Came here for my partner and I’s 3rd year anniversary. It was incredible and the atmosphere was lovely. The people here were so sweet to us and very welcoming, especially since we took a little while to order! The food was served hot and fresh. I liked the centerpiece of the restaurant a lot, but I forgot to take a picture!
While this may seem like just another hike in the wall, the food is actually amazing. Pad Thai was great, and the Chicken Satay really hit the spot... And I tried a new curry for me, which paired with roti incredibly. The service was fast and courteous, and was always ready in the wing for anything you
Haven't been to many Thai restaurants but we went a second time to this one coz the food is soooo goooood!!! We literally went walking around for 40 mins until they opened (1630) coz we really wanted to eat here. Service was so nice, attentive and helpful 🥰 can't remember dishes name but the highlight was the appetizer (ive never tasted anything like it before and it was so delicious!!!) And the vanilla ice cream with sticky rice (with coconut and blueberries) was actually really good despite appearance lol 😳 we kinda destroyed it before it occurred to me to take a pic 😭
Approximately $16 for the panang curry chicken and $12 for the roti thai appetizer - came out to $29.75.
Slightly pricey especially after I saw how small the roti was, however it is absolutely delicious and so much authentic flavor! Their sauce also has chicken and is more than just sauce. You just have to try it. I have had this in many Thai places but this one is slightly different (in a good way) from the norm.
I purchased for take out however the restaurant itself looks cozy and a good place for a date night type atmosphere or if you just want good food.
This is my new go-to for good Thai food.
This place is a must visit if you love Thai food. The service is good and the ambience is great. Also the taste is out of the world. Definitely try their drunken noodles as the spice level is perfect. Their Thai iced tea is also very good and the creme brulee cheese cake is very light and fluffy. Overall a very positive experience.
Very mediocre Thai food which is always a hit or miss. They are the closest Thai restaurant so we give them a chance again and again but I’m done after my last order. The food had a weird smell even my wife’s veg food. I’ve had WAY better Thai food in NJ.
Amazing food - hidden gem! Would recommend their Drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and massaman curry!
Delicious chicken pad tai
Mediocre Thai... A bit on salty side.. Can tell they must be cutting corners as recepes seem less than average.
While this may seem like just another hike in the wall, the food is actually amazing. Pad Thai was great, and the Chicken Satay really hit the spot... And I tried a new curry for me, which paired with roti incredibly. The service was fast and courteous, and was always ready in the wing for anything you
Was really Amazed by the food and the pricing was just right
Very authentic Pad Kee Mao
Good fried rice and noodle dishes!
*I had to edit my review because the service here is not great, specifically, the Asian man with glasses, with the parted hair in the middle of his head.
Tonight, I placed an order with him, showed up 50 minutes after ordering, mind you he told me to give him 30 mins, and he didn’t have my order in! He had no record of me call. Nothing. Just an “oops, sorry.”
I understand it was a busy night, but still—very disappointing, and I live about 20 minutes out. To drive back with nothing sucks. Our phone call was a whole 4 minutes long and he didn’t place the order.
BY THE WAY, last year, I ordered on a dead Tuesday afternoon when I had off and he messed up my order then, too. He charged me for a coffee AND a side order that he didn’t make, that I had to go back for.
Again, great food, yes a little dramatic of a review, but I’m tired of this guy, it needs to be said.
The Thai Iced Tea is delish. All food was served piping hot, and was very tasty. The menu is terrific because you can customize your protein in almost every dish.
It's very small...cozy, and the night we were there, there was a constant flow of diners. BYO.
We ordered pickup before and it was pretty good. This time I have to say the Spare Rib appetizer was terrible. $14 for 3 1/2 ribs that were terrible and I got sick from it.
Amazing food. Order via DoorDash, ordered arrived fast nice and hot. The Pad Thai has very good flavor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Delicious food and excellent service!
If I cooold give them 0 stars I would. I rarely give a review but I got there whole snapper which is 35 dollars and I’ll tell you what it was the driest most unseasoned whole fish I have ever gotten in my life I got the Pal Garlic and I would not recommend to anyone. Save your money this place is super expensive and such a terrible experience that I just had. Just drinking my soup annoyed.
We ordered the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and the grilled salmon in mushroom soy sauce. The. Food. Was. Amazing! Perfect balance of seasoning and flavors that pleased all of pur taste buds. We'll definitely be back.
Very quaint with a touch of casual elegance. The food was awesome.
I experienced a very unfortunate bad experience. i ordered to go, I ended up adding something to my order so I sat down, and was like I will just eat here, the man told me I could not eat inside because I ordered to go. He said that they would have to put my food on plates, I said so you are telling me I can not sit down and eat. I will never go back.
Paid extra so they can add shrimp to my order, just to find one shrimp smh. Never again
There are not a lot of choices around this area. This is one of the restaurants we picked, not by choice. We ordered here for take-out a number of times. At first we liked the food but after a few times I have to say I'm quite disappointed with the quality. There's no consistency with the dishes. We ordered the same items and every time they tasted different. The worst is that every time we ordered the dishes they increase in price by $1 each. For the price of one dish, it is more expensive than what you get in NYC. It is not worth it. Let just say we are not coming back here.
First time for me and I love everything I have,
Very clean restaurant and amazing food every thing was fresh and delicious 💯👍
I rarely post reviews, but the food here was amazing! Out of all of the Thai places that I have tried, this one definitely stands out. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. Also, it was a decent portion size. I will definitely return!
Best Thai food. Got my friends and family ordering from here now!!
Usually great with the food. Taste good.
BUT - although the last two times, they have messed up my order. Ordered Pineapple fried rice about 2 weeks ago and it was not spicy at all when I asked for level 3 spice.
I ordered the same thing again, and this time - as seen in the photo, there’s no pineapple at all. It’s just ok, not the best.
-The decor of the restaurant was ok. It is very basic and not over the top, which is nice, but then a huge piece in the center of the restaurant didn't align with the seating too well.
-The service was not very good. There was an issue with understanding because of the dialect, so there was much repeating. Our party size was a dozen, and for some reason, they took the orders of 8 of us and started bringing out food, then took the other 4 peoples orders. In that process, 3 of the meals came out wrong. (They incorrect meals were returned, but they still appeared in the check, so DOUBLE check your bill)
-The food itself was good. They do not make any substitutions, so I had the grilled beef with "black" sticky rice. The beef was goo's, but was a smaller portion. I was able to try the chicken Thai Rice from another guest in our party, and it was very good. If you are HUNGRY, I recommend getting that.
Overall, it was not a bad eating experience, just not a good dining experience.
*PARKING IS HARD!*
Ordered Green Curry (spicy level 4), was good for me. (Could have got extra rice bowl)
And Pad Thai chicken regular: was bit sweet ish for me. Overall nice.
Loved the ambiance and the food was amazing. Doesn't break the bank either. Win, win in my book.
The Massiman Curry and mango sticky rice was delicious, but the curry puffs were unlike any I've ever seen or tasted. They shouldn't serve those ever!
Excellent authentic Thai food. It was an excellent surprise during our trip. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend.
Each dish at Siwa Thai is more than just food; it’s a journey of flavors that awaken my senses and stir nostalgia for the streets of Bangkok. Whether it’s the tangy sweetness of their Pad Thai or the fiery kick of their Thai fried rice, every bite is a reminder of the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine.
But what truly sets Siwa Thai apart is the warmth and kindness of the staff also they are vey accommodating for vegetarians.
Best thai food around
Quantity was reduced to half and looks like lunch special. The container for dinner take out used to be big earlier.
Intense flavors. Had Tom Yang Koong soup and Pad Thai lunch special. It was good, but it was just too strong for my taste, but certainly better than bland. Spicy level 3 (out of 5) was perfect for me.
Good Thai food, I had the lunch special for the drunken noodles. It does not come with a side salad as advertised online/menu. I asked the manager and she said it was only for dine-in, which I did dine-in. Prices are higher for the area.
Had lunch there in a Saturday. Was not too busy. Food is average and kind on the $$. Service was nice and efficient. Was looking for a traditional pas kra Pao with mince pork but they did not have the option 😑
Excellent food, fair prices, very good service!
Really good pad thai! As someone that lives in the city I usually have low expectations when ordering food in the suburbs in this area but this is the BEST thai I've had here!
This is my new go-to for good Thai food.
Great Thai restaurant, had a pleasure of eating here this afternoon. The food was delicious, service was amazing. True professionalism at its best. Highly recommended. 5 Stars all the way.
First time here and great food! Highly recommend their sampler for an appetizer, and their curry is outstanding as well as their rice/noogle entrees. Definitely will be coming here again! ❤️
I had a pleasure eating at this cozy Thai restaurant tonight. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place, I myself will definitely comeback here to dine again.
Food is great fast service
Worst chicken satay and worst chicken curry puff. They should be removed from the menu. Curry puffs were made like dumplings but worse compared to regular dumplings in a Chinese restaurant. Thai food lovers should go to Coco restaurant for chicken satay and Topaz restaurant in manhattan for curry puffs
The female at the register does not know the C of CUSTOMER SERVICE. They charge you Big City Prices yet provide you LOUSY SERVICE. She charged me MORE for every dish than their Online Menu Prices.. They do not bother to check if the container is closed properly.. They don’t bother to double bag a large order. CHEAPSKATES & GREEDY. The curry leaked thereby damaging the paper bag and all of the food landed on the street. The female who answered the phone does NOT have the DECENCY to ACCEPT or REALIZE their ERROR. Just ARGUES SENSELESSLY… Worst Experience…
The place was horrible. There were 🪰 flies everywhere and flying over my food. I'll never come back to this place ever again. The people weren't nice and was rushing us.
Absolutely delicious!!!! Best chicken red curry and Thai Iced Tea in Woodbridge! Can't wait to go back. Beautiful ambiance also.
I pay a toll just to come here. Large portions with good prices. Best curry puffs I've had. The pad thai has a unique savory sauce that keeps me coming back. Service is quick and waitresses are friendly. They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own.
We love Siwa Thai! The food is always very fresh and delicious! We usually come with a large party of 6 or more and everyone can find a dish that meets their dietary preferences and tastes!
I order from Siwa Thai at a minimum of once a week. I've dined in restaurant, picked up and had orders delivered and it's always a wonderful experience. The dishes are always fresh and spot on with my orders. My favorite dish is the Pad Kee Mao, level 3 spice, I can't recommend this place enough.
Cute little restaurant with nice ambiance. Service was very fast and food was delicious with good sized portions. Overall fantastic experience!
Awesome food, terrible management and customer service. My wife and I just received our meal, packed up and left after a table of 7 was so loud and out of control, disturbing everyone while management stood by and said nothing or did anything to control the out of control behavior. There was no apologies or mention of the rude behavior. Never in my life have I ever experienced such inconsiderate behavior.
I had the red curry and a Thai iced tea. They were both excellent. And the prices were very modest.
Ordered for delivery. Came at estimated time. Flavor great. Serving size great. Price ok, maybe a little more than I would like but I will definitely still order from them again. I got the panang curry, spice level 3. For reference, I’d say the spiciness was equivalent to eating FranksHot Extra Hot. Not overpowering to the taste but you notice it.
Got the pad kee mao and it was really delicious. Service was excellent and quick. Definitely would recommend!
The food was great and the staff was very nice.
In Middlesex county, Siwa Thai is a standout. There is a handful of Thai restaurants but few are as flavorful as Siwa Thai. As a barometer, I usually use pad thai to measure deliciousness on my first visit. My shrimp pad thai was moist and flavorful. I have had the same from Phattra and Four Seasons in the area, they were good but Siwa Thai was better. I’d come back and try the drunken noodle next.
Really good thai food
Came to pick up and order and it seemed like the thought of my waiting there until it was ready annoyed the lady. Anywhere I stood she said no sit here and wait I sat there and waited and then she goes no I need you to move here then wait here or you can go to your car and wait very rudely. Customer service is huge and this place lacks it.
BYOB good food and good atmosphere
The restaurant has good food with decent service. However do not dine in during summers. The only air conditioning system they have is a window ac that doesn’t even work. Expect the temperatures roughly +5 degrees inside of what is outside.
Take out is what I recommend!!!
I've visited this place 2x for take-out and I enjoyed the food.
Excellent food and experience. Has become the primary location for my Thai food needs whether in restaurant or delivery.
Stopped here on a whim on a road trip. Solid Pad Kee Mao. Really friendly service. Not fancy, but still has ambience / is nice. Good prices. Would recommend.
Very Very Poor Service, Very bad Experience. Never going there again.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT for good dine in experience.
It seems SIWA THAI staff never had a professional training or education about running a restaurant as the staff was way too rude. and LOTS of hidden charges.
they cannot serve more than 2 tables in their dine in lounge. As soon as we entered with family we were yelled to stay out side until they are ready for a table of 4 adult. they told us they dont have any table for 4 adult. which is very weird, we saw lot of tables are available and half of the lounge was empty. instead of welcoming us and ask us to wait they told wait out side on the road for 10 mins.
The waitress was not educated enough to take order properly and got our ordered mixed up and got it wrong , multiple times as she has to run when they were serving only two tables in entire lounge.
when order arrived , food was also missing important contents of the food. after informing the waitress she got it fixed and also charged us for fixing their issue, charged multiple time for veggies and one egg which supposed to be a part of the dish.
In the bill waitress added lot of hidden charges including charges for making her work lol . table for 4 adult = 15 dollar charge for large table which I have never seen any where before in any other restautant . really really stupid. they should have a sign for all the hidden charges.
Food was OK.Service was really really terrible.
The food was good
Great Thai food. Absolutely love the ambience and taste of the food.
Moved to the neighborhood in one of those new “modern buildings” in Woodbridge and my husband and I wanted to have a good thai near us. Siwa Thai is pretty good! The restaurant is small and cute. On main street so walkable for anyone living in the area. The only reason I removed one star is that I thought prices was a little more expensive than average (for the neighborhood & comparing to nyc prices) and maybe food was a tiny bit too salty but it was good & tasty in general). We will come back!!
It is such a great place. Food, service prices everything,
I recommend it.
Ordered and noticed price was higher than listed . Mentioned it to the lady and she got an attitude that she was over charging me . Asked my order be cancelled but then had another argument of how i can’t get a refund . Not my first time been here but my first time of actually checking the bill . Won’t be back
Horrible experience walked into restaurant the waitress was rude to a previous customer and their child and then when I went to order take out she told me to go back to my seat I am unable to order with her ignoring the fact that I was only trying to return the menu to her As I knew exactly what I wanted to order her attitude was horrible all customers in the restaurant had were treated as if we owed her something I walked out I will never go back to this place or spend another dollar here
The food was good could it use a little more spice? Absolutely
The shrimp was salty food wasn't that spicy it was okay I probably go back
SUCKS
The food is delicious I ordered for delivery.
The restaurant looks pretty tired and in need of a refresh. The food is average at best and they forgot to put some items in the bag so once I got home I was disappointed. I will not return.
Horrible horrible, horrible customer service... The lady made us wait for half an hour. She did not allow us to wait inside, and after I asked her if there was any way she could make a reservation, She said no, come in 30 minutes, and she will recognize. However, after 30 minutes, she told us that we did not come earlier and asked us to wait another 20 minutes. She allowed another couple sitted who came 25 minutes after us. She was also very rude and unrespectful.
Bad Customers services and they always misunderstood the order and forgot to put the order correctly I order food recently and they didn’t put my rice in my order while they charge me for the whole food
I will give them zero rating and never come back to them at all
The lunch service was fantastic. The food was delicious in every way. Will definitely be back soon.
I ordered takeout and the rice in the fried rice was overcooked and mushy. This is very disappointing! I gave 2 stars because the noodle dish was tasty. I guess I have to keep driving to Bridgewater for good Thai food.
Great Thai food in the town, they have a menu options
Everything about this restaurant is 👍 great
Fried crab tasted great. Duck fried salad yum, would be nice if the duck fried and added to salad when serving, this could make it different, like fudge on icecream 😀. Chicken fried rice only chicken no vegetables but was good little salty. Not felt like the usual Thai where we could feel the taste of basil, other than that food is good.
Excellent Thai Cuisine. I had the Chicken Pad Thai, which was really good and a large Thai iced tea. I asked for lite salt for the Pad Thai and no egg (see the picture). However, they told me they used canned pineapple in their dishes that come with pineapple, shame; they could be more refined with their ingredients, but nice flavors and good service. 4 out of 5 stars!
Amazingggggggggg!!!!!! Pad Se Ew was probably the best I’ve had
Great new authentic Thai restaurant in a stylish cool atmosphere. All foods were served fast , hot and very flavorful. We will definitely become regulars! Service is also very friendly as Thai people generally are
Super small portion for a lot of money. Ribs were horrible. Shrimp was dried out and cold.
WOW! Just WOW! the food is beyond amazing! I decided to give this place a try and I was pleasantly surprised! Finally a place in town that has authentic flavorful Thai food. My son who is a picky eater kept raving about how delicious the Chicken Pad Thai was. The portions are big we even had leftovers to take home. This place is definitely getting my business. Can't wait to try other dishes. Yumm!
Food was ok. The tofu seemed dry and didn't have any taste. Have been looking for a Thai place and this one popped up. It was close so we decided to give it a try.
We have been ordering from SIWA since we moved here 6 months ago, the last two times the we’ve had a few issues, however last night the food was inedible. The two dishes we ordered to go was so salty, the Thai iced tea had no milk added and was very bitter. I am not one to complain about price but when you’re paying so much for food, you would expect the quality to be good!
Small portion for the price but they were very nice
Terrible. Will not be back. Massaman chicken curry dish was gross. Couldn’t eat it. Also next to no food in it (not that it really matters since it was inedible)
I’ll stick the Thailand Restaurant in Clark. No thank you.
We fancy ourselves Thai connoisseurs and have yet to settle on a “spot” between Brooklyn and Essex county. Now we have!
We live 40 min away but we’ll definitely be back!
Great food. Good service
We typically order delivery from here and its always piping hot and delicious when it is delivered. We recently decided to dine in and it was fantastic! You can tell this is family run and the food is cooked with love. The service was a bit slow but very VERY attentive. We were also there on a friday so the dining room was full and the phones were ringing off the hook so the service being a bit slow was not an issue. Glad to see such a fantastic place so busy because we want them to stick around. Hoghly recommend this great restaurant and suggest their spring rolls as an app!
Good has no flavor not authentic Thai
One of the best Thai food restaurants we have ever gone to! My husband has never tries Thai food and since day 1 he loves their food!
Only noodles are to die for, we tried a different item and it came out horrible 🙄
Flavorful and tasteful! Happy to see quality Thai in Woodbridge without having to go to NY or North Jersey. Will be back
Overall was okay. The massaman curry was kind of greasy and the beef and chicken in the stir fried noodle dishes were dry.
We were so hungry I only got a picture of the cheesecake (which was very good, although I don't know if it needs the second layer).
Saddest part for us was that the thai iced tea was forgotten in our delivery =( but hopefully missing items are a rare occurance.
Worst Thai food we ever had. Ordered Pad Thai aside from the lack of taste it had no peanuts. The other dishes where just as bad. I can’t believe the other great reviews unless the cooks have changed.
My husband and I had dinner here this past Friday night. We both had the duck dishes and they were amazing! My tamarind duck was so delicious, not too sweet, not too sour or salty. The soup was amazing as well as thier fried calamari. We will definitely be back!
Food was delicious and probably one of the best drunken noodles I’ve had. The green curry was delicious too.
First time at Siwa Thai. Everything was very good.
We loved the chicken Pad See Ew. The Massaman currie was quite good. Nice dumplings, and good crab Rangoons. The shrimp pad Thai was a bit heavy on the fish sauce, and was not to my liking. The shrimp in the Pad Thai were quite large, but a bit overcooked. The Thai iced tea was delicious.
The spice level was reasonable. Very fast service and nice people. I think this will be our new go to Thai restaurant.
The food is really good here!
The waitresses are friendly.
The prices are reasonable except for the Drunken fried rice. I think $13.00 for a bowl of rice is expensive.
I have been here a few times. I always get the Pad Kra Pao. Very good!
I'm was Amazed at the Customer service, They were so Nice, And the Tai Food ABOUSTLY AMAZING YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED...
GO AND GET SOME OF THIS AMAZING TAI FOOD IN OUR COMMUNITY...
I came to Siwa Thai with my co-workers for lunch after hearing good things about it in the office. It lived up to expectations. The food is delicious. Good sized portions and fresh food. I've had most of the Thai restaurants in the area and this place is easily in the top 3 if not number 1 in terms of flavor and portion size. I highly recommend this spot. The indoor seating is limited, FYI. Nice cozy place on the inside.
The restaurant has a modern aesthetic and feels very clean. The workers were both friendly and helpful. Our group ordered various apps such as roti, dumplings, spring rolls and crab rangoon. For entrees, we ordered the red curry chicken, drunken fried rice, pad cashew, garlic beef, and shrimp pra ram. Every dish was delicious and had tons of rich flavors. This will definitely be a spot I return to.
Very, very good food. The new place to go for all my Thai food
Great and tasty Thai food!! Keep up the great work!
Ive been here numerous times. Amazing food, great staff and quick service. I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried here.
Probably the worst pad Thai I ever had at this place. The noodles had no taste. I’m not sure how this place is rated 4.7
The drunk noodles is very very authentic, the pad Thai needs a little something more and they never give you forks or chopsticks. But very nice people, quick service, and decent food!
Delicious food at affordable prices. Great service too! Will return!
Amazing cute place! The drunken noodles were amazing. The spring rolls tasted so fresh I loved them!
Drunken noodle, pineapple fried rice...excellent. fast, fresh and delicious.
What a magnificent culinary gem right on Main Street, Woodbridge. My wife and I were looking for Thai restaurants near us (Colonia) and Siwa was presented as one of the options. We were a little worried after reading some of the negative reviews. Well folks, let me say this....ignore the negative reviews...this place, and the food they produce, is incredible. My wife ate the Chicken Drunken Fried Rice...I had a delectable Chicken Green Curry, as an appetizer we shared an order of Calamari (crispy and golden fried to perfection. I think we may have just discovered our go-to restaurant for Thai cuisine. Great food and service at Siwa Thai Restaurant.
The food here is excellent. Nice selection of dishes if you like spicy or mild. You can dine in or take out.
Great food good service
Really nice Thai restaurant, they make everything vegetarian and we found out its owner by same person who owns Phattra in Metuchen.
Been here now about 3-4 times. The food is always delicious. Can't go wrong with either the red or green curry chicken.
