and basil in my dish came straight from her garden! If you’re looking for authentic Thai food and great service you can’t get better than this! We’ll be back tomorrow for more!
We had such a wonderful late lunch here. Everything was so delicious and the owners were so wonderful and sweet! We will definitely back soon and often!
This is a one of a kind mom and pop restaurant. We ate there for the first time last night. It was very good, I ordered medium hot and boy, it was hot. The portions are large with enough to take home, however, I thought the prices were a little on the high side. I would definitely eat there again, the owners are really sweet people.
Eating here is like eating at family. The food was very good (hot) and service was good. But what makes this place special are the (presumably) Thai owners. Very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy the meal. So strange was the number of takeout customers that the owners seemed very familiar with. I'll go back.
Absolutely love this ma and pa joint. Truly Authentic like back home in Thailand. Pad Lad Na made with Chinese broccoli which is what this dish is originally made with. I will say when you go in to this place you need to let them know you want it thai style and not American Thai. (American Thai is when they add color to the dish like Chinese do. They add like corn, peas carrots etc.) I love the authentic style, it is what I was raised on and how it should be served. The Chicken Satay is a nice appetizer originally grilled and not deep fried like others do as a short cut. Deep fry kind of takes away from the flavor for this one. Sometimes it is a wait but only because ma cooks each dish to perfection for each customer. I highly recommend this place. It is worth the wait. In my travels coming threw I always stop here for that taste of home. Not many places do authentic anymore so when you find ones that does, they are keepers.
Just a note, if a Thai place doesn't come out with condiments for your dishes then it is not Authentic Thai. They always have variety of hot sauces and peppers to add to your dishes when brought out. You should never have to ask for the condiments that go with the dish. It is a common thing in Thai Restaurants in Thailand so it should be no different here unless it's not Authentic. Hope this helps all that are looking for the real deals.
So-Wat-Dee-Ka Everyone and Enjoy🥰
Dirty location that has to be a health code nightmare. Some reviewers talk about how authentic it is. Thai food is very regional and what you get in the north of Thailand is different than what you will get in the south, kinda like NC BBQ. This place was just disgusting. Way too spicy, could not taste the food thru the heat. The condiments they brought to table looked liked they were months old. the people were friendly but I was afraid to touch anything. The health inspection that was posted was an 88. This place is definitely on the lower end of Thai food available in Wayne County. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, I would like to say I have driven here twice on their schedule days/hours open and they were in fact not open. Tonight I walked in and not an employee in sight for 5 minutes. I grabbed a menu and finally an employee came out and told me to sit wherever. There were only 2 tables with customers. 1 finishing up dinner, and 1 with a couple still waiting for their food. I took a seat. A family of 3 came in behind me and sat. I sat for 15 minutes by myself and got overlooked the entire time by the older gentleman who was waiting this Friday evening.
We were driving and looking for a place to stop for dinner when we stumbled upon this place, and it was a wonderful surprise. All of the food was delicious, but watch out for the spice because it's pretty spicy even at just hot or medium. The owners are extremely friendly and passionate, and that combined with the decorations made a cozy and enjoyable environment to be in. A very memorable meal for our whole family.
Janet was great and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Service was excellent, we had the shrimp talay and drunken noodles that were out of this world! We will definitely be back.
Loved it, the Thai food was amazing. Authentic just like back home in Thailand and the little family owned ma and pa place was just so warm, cozy and quaint. Super friendly and funny. Would definitly come back when we are down visiting again. Highly recommended.
First time here and we will definitely be coming back! I ordered the Drunken Noodles and my husband ordered the Pad Thai with some Thai Teas and everything was DELICIOUS! We also ate our food with spice level Medium and it was SpIcY! Lol still yummy though. And the couple that runs the place are both very sweet and nice. ❤️
Amazing, authentic Thai food. The owner is sweet and adds a special touch when she has time to come out and talk. My young kids love it too. There is a wait but worth it!! Try the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle.
Once again, we've tried to go here, they're closed when scheduled to be open. Walking up to the door, the open sign was shut off 45 minutes before closing. Go at your own risk as we've tried several times during normal business hours. If they can't keep a schedule, makes me wonder how they handle other aspects of the business.
Terrible!!! I tried calling and their phone service was down. I drive to the restaurant, placed my order, and I was told it would be an hour because it was a big order. It was an order for three people, it was not that big. I waited an hour, went back to get my food, got home, and it turns out they didn’t give me half the food I ordered. This was a terrible experience, and I will NEVER eat at this place again!!!! $100 bill, two hours wasted of my time, and then half my family didn’t get to eat. The best part, they closed immediately after I picked up the half order, so of course I was unable to get them to rectify their mistake. However, I will be back tomorrow to get the rest of what I paid for, after which I will not return. I am not sure what is going on in the world right now, but it seems like every restaurant I have been to lately cannot get anything right. Anyone else having this issue? Seriously, your job is not that difficult. Read a ticket, cook what’s on the ticket, throw it on a plate or stuff it in a box, and send it. This should not be an epidemic of stupidity.
Always delicious!! Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Mrs. Janet and Mr. Peter are super nice and work hard to prepare the best food!
We’ve been coming almost 15 years and have never had a bad experience!
Everyone in the family loves the food…from our 6 year old to our 19 year old!
We love them!
The nicest people and the food is all homemade. The pad Thai and the kra pow was fantastic. As a heads up, the medium is still pretty spicy.
SO GOOD. Best Thai food I’ve had in NC, we will definitely be coming back. The owner was so warm and welcoming, I felt right at home :)
We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant that I found through Google Maps. The food is fresh and worth the money
Walked in after two minutes of opening, so we were the first ones in. We got a table immediately. This was our first here and upon sitting, we knew we would like the food considering the atmosphere. We were greeted by a great host who took our order quickly. We ordered basil fried rice with beef - it was Thai spicy, indeed spicy. It was delicious. If you don’t do spicy, get a mild spice added. Second meal was Red Curry with white rice and chicken - This. Was. So. Good. During our meal, one of the chefs came to greet us and asked how our food was. Our mouths were too full to answer but our faces said it all. She proceeded to bring us the most delicious dessert, for free. Please order the fried bananas and sweet potatoes.. life changing!!!
We ate Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Truly authentic Thai Cuisine. Best we have had in many years.
Amazing food, extremely friendly staff! Hot is actually hot. Loved it, can’t wait to return.
You can't get anymore authentic than this place.
What a gem of a place! Great food - lots of food! Everything was so good! The owners are there and make the food for each individual order. They are so incredibly sweet. It’s a must go to when looking for a place to eat.
Got chicken wings and fried rice. The wing was not cooked and was bloody at the bone.
Do not dine-in unless you have hours to kill. I would give zero if possible. From the moment we walked in there was little service to be had. The one waiter was much older than expected (which I have no problem with) but was slow as molasses. We stood up front by the door for several minutes before he came out of the kitchen to greet us. After taking our seats, he did stop by the table quickly but then disappeared to grab the drinks. After dropping off our drinks he expected we would be ready immediately to order but when we were not he disappeared again for nearly 20 minutes before having to be flagged down to take our orders. Upon taking the order he disappeared yet again and didn’t return for nearly 1.25 hours to drop off the first 2 of the 4 orders. Upon looking at the food (which did look good honestly) I had been given the wrong dish. I ordered chicken but received beef. Ugh… After that I tasted the curry but was again met with an underwhelming luke warm meal. We waited for nearly an additional 20 minutes after we had finished for him to bring us our check and some “to go” boxed which never came. We ended up going after him to retrieve the check and boxes. While the food was ok, it wasn’t nearly worth the wait, terrible service, and wrong order. I will not be returning unless things change. This was the worst experience we’ve had since our arrival in NC.
What a gem of a place in the heart of Goldsboro! The husband and wife waiter/cook team were so cute and so attentive. They serve authentic Thai foods that are absolutely delicious!
The business owners are very sweet and the food keeps me coming back here.
Best Drunken Noodles ever!
Homemade sauces... Delicious 😋
Been here 5 times, always had a good experience. They've been wonderful and the food reminds me of my grandmother's cooking.
Food was so good, had gyoza, crispy rolls and pad thai! Everything hit the spot for sure! Also had to get a thai tea Togo! The owners were adorable and even shared some fruit with us. Made with love! Thank you we will be back!
First time eating here and I should have picked another day to visit because they were overwhelmed with the "Light Up Goldsboro" crowd and a lot of people walked out because of slow service or the lack there of. I had lunch here with a party of 9 from larger towns. The couple who took care of us was sweet and hard working. Everyone was commenting on how good the food was. It was spicier at each heat level than we expected, but delicious nonetheless.
Look forward to going back when in the area.
First time for my best friend and I trying Thai food. We got 2 different things and shared. It was delicious. Janet, one of the owners talked with us. She and her husband were friendly. Great atmosphere. We will be going back
OMG! We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was so good! The couple who owns it is adorable 🥰 He explained the photos on the wall, and talked about when Elvis (the king) met the king of Thailand. The pad Thai was perfect, and we each received a mandarin for dessert. This whole downtown area of Greensboro is so eclectic and fun, and the Thai Garden is a treasure. We’re from Fayetteville, but we’ll be back for sure.
Best Pad Thai.
The most Authentic Thai food in Eastern North Carolina.
Fantastic food! Didn't know what to expect but was very pleased!
Stop here! Really authentic Thai food in a family owned restaurant. Super savory and I recommend. The noodle dishes are amazing.
I ordered 5 chicken wings for 8.95 +tax I received 2 whole wings and 3 1/2 wings. I was upset. I will never go back there again.
First timer, and will be a life timer. The couple who own the place are very the sweetest! The food was amazing. Will have to bring my family back.
Absolutely delicious traditional Tai food. A bona fide mom and pop place
Best Thai food I've had in NC. I will be a regular customer from now on. I had the Panang Curry chicken. It was fantastic. I can hardly wait to try all my Thai favorites. Outstanding food. Very very pleased and my belly is full. Fat and happy right now.
I really enjoyed the my pad Thai noodles. I will be coming back
The food here is amazing.
This is the best Thai food in Goldsboro hands down! Everything is made fresh and is full of flavor!
Other than my rice being undercooked the curry was good. I did let the waiter know, she stated that she tried. SMH. I rather wait another 10 minutes for it to finish cooking then to waste the dish. I was not compensated in any way. No discount, refund or exchange was offered.
Love this place! The food is amazing and the owner is such a nice lady. Highly recommend the Panang Curry!
Food is great but not consistent. Sometimes it's amazing then other times it's like I'm eating at a different restaraunt. Also, they close without any notice. Drove to have dinner and nobody was there even though the signs hours said they were open. Disappointing because when the food is good it's delicious but I never know if it will be great or bad which is frustrating. Weird.
Had an amazing meal at this restaurant! Incredible service and great food. Felt like I walked into grandma’s house and she made me lunch. Would definitely recommend if you like thai food and good vibes.
I tried it for the first time and as soon as you walk in you know you’re about to get authentic food. It’s an amazing mom and pop Thai restaurant that I will continue to go to!
Absolutely wonderful Thai food and friendly service. I definitely plan on coming back again soon. Among the best I've had in a very long time!
My family loved this place!! (Even my mom, and that’s saying something!😄) She got the drunken noodles, and hubs and I both got Pad see ew. Excellent plant-based/vegan options (easy to tweak dishes as needed). The part-owner who took care of us accommodated my “no oil” request🙌, and was just so warm and kind in general! We truly enjoyed our experience!
They try to cheat you. They over charge you. I asked how much the bill.was for 2 entrees and in the menu it's listed as 8.99. He said the total.for both was 33.27. I kept asking him how much for each entree and he wouldn't answer. It's a shame because there food is the BEST.
My first time eating at this restaurant and I just got to say that I love their food. It was fresh, delicious, and the servings were appropriate size. The server was very friendly. I would definitely go visit them again.
The food is great, however be warned, we have eaten here a few times and each time has been random levels of spicy. One time we order Thai spicy and we could not eat it, two bites and our mouths were literally uncontrollably burning and I eat ghost pepper and Carolina reaper spicy level stuff. Idk what they put in it (maybe they have raw capsaicin granules back there) but it is random. At that point we had ordered Thai spicy before and it was appropriately spicy. So again, you never know what you’re going to get with spice levels but the other times we had eaten there it tasted great.
Best Thai food around. Very authentic.
Delicious and authentic! Reasonably priced. Service was good. Deserves a chance even if you aren't sure you like Thai food. They adjust the level of spicy.
Very good! Very authentic! The best owners and atmosphere 😊
Super good food. Pretty authentic
Fantastic food! Great Hospitality! Order mild because Thai food is very hot! But for the spicy lovers you can add hot sauces or green chilies to your tastes!
Absolutely wonderful Thai food! I loved everything! Friendly restaurant with a very interesting decor!
I was in Goldsboro so I decided to try Thai Garden. Judy and I love Thai food. Guess I should have gotten a hint because there was a closed sign on the door. It was 530 and they open at 5 but just as I walked up the guy flipped the sign open.
1.)My order was made wrong. My wife's dish was supposed to be mild and was hot as he'll. I couldn't eat it either. Mine was made mild and was supposed to be medium heat.
2.) It took almost an hour to get a to go order and I was the only customer in the restaurant.
3.) I was overcharged by the current prices and the prices on the web are more in the restaurant. I questioned the bill but was told it was correct. Simply got over the $5 to $10 overcharge and didn't tip. $50 plus tax for two dinners a soup and spring rolls ... should have been $40 or less.
4.) My dish leaked out in the bag on the way to my car.
Amazing food and an incredibly sweet chef. The pad Thai was homemade and the best I ever had.
. The atmosphere is really awkward when we came in, we didn’t get our food before they closed an hour early while we were there and started watching a movie. However the food is some of the best Thai I’ve had out here. If you can put up with awkward social graces. I say come for the food stay for the Thai action romance drama movie 🎬
Pad Thai was delicious.
Was good, and fresh.
It was Very Cute and quaint on the inside and the owner was so nice and accommodating.
The food was great, the only thing that was better was the service. Will certainly be back. Some of the best Thai food 😋 in NC
Wanted to try this place as a lot of reviews were good and wanted to give some appetizers a try. We called and ordered 2 appetizers, we were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. We show up about 25-30 minutes later. (Like to give a buffer just in case they aren't done) I was informed it wasn't ready, that's alright, maybe an extra minute or two. Nope. Waited an additional 40 minutes, so an hour and 10 minutes for 2 appetizers. Someone I work with was there and I had asked them how long they had waited. Turns out they were waiting even longer. On top of that, they up charged us with the excuse that their menu online has outdated prices. If you know about it then change it. Will not return unless the upcharging ceases and I don't have to wait over an hour for some food.
Great thai food. I just wish the service was faster.
Great place for Thai food. Service can be very slow at times which is why it's four and not five stars. Food is worth five stars just on taste.
I love this place. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, this is it. My favorite is the KraPow with beef, but whatever you get you have GOT to get the sticky mango rice for dessert. No where does it better. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful place, beautiful people, and awesome eats! We feasted like kings here. Word has it the owner used to also cook for Thai royalty. I can see why she was chosen. Be sure to linger and enjoy every moment.
Thai Garden is the absolute BEST in Goldsboro....hands down!
Very friendly staff and great food. If you ask for "Thai spicy", be prepared for a truly spicy dish. I do my best when I request that level of heat not to make it sound like a challenge to the chef, but by the server's reaction when ordering and bringing the dish I feel it might have been taken that way. Regardless, the food was great and my family.enjoyed it.
My favorite Thai spot! I highly recommend the pad Thai, but be careful if you ask for spicy. Medium spicy is safest if you're unsure. 🔥🔥🔥
Thai cooking with local ingredients. Excellent.
This is the best doggone Thai Restaurant I've ever eaten at and by far the best Restaurant in Goldsboro.
Best Thai food and great service. They are always so sweet!
Tasty Thai Food in Goldsboro, NC. We went with 2 friends who have been to Thailand and said this was authentic Thai Cuisine. 4 stars instead of 5 due to wait for the final bill.
I just ordered take out for the first time ever from this place to try it because it always looked nice whenever I go downtown and it had positive reviews but as far as take out goes I have nothing good to say at all 😟 I ordered a few apps and a dinner order of drunken noodles and my husband went in to pay and pick up. The food wasn't done yet but thats okay because maybe they were busy...(they weren't) "suprising" lol he was charged $46 without them even teling him the total even though I knew the total should have been under $35...okay they took advantage of him maybe because he was wearing an eagles sweatshirt...well our appetizers were completely cold and awful we got calamari, fried tofu, some chicken on a stick thing and gyoza. All cold. And my beloved drunken noodled were fricken stir fry noodles and there was like 3 pieces of chicken... NEVER AGAIN 🤮🤢🤌🏻👎 btw I am not a "Karen" I just don't know any other way to pay back bad karma.
Good food
The absolute best Thai food in NC. My wife is Thai and we both agree that it is authentic, spicy, and tastes soooo gooood!
We will be coming back here many times.
Don't go here if you are expecting your food in a timely manner. We ordered and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We got there and were told it was not ready yet. We waited another half an hour and it was still not ready so we left. Awful customer service.
Great local store with very authentic Thai food! Friendly staff and great food, a must visit in town if you are in the mood of Thai food!
The food was just great and the owner was super friendly. Will definitely be returning
OMG!!! this was my very first time eating Thai food and it was absolutely delicious! The service was great. The cook was so nice and the food was so yummy. I live an hour away from this place and I want to drive just to have the food lol. Will definitely be back!
Great Thai restaurant with exact flavors and tastes back in Thailand. Cute decoration and nice staff
Overall my food was tasty. I had the sweet and sour chicken and my husband had the drunken noodles. The disappointing part was that I found a hair in my food. So then I was a little turned off. However the taste of the food was good. We also had the dumplings as an appetizer and that was good as well.
Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had, and I have had a lot of good and even great Thai food. This, though, is far and away the best. The staff are really sweet, too. You can't go wrong here; I've tried the tom yum soup, the larb gai, phad thai, green curry, mango sticky rice dessert, and Thai iced tea. It's all delicious. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
Food & Service was great.
