Authentic Thai Cuisine for takeout and some seating thank you For your support and have a great day
Can't believe I've never heard about this place before! We came around 6:30pm on a Sunday but we were the only ones there; there are four tables with four seats each, and the interior has very bright lighting and is very clean. Food came out super quickly. Note -- there's a 3.25% charge for credit cards (or girl math, you get a discount with cash).
We got the chicken pad Thai (level 3 spice) and the jungle curry. They were so good that my boyfriend and I just ate our whole meal in silence (minus the sounds of our forks scraping our plate and talking about how yummy the food was). The pad Thai was peanut-y and savory, while the jungle curry was of a thinner consistency than the typical curry dishes I'm used to. The curry was still amazing with the spice and rice, and was the perfect meal for the cold, rainy weather we've had lately.
Overall, I'm just very happy that there's an amazing Thai spot in town and will definitely be coming back!
Oh boy, I never had this much worst experience with any Thai restaurant in the last three decades. The lady on the counter was so rude and trying to be smart and food. Just imagine they charged me 14.87 for the worst simple soup, which has only onions and green peppers and no taste, a total waste of money. The printed price was different they charged me differently, so be careful .
We wanted to try a new Thai place. When we got there there were no customers in the store and the owner was sitting at a table. Three of us sat down to eat and right away we were told the food was to spicy for us and we could not send anything back or get refunds. We like spice so we accepted and ordered a #1 spice from 1 - 5. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and the spice was okay but I would have tried a #2 in the future. We ordered a salad and since one of us doesn't like onions we asked for them on the side. The lady told us that they don't do that, so we would have to order with onions in it or no onions at all. The chicken satay and it was '5' very small sticks 3 bites each for $15.00. The fried pepper tofu was way over fried and became unpleasant but we assumed that we were stuck based off of the attitude we were getting. We ordered the Gaiy Yang and it was mediocre at best. The main reason for low rating is that the lady came back out with our cash saying we owed her more money. The total was 111 and we gave her 121 cash. Seeing as she wasn't very accommodating we tipped acordingly; about 10%. She said that 18% minimum was required and I told her that we decided the tip. She told us we can only get takeout if that was the case. Firstly there are way better Thai places around and secondly they don't have a stone cold demeanor. Secondly I told her if that's the case we won't come back for takeout either and she said Thank you. Guess she doesn't need the business even tho she was just sitting there doing nothing when we got there.
My wife and I found this place a month in Somerset. We got some food and loved it. Went back about a week later to find that the Somerset location was closed. Luckily, we found ouy that they had an East Brunswick location! Definitely getting some more Pad Thai and Chicken Satay from here... and a Thai Ices Tea. 😊🤘🏾❤️
I was very happy to see a new Thai restaurant in town, and we were not disappointed!
They have just opened and I stopped in to check out the menu
Great selection, a lot of regular dishes you see everywhere and then a few that stand out as special dishes that I have only seen here
We ordered curry puffs, mee Siam, Pad thai, mango chicken and the fried rice with Pineapple
The mee siam is a stand out dish, it's thin noodles coated with a dry curry powder type sauce that just has an amazing flavor profile - it's very different than what you would think of as a Thai curry dish as there isn't really a sauce with it. The shrimp were cooked perfect and tasted very fresh
The pad thai was flavorful and prepared well, but please be warned if you are not used to thai spice you should not get any more than "mild" - Diamond Thai is no joke when it comes to spicy heat in their dishes
The curry puffs are a staple order whenever we go out for thai, their puffs are vegetarian and the sauce served with them is a vinegar based Cucumber/ onion relish
The mango chicken is a sweet / savory dish that was rich and flavorful - a lot of sauce, so it works well over rice to add a nice flavor. Hints of sweetness balanced with thai spices - not a spicy dish
The Pineapple fried rice had some nice wok-smoke flavor - we have never gotten this before but always wanted to try. It's a nice side dish that complements the others
Thank you for a great meal, and looking forward to returning
I stopped at Diamond Thai for dinner one evening. I ordered Tom Yum soup with chicken and it was a meal in itself. Literally the best Tom Yum soup I ever had. Extremely flavourful. Highly recommend this place.
Like its Veggies dishes! Yummy and authentic!!!

Five star great service
Great food - our go to place

Excellent food!!!!
The food is awesome. I always order the Jurds Woon Sen and it’s the exact level of flavor and spice I am looking for. The location is clean and the lady who took my order was very pleasant. 10/10

Very nice woman inside, delicous food, large shrimp that were very fresh and their rice noodles were extra wide as well.
Great fresh food authentic Thai very friendly and great prices highly recommended
It sucks, food is disgusting, smells terrible. Chicken is not cooked, looks old, has brown look to it and stinks.
Good Thai food with good flavor! Got the Pad Kra Pao (Basil) with beef, the basil flavor is really good, and the beef in it was good too. If you like shrimp, they give really nice, large fresh juicy shrimp which are great. Drunken noodles were also good, also because you can request as much spiciness as you want. The spice level you can request from 1-5, I love really spicy food, 3 was very spicy but perfect for me, for normal people it's too spicy. 4 was even spicier and I could eat it, but the spiciness was distracting away from the flavor, it's like an extreme challenge for normal people, so I prefer 3. The Thai iced tea was also great. The owners here are really nice people! This place is our go to Thai place.
Highly recommend Pad thai vegi tofu and Trisye with knowledgeable to let me know about their menu which the right things to eat for me.
Local Thai place, nothing special. Inside is fairly run down. Owner is very nice though, would definitely go back if I was in the area
We go here all the time, best Pad Thai ever!
This establishment undoubtedly stands out as the premier Thai restaurant in the vicinity. Personally, I hold a deep appreciation for the cuisine offered here. Having availed their take-out services on multiple occasions, I can attest to the promptness of their service and the meticulousness with which orders are prepared for timely pick-up. It's worth noting that this is an authentic Thai restaurant, where the spice levels are not to be underestimated. For first-time visitors, I advise starting with the mildest option and gradually increasing the spice tolerance. If you have a penchant for genuinely spicy Thai cuisine, this place comes highly recommended. It's worth mentioning that unlike many other Thai establishments in the area that cater to local tastes, this one remains true to its authentic Thai roots.
Best thai in the area!
Fantastic....
you won't find many thai restaurants as good as this.
Try the Gang Karee

Food is decent. Portion size very very small. Ordered a red curry w. shrimp lunch special came with 2 shrimp(not jumbo) Very disappointing. Container with jasmine rice filled half way. Won’t be going back. Don’t get ripped off!!
So happy to have this authentic Thai food in my neighborhood. Ordered the pad woon sen and it’s delicious 😋! Fresh ingredients and loaded with flavor. My advice to all is know your spice tolerance. Mine is quite high (for an American 🤷🏽♀️) and I dial down a notch here. I highly recommend 😊!!
Do not order the Tom Yum Goong soup. $15 for a bland tomato broth with 3 shrimps, and NO LEMONGRASS, no spices!
Best Thai food around! Pra Raam and peanut sauce is incredible. The other curries are also just as good. Their soups are also amazing. Highly recommend!
Best Thia Food in this area … very flavorful and quality food … Spice level is similar to Thailand.. Finally we have a very good quality Thia food in East Brunswick area .
Great food, friendly staff!
Great food, love the green curry
Poor service, bad seating , with a higher than average price.
No heating or cooling for dine-in.
The food is amazing. Debbie served my family and she made us feel welcomed. She even educated us on her Thai food concepts. I highly recommend this wonderful eatery.
The red curry was delicious a surprise lunch treat. Very fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Definitely coming back!
I do miss the old Chinese place here but this wasn't too bad. The pad Thai was a tad too salty for my taste but it tasted good. Service was fast and food came out quickly. I didn't need to wait a million years. I'll come back whenever I'm feeling a noodle itch.
I went for lunch, but I was a little late. I asked for the lunch special, but they were very nitpickish about that. They would only allow me to order from the dinner menu. Then they told me that "the computer wouldn't allow them to ring up a lunch special". So I left. They don't have to accommodate me, but I don't have to patronize them.
I have to disagree. We had a chicken pad thai and it was nothing special, chicken had some weird skin on it. First and last time.
Just finished my first order from Diamond Thai and I couldn't be happier. Some of the local places have been putting >ketchup< in their pad thai for some unknown reason- Diamond Thai thankfully doesn't do that- the flavor was spot on perfect. They also know the meaning of "Thai Spicy". I asked for a "3" (on a scale of 1-5) - the owner tried to convince me to go down to a "2" but I told him i could handle it.. well- it was HOT! So happy to have a new Thai restaurant in town where the chef knows his craft so well. We will certainly go back and try more of his dishes! Highly recommended.
Really great thai food! Had take out for the first time last week and loved everything. Spicy actually means spicy so please order mild if you can’t tolerate spice. The best part is that the food isn’t saturated in oil compared to some of the other local thai restaurants.
Great food and very friendly. Definitely one of the more spicy capable Thai restaurants in the area.
I am very glad to have this Thai restaurant in my hometown. Not an ordinary Thai restaurant - the entire family enjoyed well presented dishes - the food is fresh & delicious!
Food was fresh and extremely flavorful. Chef Soon was very personable and wanted to ensure we left happy and satisfied.
Will definitely go back.
The service and food was impeccable. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for an authentic and delicious meal.
Very tasty and good portion. Highly recommend✨ They are just opened but sadly we just moved away to the city. Hope them the best!
Excellent Thai food! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and friendly staff. The green curry is delicious! We’ve been customers of the Somerset location for a few years and now it’s great to have a location here in EB!
Drunken noodles are amazing, had thai bbq chicken was also good. Debbie at the counter is very friendly, I'll be back there soon.
