The Lotus of Siam location inside of the Red Rock is luxurious with pricing to match. I highly recommend the prix fixe menu so you can sample more things.
The prix fixe menu includes four courses, so you enjoy an appetizer, soup choice, entree, and dessert.
During this visit, I went with the chicken lollipops, tom yum soup, salmon, and fried banana. Everything was great!
This is one of my favorite local Thai restaurants. I love how close the Red Rock location is to me.
I attended the Champagne Party Brunch during the weekend and it did not disappoint! It’s definitely the spot for the locals. The food and drinks were amazing, service was great and of course the dj and party vibe was top notch. Everyone was there to have a good time. If you want an elevated brunch experience definitely check this place out!
I tried Lotus Siam for the first time, and I have to say, it was amazing! We got three appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts, and everything was so good. The flavors were on point, and each dish was really well done. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service was great too. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll for sure be coming back!
If you're in search of an authentic Thai experience with a modern twist, *Lotus of Siam - Red Rock* is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a chic yet welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable meal. The vibe is a perfect blend of trendy and traditional, creating an ambience that’s both lively and cozy.
The drink menu is nothing short of amazing. Their creative cocktails are expertly crafted, and the selection of beverages complements the Thai flavors beautifully. Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing Thai iced tea or something with a bit more punch, you won’t be disappointed.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Lotus of Siam is renowned for serving up authentic Thai cuisine, and they do not disappoint. The dishes are packed with flavor and presented with a modern flair. Each bite feels like a perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and texture, making it clear why this place has such a strong reputation. The Pad Thai, green curry, and crispy garlic prawns are standouts, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
And then there’s the service—impeccable from start to finish. The staff is attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They enhance the dining experience with their warm hospitality and ensure you feel taken care of throughout your meal.
Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with friends or a special date spot, Lotus of Siam - Red Rock delivers on every level. Authentic food, killer drinks, and top-tier service all wrapped up in a cool, energetic setting. Highly recommend!
Don't come here for Thai food. Come here for its ambience? Beautiful restaurant. Westernized Thai food flavors. Or maybe we need to just try their original location we've heard so much about. Ask for sauce on the side (for those who aren't into overly salty, overly sweet, overly westernized Thai food flavors). I didn't recognize the dishes to taste like Thai food. It was pretty confusing. I definitely can see this space being nice to relax with a nice drink and snack to share at the bar.
Service is really nice! Ambiance and decor is really nice. Both of which I could see bring guest back again and again.
Seat are Vegas strip style...squahed a bit close, or not enough space for semi-conversation privacy?
My friend's usuals -
- Prawns with sauce on the side. One sauce taste straight up like sugar candy (too sweet).
- Sea bass with light sauce. This is a dish I'd recommend out of everything we ordered.
- Shoulder with sauce on the side. It was tough. And sauce was pretty salty.
I suggested trying the Khao Soi...bad idea.
- The Khao Soi was super salty. Protein picked (short ribs) were also super salty but at least it was tender and soft. The noodles were undercooked but also mushy at the same time? Never tasted a Khao Soi like this so far.
Mocktail was refreshing, and not overly sweet at all. Or maybe the staff took into consideration that we do not like sweet drinks.
A Thai fusion restaurant located inside the Red Rock Casino. A very welcoming decor and ambiance. The tables are stacked a bit too close to my preference. The food was great, and I definitely would recommend the seafood plates, the portion plates just about right. Service was good, but they took very long to prepare my cocktail
The service & atmosphere is excellent. However the food compared to the authentic Thai is a bit of less excellent. I like Chili basil sliced beef with white rice, Thai salads, & Pad Thai Chicken add shrimp. Seafood Tom Yum Pot is surprisingly sour; I am disappointed. Other than that, we had good time in this restaurant!
Food not bad. Servers were good but the time for meals and in between dishes a little to long for my taste.
Went here on 15FEB with a party of 7. The place looks nice but why in name of Buddha do they have a DJ? No one could here anyone talk not even the server. Enough of that I live in Vegas and was forced to go because of our out of town guests. I mean why go to an over priced Thai place in a casino unless you're held at gun point?
On to the food. I don't know if anyone reading this has ever seen Japanese plastic models of food. They look amazing and so real but you know if you tried to eat it one there would be no flavor. That describes this place exactly. Some 90 year old must have complained there was pepper in his food once because of that there is NO, nothing, NADA hint of spice in anything we had. Here's a list.
Apps
Eggroll - over cooked or dirty oil
Wontons - same
Fried tofu - looked great but no seasoning, just fried tofu so no flavor
Salads
Chicken Larb - usually a very spicy dish with amazing combinations of spice and herbs. BORING!
Thai salad with peanut sauce dressing - usually free at a lunch special
Mains
Panang curry tofu - nada
Yellow curry chicken - nope
King crab fried rice - the best dish
Pad Thai - really u can't make a flavorful Phad Thai.. looked amazing though
Pad See Yu (sp) - come on it's noodles with soy sauce and how can you make it with no flavor?
Dessert
I didn't eat any but on the table was some green thing that got a thumbs down and some pineapple cake thingy that got a thumbs up
I didn't have to pay but my guess is the bill came to 4 bills which would been a good deal had everything been delicious.
Go to the food court or take an Uber to a actual Thai place if ur stuck at this ghetto hotel/casino.
I’ve dined here a few times. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are amazing. They have great vegan options!! Which is a must so I can dine with friends and family without them having to feel bad that i’m not eating. The atmosphere is great. Decor is beautiful. I love this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. I loved the lighting and interior design.
I am never pleased when I feel rushed by the wait staff. Horrible feeling. That's a management issue and I don't blame the server.
The menu is extensive. The pricing seemed high in relation to the food quality.
I had the fried chicken wontons. Tasty, but the inside of the wonton looked like some type of cubed, chicken paste. Not an appealing sight.
The crispy duck was Tasty but it seemed overcooked like Duck Jerky. Is there such a thing?
I'm not sure I'll be back. It'll have to be a special occasion and/or a special person. The food, lighting and atmosphere won't have me rushing back.
Food was decent enough.
This place gets a 1-star rating because the management apparently takes credit card fees out of the servers' wage, forcing them to discourage splitting checks. What kind of sleazy, greedy, and cold restaurant do you have to be to shift credit card fees to your staff? Lotus of Siam, apparently.
This place charged me the wrong amount. After I informed the waitress of the error and requested that she void the transaction and rebill me, she said they could adjust it at the end of the day. I stupidly believed her and allowed them to charge my credit card again.
The next day, I reviewed my credit card statement and noticed two charges that totaled the correct amount. However, a few weeks later, while reviewing my statement again, I discovered that I had been charged double.
I called the restaurant and requested to speak with a manager. The employee I spoke with asked me to provide my information and said they would get back to me. However, I never received a call.
I am now disputing this charge with my credit card company.
First, the ambiance when you walk in..very nice! It won't be complete without the crispy garlic prawns. First time trying the pork belly appetizer and it is a game changer
The ribeye nua yum latiem is a must try. The Khao soi duck is also good!
Save space for dessert! Jeff gave good service
Last couple times we eat at Lotus at Red Rock location the service was lacking they use to be on top of things. Today we always had to look for our waiter and it seems the food had a different recipe. This was my 10th time coming to Lotus of Siam. We will take a break for while and look for a different restaurant.

The oysters here are so delicious because of the green sauce that they serve with it. I got the red snapper and king crab fried rice as my entree. The snapper comes out uniquely presented and fried. The sauces that come with it are so tasty. The crab fried rice is amazing too. The service could have been a lot better though.
The atmosphere is great, service was amazing, soup was very salty, and I expected a little bit more of the pineapple fried rice, the noodles was amazing, I would go back for the noodles!
We went here for brunch where there was basically 2 servers for the entire back brunch area. Total mess. They both came over for our order finally and never saw them again. Water never got refilled and we had to ask the buss boy for the check which still took forever. Hardly saw the waitors on the other tables as well...
Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction – though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock have led to disputes about both the heritage and legacy of Lotus going forward.
Having visited the icon of Thai Food several times prior Thursday evening found the concept from Tao Group owner Lou Abin at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa as busy as it is beautiful with improved service.
Built out of former Buffet space, lanterns and hanging vines creating a vibe across spaces from bar to the back, it is with a truncated version of Chutima’s Northern Thai traditions that Lotus at Red Rock pays homage to the original with service more appropriate to Summerlin.
Requesting everything level five of ten, Thai Coffee and signature Riesling a prudent choice for those looking to quell the fire, Dinner began with hot Wonton Soup alongside Issan Sausage that is snappy, sour and worth every word of praise.
Not forgetting better-than-expected Egg Rolls or Nam Prik Ong teaming with Chilis, Vegetables and Pork Rinds used as delivery mechanisms, Garlic Crispy Prawns continue to earn “Mom’s Highlights” status with edible Shells still on and varying textures from bite to bite.
All in on Noodles and Curry, Beef Pad See Ew well executed but lost in the wake of two styles of fried Rice, any residual grains are well-utilized in sopping up the Sauce from Crispy Duck Chu-Chee or Panang Curry with medium rare Ribeye.
The atmosphere was very nice. The problem was that the server didn't listen to our orders so most were wrong. Then when we asked about it he didn't see what was wrong. For example if some asks for no onions and there are extra onions, don't try to convince them there are no onions in the dish. Also......they show a nice presentation of food online but our food looked like mush.
The food was great. I had the pad thai and yellow curry.
Very good. As good as the original location.
Always great food and service. Very Accommodating!
Anyone who knows anything about Thai food knows Lotus either location is one of the best in the country. People from all over the world travel to eat at Lotus. We going back over and over.
One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Las Vegas! It has great food, the service is awesome, and atmosphere is amazing! Lots of GF options too. Would highly recommend.
I have eaten at my fair share of Thai restaurants in Vegas, and Lotus of Siam is excellent. The ambiance and atmosphere here is absolutely beautiful, and the food and service were excellent. I got the Khao Soi with duck as recommended by our server and it did not disappoint. One of my most memorable meals in Las Vegas!
Me and my friend ate here last night while at redrock casino. We ordered chicken lollipop for appetizer, the garlic, sweet and spicy sauce is very flavorful that complimented well with the chicken. For the main course, we order the classic pad thai with prawns, very saucy, sweetness is just perfect and the saltiness, not very tamarindy perfect in every bite. We also ordered the fried rice with duck, very appealing to my eyes, presentation wise, looks very flavorful and savory. My friend ordered it and according to her it is indeed full of flavor. For the drinks we ordered the cocktail with a lychee, not water down, strong alcohol and it's in the sweeter side. I will definitely be coming back.

Ordered the drunken noodle. The worst drunken noodle I ever seen. I can’t even eat it. Has to send it back. Looks like the chef just quickly stir noodle and vegetables together. everything swim in the sauce. The waiter agreed it doesn’t look good. Noodle was not even cooked. I was so looking forward to try this restaurant as I heard a lot about it but very disappointed. drinks were good and the restaurant was beautiful.
What started out as a five star experience, decreased to a one. Everything from customer service to food was enjoyable. Every dish was flavorful. My party & I couldn't stop sharing our thoughts with every bite. Unfortunately it all came to an end when I received my dessert. We both took turns taking bites of the chocolate cake. Once I took my second spoonful, the most disturbing thing happened. I felt something crunchy in my mouth & once I took it out, shockingly to say it was a piece of glass! I understand mistakes can happen in any establishment, but how could something like this happen?! If glass was broken in the kitchen area, definitely there should've been more attention & thoroughness to cleaning because glass shatters & usually ends up everywhere. The manager on duty that evening was attentive & responded to the incident . She took my plate with the glass on it in the back. When she returned she apologized & gave me a 50$ voucher. My party & I had an pre engagement that evening to attend a show & we didn't want to be late so I opted out of discussing my feelings in more detail. It was difficult but i managed to enjoy show later on that evening despite the traumatizing experience I had Lotus. The next day I reached out to the manager (Kirby) who assisted me with situation to say I wanted to speak with someone else in regards to the matter to come to a more appropriate resolution. After emailing the other managers explaining what happened, I never received a response back. Thankfully I wasn't hurt, but there could've possibly been some damage done. I'm not sure which is more disappointing my unpleasant, dangerous experience of taking a piece of glass out of mouth afterwards eating dessert or being treated as if i'm not valued as a customer or human being. The safety issue is involved here too. I have to say in all my years of travel & being new in the area, this has been my worst dining experience with the exception of the waitress who served us that evening . I really hate I didn't make note of her name. Kirby was nice as well & tried to help but I guess she was only doing what she was instructed to do. I gave my 50 $ voucher to the acquaintance I came with because I will not be returning. Maybe poor customer service, a reservation error, or not preparing your meal as requested, those are possible errors that would warrant a 50$ gift card. My safety being jeopardize was not an accident but an incident that shouldn't have ever happened. My review submission is late due to my being out of area for a couple of weeks but it's never the speed of anything but the getting there that count. Management for future references, please acknowledge every customer whether it's an exceptional experience or unpleasant. If unpleasant reach out to that customer to see if there's anything you can do to change it. Don't just assume one thing would be sufficient especially if you hadn't spoke personally to the customer. The whole concept of having a successful, fruitful establishment is contingent upon the ultimate customer service experience. You want people to return after their initial visit & in turn tell others. Sadly I won't be one of them . Hopefully you'll take my review in consideration address the needs of safety to your kitchen workers to avoid something like this happening in the future. Display more empathy in customer relations. My experience may not sound as serious to you but it was for me, even cause me some anxiety. I regret not remembering my waitress name but if there was a separate review I'd leave her 5 stars. Thanks for making a memorable, enjoyable time until the dessert nightmare.
Average upscale Thai restaurant. Nothing special since the expansion. Beef satay is chewy.
Hours on Google are wrong. Sunday is closed from 3 to 5 pm. Terrible experience with the girl at the counter.
During my first visit, I ordered the Pad Thai and Veggie Egg Rolls. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was quite disappointing; it lacked flavor and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. On a brighter note, the veggie egg rolls were excellent—10/10 for their unique filling of mushrooms and cilantro, offering a refreshing twist on the traditional recipe. The drinks were enjoyable, but our server didn’t refill our water throughout the meal. The decor and lighting were elegant, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for a date night. While I would return for appetizers and drinks, I wouldn’t recommend the Pd Thai entree!
The food was delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back. We ate at the Lotus on E. Flamingo long ago and it was cramped, loud, and the service wasn’t great. This Lotus was great. Wish I had taken pictures of all the things we tried. The Red curry w chicken was phenomenal. The spring roll dessert was excellent. From the drinks to the desserts everything was perfect.
My husband loves Thai food, but I am not a fan. Although I’m not a fan, Lotus of Siam had really good food for me to try! My favorite were the prawns which I think everyone loves, so I’d recommend trying that if it’s a first for you eating Thai! Huge portion sizes, so definitely share if you’re on a date or with a group. The mocktail we drank were the best mocktails we had during our trip!
This restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Overcooked chicken and VERY over cooked noodles. Complete mush. Waited almost 45 minutes to get our mains as well. It's too bad because the staff and atmosphere is great. Surprised by the bad food for the high price.
Atmosphere and service were fine, but that does not make up for bad Thai food. We tried the Prix-fixe menu when Pad Thai was an entree. The noodles were tasteless mushy, gummy mound with micro pieces of chicken in mine, and wife's a few pieces of shrimp. We were too embarrassed to send both entrees back. Mini deserts tasted like they were made the day before.
Online says Award winning dishes. Wish they would say which ones. We moved to Summerlin and normally give restaurants a second chance but this was so bad won't try again.
Management wonders we were there evening 10/9/24.
Gorgeous restaurant, staff was great-the food was incredibly disappointing. Flavor was off on the pad see ew and the thum didn’t have pedak and very little spice.
The food taste itself was fine. The servers were excellent. My biggest gripe comes from the attitude I got when I called. I was taking my father for his birthday and wanted to have a little surprise for him during dessert, so I called ahead. Not only did she get snippy with me about not being my server when I asked her to put a note on my reservation about it being his birthday when dessert came out, they actually didn't acknowledge it at all. This is not service that a higher end restaurant in a nice hotel should be giving to their customers on their frankly overpriced meals.
My wife and I both live here in Las Vegas and ordered dinner to go. I had the shrimp pad thai. It was terrible. The shrimp were like toothpaste -- mushy. One step away from spoiled. They used the wrong noodles. Pad thai is supposed to be made with flat rice noodles, not with ramen-like noodles. There was no real flavor to them. $34 for noodles and rotten shrimp. A Thai restaurant messing up pad thai is like an Italian restaurant messing up spaghetti.
It figures, though. When most of your clientele are tourists, then you can get away with selling garbage. It is not as if you need to cultivate repeat business.
Save your money and your small intestine and head over to Weera Thai.
At one point reputed to be the best Thai restaurant in the country, Lotus of Siam’s signature location at the Red Rock Casino ultimately does not meet lofty expectations. The start was promising - the Thai Salad was fresh and the peanut dressing was spot on fresh and nutty. Crispy Chicken Lollipops were a generous 4 drumettes perfectly crispy and coated in a sweet sauce that could easily overshoot but was just right. The Tom yum soup was serviceable with the shrimp protein the highlight but too sour and out of balance with the spicy and savory profiles. The Pad Thai was well done but the garlic pepper pork was bland and the Khao Soi was too sweet and heavy, the sauce drowning out everything. Dessert was solid. If you palette does not enjoy strong flavors, LoS is not for you. Service was professional but felt a bit oversell, tempting diners to over order instead of accompaniments that fit the meal. The Prix fixe at $50 is a good value.
What a disappointment my husband and I have been waiting to try this place for past six months menu looks wonderful, but the food is tasteless and flavorless and they’re trying to get people sick, with spoiled shrimp. The shrimp in both of my meals, pineapple fried rice and shrimp pad Thai was spoiled. The texture was mush and pasty. the crispy duck curry tasteless, the duck was nothing but skin and fat and the curry didn’t had no flavor at all. Just coconut milk, what a waste of $42 dollars, plus it doesn’t come with rice. $10 additional fee for side order of rice really. Riceeee $10 hmmmmmm. From the pineapple fried rice, the crispy duck with red curry, tasteless, flavorless, over priced and nothing but a disappointment and waste of my money. The only good thing on the menu is the shrimp and chicken fry wontons, the ambience is beautiful, but it’s not worth the price if you looking for a flavorful food. This is not the place to try disappointment if I wish could get my money back. Plus who use Ramen noodle noodles, for shrimp pad Thai dish, really!!!!!!! that costs $35 dollars. Secondly, $42 for crispy duck red curry and it comes with no rice you have to pay an addition $10 for rice on the side highway robbery over price meals/flavorless nonsense never again. Which Thai chef is in the kitchen because clearly this is not it.

Hostess sat us down 20min before 11pm (closing time) and the server seemed a bit annoyed by getting another table, first thing she greeted us with was:"the kitchen's closing in 7min (??) and you need to order everything right now)", handed us menus, walked away for less than 2min then came back asking for our order, we hadn't even explored the food menu yet. Understandable, it's the end of the night and everyone wants to go home.
Needless to say, food quality was not up to our expectations, dishes are quite small and overpriced, ordered the Seafood Po Thun which only came with one shrimp, one mussel, one quarter of a crab leg and a couple of small fish pieces. The ceviche was ok, the chicken sa-tay was dry and flavorless. My girl had the sliced ribeye steak, and while the preparation and taste were impressive, the texture was not it, the steak was extremely chewy.
Lastly, as soon as the food hit the table, the server took it upon herself to drop the dessert menu (probably signalling for us to gtfo or something). I told my girl to eat as fast as she could, we asked for the check and left while two other tables that were there before we even sat down were still there and mingling.
We had this place in our to-do list for the longest and now that we've tried it, we will, unfortunately, not return due to the aforementioned reasons. I hope there's significant improvement in the future.
We were so looking forward to this meal and from the appetizers to the entrees it was beyond disappointing. We had the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai and both had zero flavor. They were mushy and flavorless. What a let down. This restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in the country, and I can tell you that it was the most flavorless meal I've had in years. The restaurant itself is stunning in its decor and design, but save your money for any of the other local favorites when you are craving Thai.
Amazing food here so impressed! For my wife and I it was definitely a 5 star experience from the atmosphere, service, and food. If you enjoy Thai food this place is a must!
everything was so good the food the service, we will definately be going back soon
Dishes to small
Personable staff which makes recommendations with care. Great for a quick cocktail and bite at the bar or dinner with the whole family. Recommend a reservation. Chili basil is great. I love the drunken noodles and fried rice as well. Some of the cocktails are small overall portions, but well crafted nonetheless. Ambiance and setting are great and contemporary. Prices are reasonable.
Have eaten here before and the food is always great, maybe a little overpriced but very good. Service is the same, no complaints but this visit while having family in town made a late lunch reservation for 2:45 and we arrived at 2:47 (time of family photo on arrival) the female staff member on arrival immediately seemed put out . and annoyed telling us we were late. Ok 3 minutes but literally 5 people counted in the restaurant. Then she proceeded to tell us she would oh so kindly seat us but we had to place our order within the next 5 minutes! So apparently, although no posted online nor explained when making reservations, they close after lunch then reopen for dinner. The lack of customer service and rude staff literally took my visiting family off gaurd. Needless to say, as a local, we will never be back, this food is readily available throughout our city with much better service. We will also never recommend again to any visitors
Our expectations were high since we love the LOS in Las Vegas so much. However, we were told this location is not affiliated with the Vegas restaurant despite having almost identical menu offerings. That is it's only similarity though. The service was slow and inconsistent in spite of the managers assurance we had the best waiter in the restaurant. My order, directly off the menu with no special requests, had to be clarified several times. I ordered a soda during the appetizers but didn't receive it until I had almost finished dinner, even after repeated requests. My meal was overcooked and contained very little chicken. I had to continuously ask for the rice I ordered with my meal. Dessert was a disappointment. It had little resemblance to pineapple upside-down cake and was dry and flavorless. Overall, the experience was not something we wished to repeat.
I don’t care what anybody says (at this current 3.5 star rating), I’d rate Lotus of Siam a 5. I have been here multiple times now and the food is consistent and delicious. The service is outstanding. From the manager who I saw can turn anything negative to a positive, to all the waiters who are so attentive. This is the dining experience that meets my expectations.
My expectations were low as heard wasn’t as good as original? 2020 happened and some people lost it, wonder why restaurant competition is getting worse and people want to open up ghost kitchens. This place had a great ambience, really nice for Summerlin and food is best Thai in Summerlin. Some better places outside of it but value and location can’t beat. Would go back and don’t know where other people are going around here with the rating they gave this place.
Awesome meal. Great location, see why it’s been around for ~20 years. Waiter was great, even included the somaliere for a good Riesling which paired well with the food. Lots of spice choices, on the side, in case you need spicier.
Hidden charges at this restaurant!!!
Honestly, the restaurant was nice, the service was great, but I’ve been going to Lotus for years, just not this one, and the prices are higher while the sizes are smaller.
The dish I normally get was almost 5 dollars more money in this restaurant, and the one that I get at the other one is normally 2 1/2 meals for me where with this one (that I spent more money on) I left hungry.
On top of that, if you are going to charge for rice, TELL PEOPLE. Rice is so cheap that after charging so much for a dish, it should come with rice. On top of that, if you do not tell people about a hidden charge, that charge comes out of your servers tips. So it shows you do not care about your customers, or your staff.
I will 1000% be going to Lotus again, but not this Lotus, which was upsetting because the food reminded me of the food at the one that was shut down for a little bit.
This place is so beautiful I love the setting, perfect for pictures. The deserts were amazing ! Joey and Rogelio attended us, they did an awesome job and were very professional.
Came here to celebrate my friends birthday everything was delicious. I had the pad thai and nua nam tok (my fav). The service was GREAT. Shout out @loabin and @lotusofsiam_redrock
The restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was exceptionally courteous and accommodating. Despite the unfamiliar menu, the waitress kindly explained the various dishes and even provided excellent recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this establishment.
All the food came out together for our large party so it made the table very crowded. Some of the food items were not hot because of this.
The manager seemed reluctant to provide any resolution until we pressed the issue several times.
Ultimately no discount or remade food.
They offered a couple of drinks the next time... ?!?!
The restaurant is decorated nicely and ambience is good but on the dark side. We were there for a large family dinner with 2 tables (16 of us which included 5 kids). No separate kids menu but they provided crayons and coloring sheets. Service by the wait staff was exceptional- wait staff was attentive and got all of our drink requests and food order. Overall the food was very good but many of the dishes were salty so I had to reduce a star.
1. Garlic Crispy Prawns- prawns themselves were very good- not overcooked so the texture was nice. Each prawn comes which the shell which is seasoned and fried crispy. Almost like a chip you could eat the shell but the seasoning was a little salty for my taste.
2. Som Thum- the salad was very good. I thought the cabbage pieces were a bit large and didn’t have a knife to cut down into smaller bite size pieces. Sauce was exceptional! Asked for mild and it was perfect- slightly spicy but not too much. One of my favorite dishes tonight!
3. Pad See Ew- got the beef. Did not try myself but all the kids enjoyed the dish.
4. Chilean sea bass in the Tom Yum Soup- I love Chilean sea bass and this dish did not disappoint. There were plenty of pieces of sea bass in the soup. Soup was good but more on the salty side than the sour side. A little bit salty for my taste.
5. Khao Soi- this dish had duck. Got it mild but did not try this dish. Others seemed to enjoy the dish but I’m not a fan of duck.
6. King crab fried rice- buttery and the hint of lime was a nice touch. Generous pieces of king crab throughout the rice. Probably one of my favorite dishes tonight!
7. Chicken wings- got these for the kids and they loved it.
8. Scallops- also did not try this dish but others who did said it was a bit on the salty side.
9. Desserts: fried banana with ice cream, pineapple upside down cake, mango sticky rice, chocolate cake with espresso ice cream. Only tried the mango sticky rice and the rice was salty. A bit of salty and sweet for this dessert but too salty for my taste. Espresso ice cream was good too- texture and flavor was nice.
10. Drinks- Butterfly. Was a little more sour than I was expecting. This is a non-alcoholic drink. We also got Lemon and chamomile teas at the end with our desserts. Lemon tea tasted like lemon rinds in hot water but the chamomile tea was nice.
Last night we went for dinner here and it was a fun experience. As a fan of Thai cuisine, I was pleased by the flavorful dishes served at this establishment. The restaurant's ambiance was truly captivating, with bamboo walls, an intricately carved wooden door, and a stunning statue of a Thai goddess at the check-in desk.
The interior was beautifully decorated with basket lamps, brick walls, and hanging potted planters, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The combination of booths and tables provided a comfortable dining experience, complemented by a DJ spinning groovy tunes in the background. The service was great, with attentive staff members who were knowledgeable and eager to enhance our dining experience.
The highlight of the meal was the Green salad with Peanut dressing, which offered a delightful explosion of flavors that was a real treat. The main course, featuring Pad Thai noodles and Thai fried rice, was very tasty, although the tofu was a bit bland for my liking. For dessert, we indulged in the Chocolate Thai cake, which had a good flavor but was slightly dry.
Overall, Lotus of Siam is a fun and cool place to dine, offering good food and a great atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Las Vegas.
Lotus of Siam offers a delightful Thai dining experience, with a menu that impresses from start to finish. The cocktails were expertly crafted, providing the perfect start to our meal. The fried prawns were crispy and flavorful. The green papaya salad was refreshingly vibrant, balancing sweet and tangy flavors beautifully. The beef Panang curry was rich and aromatic, with tender beef that melted in the mouth. The pork drunk noodles were a standout, with just the right amount of spice and a delightful mix of textures.
The experience was truly enjoyable, thanks to the excellent service and attention to detail from the staff. They ensured every aspect of our meal was perfect, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit.
The restaurant also boasts plenty of parking spots, making it convenient for diners. Given its popularity, reservations are strongly recommended to secure a table at this fantastic establishment. Lotus of Siam is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious thai food and impeccable service.
Lotus Of Siam you got to do better. I have had nothing but good experiences in the past but, on this visit I did not have the best experience and felt that I was profiled. When I say at the bar the waitress turned around and seemed startled as if she expected someone else to be sitting at the bar. Although she had a welcoming presence and a great customer service, I asked for drink. She made the drink and serviced me. At this time there were few ppl at the bar. I informed her that I would take the drink and order to go. While waiting to order other patrons came in and sat around the bar, majority white customers, with a couple that was mixed. Since I had been sitting there first I had placed my order before anyone pretty much decided to place an order. She went on and serviced everyone with her great customer service skills. While waiting I’m noticing everyone that has placed an order after me has orders arriving and I’m still waiting on my order. It hard been about 22mins since I had ordered, so I asked where is my order, and stated that ppl who placed to go orders after me have already gotten their orders. She replied “I’m not sure but let me check” she then came back and said “my manager is checking on the order”. I said ok, and waited patiently about 5mins and my order came out. Now! At the bar I was the only black man besides the couple that was a mixed couple but were older in age. I’m not young but I’m not old either and have a more hip style to my appearance, when I looked around even the guy that was that sat next to me, who had order at least 15mins after received his before me. I did not take kindly to that, mainly because, again! I had been at the bar at least 5-10mins before everyone that received there food before me. Also not my food was take out, the review is not about the bartender, she was actually ok. I even tipped her $20, but I feel that I was profiled and back burned for others, based on a stereotype. Why would it take me longer to get my food when ppl placed their order after me and I had a simple basic order. Nothing about my order was complicated, I feel they stereotyped based on the color of my skin as well as not the look of their ideal customer. I was dressed very clean but with a more street look, but I would suggest you don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I also noticed that she waited to run my card for whatever reason, but did not do the same to others doing take out order. Again this is not about the bartender, but I just notice small discrepancies that others did not face. All in all, Lotus Of Siam I understand you cater to a more upscale crowd, but my money is just as good as everyone else’s, what I ordered I can pay for without a doubt, and this experience has caused me to question how you categorize and view customers.
Had a great time with my girls for Sunday Brunch! Our server Mariah, was really attentive and gave great suggestions! Favorite food items were the Khao Soi with Short Rib and Lotus Ceviche! I want to come back for the Party brunch! Heard it was lots of fun!
Lots of drama behind the scenes. Reputations start with the staff. What would the last ten servers and cooks say about their experience? Your focus can't possibly be food. Get back on track.
Had a great experience! I’ve been back multiple times and each experience was great. The food and service always amazing!
Just Inside the Red Rock Casino, convenient for dine in or take out. I loved the shrimp appetizer.
Space looks great and location is convenient for Summerlin locals. Unfortunately, the food quality and service aren’t even close to that of its other locations. Feels like they are banking on the reputation of the name, but delivering a subpar experience.
We're locals who try supporting the restaurants around us. This was the second time dining at Lotus of Siam Red Rock. The first time was fabulous with four of us. This time......not so much. The food itself was good. We had the peanut chicken salad, lollipops, and egg rolls. DH had a beer, and I had a house margarita. Bill was $76.94. Margarita was 16.00, Corona Extra was 9.00. The complaint was the service. The waiter was totally disconnected. Took our order. Someone else delivered the food, and then he asked if we wanted dessert. No. So he brought the bill, looked at our empty plates, and left them. We pushed all the empty plates out to the edge. Finally a nice woman came by and picked them up. Doesn't the waiter/server need to interact further? Why would this person deserve a tip of 18-20% when all he did was take our order. We will not be returning. Note: A woman (probably 35) dressed in jeans, sandals, and a trendy jacket was walking the area the entire time. Was she the manager??? If so, she needs to do a better job than walk around. Most managers would be Johnny on the spot, helping and checking tables. This isn't a take out restaurant, this is a nice restaurant in Red Rock Casino. We did notice the restaurant wasn't as full as the first visit. Maybe the locals have figured this out.
To expensive. Just one meal with tea was $43 total crazy
Pick up order was missing rice to eat with chicken green curry. That was not good.
Went for a birthday. The food and service were great. Veggie spring rolls on point. Fried rice was flavorful. Service was great!
Great room and front of house staff. The fried chicken lollipops and salad were pretty good. The entrees were barely edible, hard burnt salmon, and fishy hard soft shell crab. The loud thumping house music didn’t help the nausea.
Everything was great the service was great loved the food it arrived at a timely matter the atmosphere is sooo pretty and cozy great for birthday parties I will come again !!!!!
For the past 2 years, whenever we go to Las Vegas, we always make reservations at either Lotus of Siam on Flamingo or Red Rock. We love the food and the people that work at Lotus of Siam. We have eaten almost the same thing during the past 2 years. This next trip, we will be trying different items from Lotus of Siam.
Delicious food, great ambiance & friendly staff
Title: Delightful Dining Experience at Lotus of Siam
During our stay at the Red Rock Hotel and Casino, we had the pleasure of dining at Lotus of Siam, and it was a truly delightful experience.
The crispy duck was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. We also tried the softshell crabs, which were delicious, although a bit on the smaller side as you only get two. The squid was another highlight, tender and well-seasoned.
For dessert, we indulged in the crispy banana spring rolls, which were absolutely amazing. They were the perfect combination of crispy and sweet, making for a memorable end to our meal.
The ambiance at Lotus of Siam is also worth mentioning. The lighting was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Lotus of Siam provided a fantastic dining experience with a variety of delicious dishes and a lovely ambiance. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Red Rock Hotel
Food was amazing!
The service was outstanding, it was my first time here and I’m in love! I can’t wait to come back.
This was such a beautiful experience!!! Out with the ladies and it was such a beautiful time! The service was absolutely awesome. Felt incredibly welcome. I would come here again and again!
This place is amazing!
I love to come here with my girls, enjoy amazing food and delicious drinks!
This place was such a vibe and the food is amazing! Service was great and the restaurant is so pretty, my girlfriends and I had a great time. Cant wait to try the brunch!
Food and service was incredible. Thank you Lotus for providing an incredible atmosphere!!
The food fresh and delicious and amazing service . I will definitely recommend this place to come with friends or partner . Personally , can’t wait to come back soon !
Note to self do not eat here or other location again.
We decided to try this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The ambience is very nice however the spring roll appetizer was not fresh and stale. The food was just okay but nothing to be excited about. We just like to see their decor which is nice. Our waitress was nice and attentive however the hostess at the entrance is kind of snotty!! For party of three, we spent about $130+tip for not so great Thai meal. We’re not coming back for sure!!
The flavors are authentic and vibrant, with each dish crafted to perfection. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!
They have the best martinis & the service is always great. We usually get the vegetarian dishes and love them. Very beautiful ambiance as well.
Lotus of Siam at Red Rock off the Las Vegas strip is amazing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were delicious especially the Thai basil mojito and espresso martini! And The food was top tier, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors.
Highly recommended for an authentic Thai dining experience.
Lotus of Siam is a true gem. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The drinks were exceptional, especially the Thai basil mojito, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish, from the Tom Yum soup to the Pad Thai and Green Curry, was bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with elegant Thai decor and a relaxing ambiance.
Overall, an exceptional dining experience that I highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine.
Friends hyped this place. Had to wait 10 minutes to be seated with reservation, half empty restaurant. Food was pretty terrible. Steak was awful and not eaten. Let the server know, no apology. This is not it. Terrible experience.
After getting multiple recommendations for this place from friends, we decided to go to celebrate our engagement anniversary while in town. I think we just didn't choose the right dishes. Our friends had all recommended menu items we had never tried so it was a true taste testing experience. Unfortunately, we just didn't care for what we picked. The food (I'm sure) is delicious, it just wasn't our palate. I would like to go back and try some less rich food along with a few Thai dishes I know well. Our waitress was just lovely and helped walk us through ordering. The ambiance was pretty perfect.
This is the first time I did not give 5 stars. I asked for a coconut/rum drink. Instead I received 80% pineapple juice. Not only was the food just average it was served barely warm. Very disappointed last night. Waiter was wonderful
Excellent service really nice atmosphere
but all the food we order today salty
Perhaps chef had really bad day ? 🙏
We've been here a few times and usually love coming here but lately the hosts and hostesses in front have not been very friendly or welcoming. Tonight when we approached the podium to check in for our reservation, neither of them acknowledged us. We stood there staring at them and when they finally looked up we were greeted with unfriendly faces that looked like we were bothering them. We arrived early for our Thursday evening reservation and were seated 25 minutes late when it wasn't even that busy. When we finally got seated there were a lot of empty tables next to us and there was no reason for the long wait. We ordered a few items to share. One of the items is the fried snapper for $105. They told us it comes with dipping sauces but were NOT told that those sauces were an extra $6 charge. I think for a dish that expensive the sauces should be included. If we knew about the extra charge then we could have skipped them (they weren't even that good). Our waiter, Barry, and the bus boy (didn't get his name) were amazing though so that saved our visit.
Good
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is incredible. The green curry and ceviche were a hit at our table. Fresh, flavorful, and amazing service.
Dined here recently and absolutely loved the food! The garlic prawns were amazing! I’ve never had anything like it before but will definitely be recommend to everyone to try. The service was great, our server was very informative and helpful. And the ambiance was really nice. Very picture worth. The vibe was cozy and romantic great for date night or a girl group.
Food was great. The Tum Yum noodles were good. The lollipops were interesting, a little too much lemongrass for me(some people who like sour would love it.) The pork dish was amazing. Tender and Juicy. I dont actually remember the name but Aaron recommended it. Wonderful Server
overpriced - charges extra for the rice even lol - your curries wont come with it. so so food.
Me and the girls
Went for dinner last night and had a great time . The food was amazing so fresh and delicious. The ambience is so pretty and the service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back .
Love the vibe of this place! The food was delicious and the service is top notch as well! Shoutout to Jared for being so attentive to our group of 6 🙌
Went here for dinner last night and the food was delicious. The ambiance was stunning, great for photo ops and service was top notch. Highly recommend!
I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Lotus! This was my third visit, but it inspired me to write my first review because it was just that good. The crispy garlic prawn, complete with its shell, might sound unusual, but it's a delicacy that's definitely worth trying. Trust me, it's delicious—eat the shell! I also had the Pad See Ew with added shrimp, which boasted a great flavor profile. The service was amazing, the ambiance was wonderful, and the cocktail was delicious. It was a perfect choice for date night. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Thanks for a memorable evening @louabin @lotusofsiam_redrock!
This restaurant made our girls night out exceptional! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with kindness. The atmosphere was very lovely with a wide range of options for scenery. Our server Nick was very accommodating with dietary restrictions (gluten free) and very knowledgeable about the menu! I had the Garlic pepper sauce dish with the salmon and it was AMAZING! You are able to choose a protein of your choice with the dish and there was a wide range of options. For dessert we had shared the banana spring rolls and although we were already full we still ate the entire dish! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family for both casual dining and special occasions!
One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! The food was wonderful, (I highly recommend the garlic prawns as a starter) they have a large menu and offer many options for anyone with dietary restrictions, the service from all of the employees was exceptional, and most of all, the atmosphere is very lovely. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous and is an entire experience in itself. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who’s looking for a relaxing or romantic evening out and wants to enjoy some fantastic food!
I visited the newly opened location of Lotus of Siam at Red Rock, and I was transported back to Thailand! The atmosphere was so inviting with beautiful decor, and they had the friendliest staff! We made reservations on OpenTable, and came on a Sunday at 6pm, and it was moderately busy. We ordered the deboned deep fried snapper (must try 10/10), crispy rice which was almost like a salad but very interesting textures ans flavor (10/10), garlic prawns- to die for! (10/10), curry with duck and noodles- not used to my duck being soggy but it was still good (8/10), crab fried rice had huge pieces of crab and very flavorful (10/10), papaya salad (8/10), & for dessert we had mango sticky rice, but there was more rice than mangoes and it was a very small mango (7/10). We ordered 3 thai coffees, spent less than $300, and called it a night! I'd definitely come back for the prawns, crab omelet and crispy rice! Happy Eats ✌️
Enjoyable night with great food and service!
Great food and experience.
@louabin and @lotusofsiam_redrock
This was my first time trying Thai food. I'd say this is where opportunity meets deliciousness. We had a large group and regardless of our order we had an amazing opportunity and privilege to meet chef Gonzalo at our table. He specifically sent out a large order of continuous menu items.
All 8 of us where amazed with the quality and savory goodness! Definitely coming back. Great location!
Food was incredible and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is 10/10 and the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous! Very impressed, try this place now!!!
The perfect place for a fabulous night out with my ladies. Started with The Butterfly mocktail which was so beautiful and delicious. Our fave main dishes were the garlic prawns, and khao soi. Don’t forget the mango sticky rice for dessert! The sticky rice was cooked perfectly and it wasn’t too sweet. I’m a sucker for matcha, so had to try the matcha green tea flan - amaaazing.
Service and ambiance were on point. They treated us like queens and were so helpful in explaining the dishes.
Lotus in RedRock was amazing their retractable roof is everything. Garlic prawns are unbeatable, ordered the Khao Soi and it was delicious. If you’re looking for the perfect summer cocktail try the Hot in the Shade, Lotus of Siam RedRock did not disappoint!
Quite possibly the best Thai Restaurant in Summerlin. Excellent food, ambience and service. Definitely our go to place here for Thai cuisine.
Great dinner @lotusofsiam_redrock. The service was prompt and friendly while the food was amazing as always. I've been to a different location but the vibes and food are the same. @louabin is running an amazing location and our server John was a delight to have for the night. The Tom yum chicken soup and the crispy duck are to divine. Would definitely come back again for another special occasion.
When we entered the venue, we were immediately greeted and taken back to our table for our reservation. Our server, Barry, was wonderful and got our drink orders and appetizers put in while we looked over our entree options. Our appetizers were amazing, especially the lollipops! And the crispy duck in yellow curry was AMAZING - the duck was cooked perfectly and was so delicious! Good music playing over the loudspeaker, good mood lighting during dinner and great food made for a wonderful friends outing!
@louabin @lotusofsiam_redrock
Great Thai restaurant in the Red Rock Resort Hotel and Casino.
I've not been to the other Lotus of Siam restaurants, but I found this one quite satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive (though my extra spice on the side request was lost). Our water glasses were either never empty or not empty for long. The empty plates were bussed quickly.
I had the Lychee Blossom Cocktail to start. It was very refreshing and moderately sweet. I don't normally enjoy overly sweet drinks, and this was good enough for me to order another.
I highly recommend going with a small group and eating family style to enjoy as many different flavors as possible.
For appetizers we ordered fried chicken wontons, dad deaw, Nam prik hed, and koong sarong. The wontons were well fried, and the filling was delicious, albeit a bit scarce. The dad deaw was well seasoned, perfectly chewy, and the accompanied sauce had just the right sweetness and spice to compliment it. The koong sarong were perfectly fried and the shrimp were at the most appropriate doneness. The Nam prik head I ordered on a 7/10 spice level and it was just on the edge of being too spicy for the rest of my group, though we all enjoyed it. It came with plenty of vegetables with which to enjoy the dish.
For dinner we ordered the pad thai with chicken, crispy duck, khao soi with pan fried seabass, and Thai basil chili stir fry with ribeye instead of ground meat. The pad thai was well cooked and had a delicious sauce. I dislike sauces that are thin and red and with too much sweet flavor. This was well balanced with just the right nuttiness. The crispy duck was tender and juicy with an enjoyable crunch of the edge. The khao soi was the favorite dish of everyone at the table. Rich and creamy, the crispness and mildness of the seabass was a great addition. I think something even crisper like soft shell crab (which was one of the two recommended proteins) would've also been great. The thai basil with ribeye was well balanced and the steak was cooked just as we'd asked.
To end our meal we ordered crispy banana spring rolls and Chai voisier. The spring rolls were indeed crispy and the banana was still firm and accompanied by a cold cream. The voisier was also moderately sweet, though a great addition to enjoy with the spring rolls.
I'd definitely enjoy coming back and trying more items on the menu.
As my friend & yelper Justin G. says, "charging for rice is ghetto."
I came here because I saw the photo of a soft shelled crab covered in jalapenos and thought it looked good. Unfortunately, that dish can't be made gluten-free.
While the menu lists what is gluten-free and what is vegetarian, what they do NOT list is rice as a side dish.
I ordered the chili basil with chicken for $19. The waiter said, "white, brown, or sticky?" He did not say, "would you like to add rice for an additional $5 charge?"
Not only was I surprised that the rice was very cool and felt old, my husband and I both ordered sticky rice and were shocked to see $10 for rice on our bill.
No where on the menu does it say rice isn't included in the meal, so why would I assume I'm going to be charged for it?
If a side of rice is not listed on the menu as an item to order, why would I assume I need to pay for it separately? Thai curries are served over rice. This is the equivalent of ordering a pizza and getting a bowl of toppings because you didn't order the crust separately. Imagine a hamburger restaurant charging an additional $5 for a bun because they don't disclose on their menu that a hamburger is the patty and toppings only.
It's nickel and diming customers. What next, charging for onions because the menu doesn't say onions are included in your dish? Why stop at rice? Why not charge $500 for rice?
Undisclosed charges is automatically a 1 star regardless of how nice the restaurant looks or that they could accommodate my Celiac disease with a gluten-free option.

This place is shady. A bowl of rice isn't listed anywhere on their dinner menu, yet when ordering an entree, the server asks for your spice level and choice of rice. They fail to mention that the rice is an additional $5 charge and not included with the curry nor the other entree we were already ordering. We only found out when we saw the additional $10 charge on the bill. Not coming back!
Update your hours on google.
I first heard about this restaurant several years ago from co-workers and because of this, I've always wanted to try this restaurant (before it arrived at the Red Rock location). After the Red Rock location was built, I kept telling my family that I need to try it one day, but I never got around to it. Also, since my daughter is allergic to peanuts, I have a tendency to keep her away from Thai-inspired restaurants because of their robust usage of peanuts and cashews in their entrées. I know that Lotus of Siam does a wonderful job of asking everyone in the party of their allergies, if any...but for me, I'm just overly paranoid for my daughter.
When you walk up (and in) to the restaurant, you can't help but notice the elegant décor...this is typical considering the restaurant is located inside one of Station's luxurious properties. You're immediately greeted by the friendly hostesses (well, at least that was the case on the evening of 7 Apr 2024). My wife and I were seated instantly (we had reservations), and I was highly appreciative of them sitting people at every other table until the restaurant started getting busier. I'm not a fan of those restaurants that like to place everyone in one section, next to each other, even though the entire restaurant is empty...sorry, I like my space, if attainable.
Our main server did a great job the entire night...I forgot his name, but I'm going to assume the name on the receipt (Elrich) is accurate. He was very attentive and moved very quickly the entire evening. In fact, of noteworthy mention, I noticed all servers were moving quickly and efficiently during the entire visit! Within a respectable time frame, our server took our drink order, followed with our food order several minutes afterwards. Our drinks were the Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc (SB) and Lychee Blossom. Aside from the SB tasting magnificent, I won't elaborate too much on the wine. The star drink of the table was clearly the Lychee Blossom (okay, maybe that's a little biased opinion since it was my drink, but it was phenomenal nonetheless). That Lychee Blossom is easily in my Top 5 specialty drinks of all time, and in my Top 3 (if not the first place winner) of all Lychee-centric drinks I've had in my life.
For our entrées, we ordered the Chicken Green Curry w/Sticky Rice, Koong Sarong, and Chicken Pad Thai. I've had bacon-wrapped shrimp on several occasions, but this style of bacon-wrapped shrimp with wonton wrappers (Koong Sarong) brought it to a whole new level. The flavors of the Green Curry and Pad Thai were extraordinary! I loved how fresh it all tasted along with all the ingredients that accompanied both dishes. The one thing I was shocked about is how the rice doesn't come with the curry - I had to pay a side order of sticky rice for $5. Definitely didn't lose any sleep over it but it is shocking that an Asian-inspired business wouldn't include their main staple as part of the meal. Coming from an Asian dude, I was slightly disappointed with that - oh well, life goes on. This is a great restaurant for a date night; however, it wouldn't be my first pick to bring a big family that is starving, or a bunch of people looking to get massive amounts of food at a cheaper rate (like those conventional Thai restaurants). Keep in mind that this restaurant screams elegance and is situated in Red Rock Resort and Casino, so eat a banana or a ham sandwich before coming here, if you're one of those heavy eaters - you have been warned. Otherwise, I feel that the portions are adequate, especially when you consider what is a respectable portion size for humans.
Overall, I enjoyed the first-time experience and I can definitely see myself visiting another time since there were so many entrées that were catching my attention. The price-to-quantity/quality considering the location, was adequate/reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Went for a date night and loved it.❤️ The Panang Curry was so flavourful. I would definitely return
The khao soi with beef rib was fantastic.
Honestly - we were back and forth deciding on whether or not to come here based off the low rating compared to the other restaurants around. We decided to try anyways, and I am SO glad we did.
Don’t let the lower reviews deter you! I got the pad see ew with sliced beef, which was delicious, and my partner got the khao soi curry with short ribs and both plates were entirely cleaned at the end of the meal.
Service was amazing - both the host and our server were incredibly friendly and attentive. Meals came quick, and drinks were full.
The atmosphere is spacious beautifully done.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for some delicious Thai food!
I go to Lotus of Siam every time I visit Vegas. It is delicious and really fragrant Thai food. There is 1 dish that never fails for me: crappy garlic Prawns. Omg - it’s heaven on earth. These come with shell-on but do not, I repeat do not order them without shells. You will be disappointed. The shells are fried to perfection and so crispy that it’s like eating fried chicken skin. And nothing is pokey on the shells - everything is edible! The sauce and flavor of the shrimp literally blow my mind each time. It’s complex with perfect blend of garlic and saltiness and umami.
This time, I ordered the Tom Kha soup in a hot pot. The flame was crazy high. People were commenting that they should’ve brought marshmallows lol. But the soup was really good - really nothing spectacular. The ground chicken larb salad was refreshing. I like the mint and lime combination but they supplement it with big pieces of cabbage. I didn’t like how much lettuce and cabbage there was on the dish.
Previous times, I’ve had the crunchy rice appetizer - I like it but my husband hates it. And I’ve also had the khao soi with duck. It is delicious but really filling so beware of ordering this with a bunch of other dishes.
Great food & excellent service
I’ve gone here a couple times and the biggest issue this place has is food consistency. Their crispy shrimp has been prepared different ways (I did NOT like this last time where the shells were not really separated, just scrunched up). Fried rice taste was also different this last time (more of a curry flavor). I will say that the service is good and attentive to your needs.
The worst food! Do not eat here! Terrible food. So disappointed. The food had no flavor!!!!
I celebrated w/my girls for my Birthday last Saturday. It was an amazing day! John the manager was so friendly and accommodating, he went out of his way to make sure my day was special. The hostesses/servers were great and the food and music was wonderful. Thank you John we will be back😉 Lennie C
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately the food is hit or miss at best. The curries and soups were flavorful but the noodle dishes were not so great. I had overcooked duck, dry chicken, and overcooked noodles. It gets three stars because I think the soup and curry dishes were great - Well seasoned and slurp worthy. The dessert was also good. I would not however, go back. At least not to this location, I would try the other one maybe.
Very nice restaurant, however the price and portions were so small(and it was supposed to be shareable). Food was mediocre. Was very disappointed after spending $100+ for 2 people.
Great place for a drink and the ambiance. but they should invest more in the cook)) food was terrible, the salad very dry. main courses didn't look fresh. nothing like real thai food. also, i had street food that tasted better )) but the dj plays nice music. so only a place for a drink.
We had reservations for 630 and they were running behind. The hostess was very kind and explained this, and we sat at the bar to relax.
Once seated, they were so kind to comp us 2 drinks. I haven't been to this location yet as I had been to the original location years ago.
We had the drunken noodles, beef sa'tay, garlic Chilean sea bass and crispy duck Red curry.
The red curry and beef sa'tay were astonishing. I would go back just for those 2 items.
For drinks, we tried the old fashioned and espresso martinis. 5 stars for the entire meal.
First off - amazing food and atmosphere!! The dining room service was also fantastic - 5 stars for all that.
Only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 is that we called ahead of time on Tuesday as a large group (9) to make a reservation for Saturday night. Given our parties size, they told us they’d call us back to let us know if they could accommodate us or not. We did not receive a call and tried calling them multiple times throughout the week, each time not being able to connect with the restaurant (dial tone all the way to VM). Luckily we came on Saturday and they were able to accommodate us, albeit an hour later because they had to rearrange the dining room after a brunch event.
If this communication were improved, this would be 5 stars all the way!
We really loved the layout and interior design of this Lotus location. However, we had just eaten at the Las Vegas location earlier that week and the problems with Red Rock were glaringly obvious. First, the service was pretty much awful. Our waiter couldn't remember a thing. He forgot things we ordered. When we mentioned it to him he still forgot. We asked for more drinks, he forgot. Just awful. Next was the food itself. For Milwaukee, this would be a five star Thai restaurant. For Las Vegas this was simply good. And, what's up with putting baby corn in the food? That is so not Thai. The chefs and the waitstaff here should have a field trip down to Flamingo to see how it is done properly.
Beautiful atmosphere which is such a contrast to the not-so-great food. Servers are very nice.
Our first time here and my husband had the green pepper chicken but it had no flavor. He had to douse it with spices he asked for. I had the Masamum duck and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Service was fantastic. Maybe the kitchen was having an off day. I don’t think I will go back. Pricey for bad food.
Ambiance - Amazing
Food - Just ok!
We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with tofu spicy level 4, pineapple fried rice 4 and drunken noodles with tofu - no spice.
For fried tofu fried rice, we were specifically told it be tofu or veggies, so we ordered tofu.
Once we received the order, we were surprised to see amount of veggies in drunken noodles event though we ordered with tofu. There were barely any noodles. It was more like entree rather than noodles.
Quantity of fried rice felt like it was low and price you pay is for their ambiance and the original location fame.
Not going back here while there are hundred other thai places that provide better food
Sat at the bar. Ordered drinks, finished the drinks, never had a chance to order anything else because the bartender NEVER came back. Got the check, and our three drinks were $65. This place sucks. Great atmosphere, terrible service, and the food’s okay (but Nittaya’s is a much better Thai food option if you’re a local). Had the food here during our last visit, and it was just okay. We were going to order food this time, but the server never gave us the time of day.
Visited my cousin in Vegas who lives close to Red Rock hotel. She suggested a few places and this place sounded good to me.
Ordered chicken chili basil 4/5, chicken lollipop 4/5, crispy duck chu-chee 5/5, fried rice 5/5 and their spicy cocktail 3/5.
Overall it was good, the service was amazing and the ambience looked really cool. I’ll come back again
