Fresh and authentic Thai cuisine and popular street food in a cozy, comfy atmosphere. We are OPEN FOR DINE IN + Takeout / Delivery
I went here for dinner tonight with my partner. The restaurant was clean, the ambiance was nice, and they were playing chill music. I am gluten free and felt there were a decent amount of options for me and that the menu was well marked. They have probiotic sodas and alcoholic kombucha, which I find to be pretty rare at a restaurant. The food came out pretty quickly, the portions were satisfactory, and everything was quite flavorful. The only complaint I had about the entire experience was that we felt very rushed and uncomfortable at the end. The server came up to us and asked if we needed anything else because they were “closing”. This combined with her hurrying us to give her our card after she dropped off the check and turning off the music made us think it was past 9, so we got up and left..but it was 8:30 when she started nudging us to leave.
I haven’t been here in a long time so a lot has changed from what I remember.
4 stars for 4 reasons
1. Majority of the dishes were pretty good but I wouldn’t say it’s great. Best dish that we ordered out of the 10+ dishes I would say was the drunken beef noodle dish and everything else is just ok. Chicken pineapple fried rice was good and the crab fried rice. Crispy duck was pretty good and super crispy
2. Price is very reasonable! We paid around 300 with tip for 10+ dishes which isn’t bad at all
3. Quantity is great! Large dishes for the main entrees
4. Fast service and good customer service for the most part, no complaints.
Minus 1 star for 1 reason
I feel like the quality has gone down ever since Covid and doesn’t taste like before. Some dishes lacked the flavor to really make the experience remarkable
Was looking for a different Thai restaurant to try so came here, after read the almost 5 star reviews.
I did read some of the reviews mentioned the dishes were no flavor & was hoping that’s not an frequent occurrence, unfortunately it happened to us 😞
Interior: plain, clean, nothing fancy.
Price: $
Location: convenient, off street parking
Alcohol service: they don’t have the liquor license anymore, only have some can cocktails.
Service: very good , friendly and efficient
Food: corn cakes blend, not much taste if you don’t dip in the cucumber sweet and sour sauce , the mixing batter tasted too much starch; chicken skewers were ok, has to eat with the peanut sauce otherwise the chicken only has curry powder flavor; chives dumplings, don’t order it, not much chives stuffed and the skin was thick and heavy ; drunken noodles with shrimp was good, tasty; floating market beef noodles flavor was ok, beef slices were chunky like beef stew & very difficult to eat, beef ball weren’t even sliced in half 😂 never had a rice noodle served with such huge pieces of beef.
Definitely recommend the owner to update kitchen staff and find a finer chef.
The restaurant has remodeled since they closed their dining area during COVID. It's very modern inside with plenty of tables for seating.
We came during lunch on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. It was so so. Not the best Drunken Noodles I've had before. It was a bit on the drier side - not enough sauce to coat the noodles. My brother ordered the Crispy Duck with Basil and that dish was actually very delicious and came out with plenty of meat! I highly recommend this dish for anyone who likes duck. My mom ordered the Floating Market Noodle Soup and it was also filled with lots of meat. It reminded us of the Vietnamese beef noodle soup.
Great inconspicuous location for great Thai. Decided to eat here based on other reviews. Amazing food and LARGE portions. The flavors are amazing. The service was quick and so friendly. The place is very popular as we noticed it fill quickly and also noted that the staff knew many of the customers by name. Highly recommend giving this place a try, you’ll be quite pleased with the food, flavors and pricing.
This is the first time I’ve eaten inside the restaurant, usually during COVID I would order take out. The dining room is super cute with lots of drink options and a full bar. The service was great and very friendly. I love their sweet corn cakes especially with the cucumber sauce that comes with it. I also got the fried tofu and a Thai iced coffee. The coffee was pre-made so you don’t get to determine how sweet it is, but I don’t mind. You get a lot of food for the money, so it will definitely last me at least another meal. They did mention that they do not have alternative milks but they were very easily able to accommodate my vegan friend and said pretty much anything on the menu could be made vegan.
We stopped in on a week night for dinner with a larger party of 6. It was quiet with not many people in the restaurant. We were promptly seated and helped. The menu had a ton of options and everything sounded good!
I ended up trying the Pad See Eu, which had a great flavor to it and a lot of Vegetables and chicken, and the panang curry, which was flavorful and had some spice to it! Both were really good.
I thought the paper bowls for dining in were a little unusual, but I was able to just get a lid and take mine to go after the meal. The wet curry with the rice was a little hazardous though. But the portions were huge, and I really enjoyed my meal. This is a great option close to home for delicious Thai, and I think we'll be back pretty regularly.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Sabai Sabai Thai restaurant in the heart of Germantown Town Center. The food was incredibly flavorful—we ordered the Pad Thai noodles and Basil Fried Rice, both of which were perfectly cooked and packed with authentic Thai flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh.
The location is great, making it a convenient spot for a meal, and street parking was surprisingly easy to find on a Sunday night. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be returning to try more dishes!
Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Thai food in the area.
We enjoyed the food and the pleasant and attentive service.
The rice was clumpy and old, very bland, no taste!! Not good quality.
Disappointing Service & Rude Management
I’ve been a loyal customer of Sabai Sabai for over 12 years, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. I placed an order and paid for extra rice, but it was missing when I picked up my food. When I called to inform them, they said they were busy and would call me back—2.5 hours later!
When the manager finally called, there was no apology, just a blunt offer to refund the $2 I paid. No courtesy gesture, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience—just indifference. A good restaurant values customer loyalty and makes an effort to make things right, but it’s clear they don’t care because they know one unhappy customer won’t hurt their business. The management is rude, dismissive, and lacks basic customer service skills.
If you’re looking for a place that respects its customers, I’d suggest going elsewhere.
I went here for dinner tonight with my partner. The restaurant was clean, the ambiance was nice, and they were playing chill music. My order was takeout, so I couldn’t rate the atmosphere with 5 stars. However, everything looked nice when I stepped inside, so I think a 4 is fair.
My main issue was with their service and the food. First, we placed our order online, so we were supposed to receive a text message when our food was ready for pickup. That text wouldn’t come for about 3 hours. Thankfully, my husband had the mind not to wait for the text and decided to go in about 20 minutes after I’d placed the order. He returned to the car with our food. However, I wanted some chili powder on the side, so I went back in to request some. The cashier informed me that they charged for that. I told her that we’d just spent $40+ on takeout from their establishment and inquired if it were possible to just throw the chilli powder in. After all, every restaurant I’ve gone to does so with takeout, or will bring the powder and the oil to your table at no additional cost. The cashier didn’t care. She reiterated that I’d have to pay. She said it was $1.06 extra. Granted, $1.06 isn’t going to break anyone’s bank, but I told her not to worry about it on principle. That just didn’t make any sense to me. (Plus, I didn’t have my wallet on me. (I’d left it in the car with my husband and it was too cold, snowy and icy outside to be running back and forth into that place.)
When I got home, I decided to try to enjoy my food despite being slightly annoyed about the charge for the chili powder. But wouldn’t you know, my food was BLAND?! I NEEDED my chili powder! I was annoyed all over again. Thankfully I was able to find some red pepper flakes in my spice cabinet to salvage my meal. But I will say I don’t know that I’ll be rushing back to their place anytime soon.
Not the same wonderful atmosphere I remember. Must be under new management. Previously, service was very professional, no longer the case. Food was good. Due to fast food atmosphere I probably won't go back or recommend to others.
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to. For context, my family and I have been ordering from Sabai Sabai for several years, and it have never once been disappointing. The red penang curry with chicken, string beans, pad thai and drunken noodles are our family favorites. These dishes always have great flavor and an amazing taste overall. The service is consistently exceptional, with friendly staff and waiters. I love this restaurant, and I couldn't reccommend it enough.
Customer service sucks! Came into the mediocre establishment to pick up an online order that I placed to not even be greeted once I approached the counter. I spoke to the Asian rude lady twice and she never spoke back then I came back in to ask for a fork to eat my food and instead of handing it to me she pointed at them and turned around and walked away. will never get another dime of my money that’s for sure! Learn customer service and how to speak to patron that are paying to eat at your mediocre ass restaurant.
Great food, excellent service.
Tried the place for the first time. The Sabai Sabai Noodles is great! Staff is great too. Very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back
Really really good! Great menu too! The quality was incredible.
We prefer carry out from this place. And are never disappointed. We got Panang Curry Tofu, Pad Thai Noodles & Drunken Noodles. Perfect to our liking.
Great spot for some excellent Thai food! 👌 I went with their Pad Thai with beef and it did not disappoint. Very fresh and delicious, also excellent service.Highly recommend!
This small restaurant was a great find. We were there when they opened. The service was very good as was the food.
I've been going here for years. I love this place. Too bad I live so far away. Some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. I always get the basil duck.
The food was tasty and portion size was great! We enjoyed all of our dishes. Our server was kind and friendly. They went above and beyond.
I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. My friends and I arrived well before closing time, only to have the cashier rudely yell at us that the kitchen was closed—30 minutes before the restaurant was supposed to close! To make matters worse, they immediately proceeded to take another party’s order right in front of us without any explanation. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was shocking. Needless to say, we won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values good customer service.
Delightful little thai restaurant with some of the best food I've had in the area
First time trying this place- delicious food, attentive service and reasonable prices. We got the drunken noodles, pad thai, and basil fried rice all w/ chicken. Delicious!
Delicious! I live 2 hours from Germantown but would gladly drive those 2 hours for their chicken sabai noodles and Pad Thai.
I have been ordering them for years; their quality has been consistent and delicious. worth the money. I learned that their chef prior to Covid moved to where I currently live; the restaurant is called Tsunami, and it is Amazing, and yet, I am often on my way home from DC, and I tend to order from Sabai. However, after last night’s order I noticed the last time that the quality was a bit shaky. of chive dumplings (they were pretty but not good and sauce that usually is the icing was terrible) and pineapple fried rice $13.95 with shrimp +6 (got 6 shrimp, 3 small cashew halves, four pineapple chunks and a ton of semi crunchy rice), I will be ordering from Tsunami. The restaurant isn’t as pretty as before Covid ( not cozy); there is no reason for me to take the trouble to get off the highway and spend $35 on Sabai any longer. It was great while it lasted😞.
The food used to be good but now its terrible, with no flavor. The customer service is so bad and very unprofessional. Definitely go get Thai food from a more worth it place, because youll probably be disappointed here.
Nice and comforting staff. Food was hot and delicious. Highly recommend
Great service. A nice variety of food items. Food tasted delicious. The portions are huge.
Wonderful thai food. One of the best thai restaurants in terms of food. Highly recommended.
This is the first time I’ve eaten inside the restaurant, usually during COVID I would order take out. The dining room is super cute with lots of drink options and a full bar. Loved the food and the waitress was really nice.
It is virtually impossible to order food by phone. So if you are driving expect to just hear a busy tone.
I went inside and called from my phone and watched while it rang busy and the employee was sitting there at the front counter doing nothing.
I explained what I had just done and he sheepishly said that’s how it is.
Some of the best curry and fried rice I've had
A simple place with flavourful food.. quick service and friendly happy staff.. can't wait to visit again
I always tried crispy basil duck in different Thai restaurants to compare. So I tried it in this restaurant. It was disappointing. Very dry meat and very little sauce. It feels like meat has been precooked and put in the fridge for a long time.
Excellent food, friendly people. AAA+++
There is plenty of secret parking behind the restaurant! Enter around the corner by Five Guys.
Mostly the taste of the foods were ok but how they treat customers were horrible. I asked about how many soft shell crabs we were going to get, they said that there’s going to be 3. So when i bought it, there were only 2. Also the veggies that came with it were very dry. The pad thai was all cut and it felt like they cooked the same thing more than once.
Excellent food and service So much I took some PadThai home with me put it in freezer and had some tonight heated up with Miso broth My kind of comfort food
Worst Thai I’ve eaten

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sabai Sabai Simply Thai in Germantown, MD, and it was an unforgettable experience! The attention to detail in every dish showcased the chef's expertise, and the flavors were simply exquisite. Don't miss out on their Mango Sticky Rice dessert—it's the perfect sweet ending to a delicious meal.
Food is amazing, service a bit slow. Green curry is perfectly spicy.
They have the best basil chicken fried rice and spring rolls!! 👌🏻Amazing ⭐️
Nice place to stop post hike for solid potion sizes and flavorful food
This place has fantastic vegan options. My wife and I have had takeout several times and it is always delicious, usually prepared ahead of the estimated time too. I've also eaten at the restaurant once and it was great service with a super fast time between ordering and getting the food.
Try the herbal tofu!
I understand the urgency of running a restaurant. The food I got was so bad that I intend to write my first feedback in my life.
The restaurant has remodeled since they closed their dining area during COVID. It's very modern inside with plenty of tables for seating.

Pad Thai is great! Kanaan jeeb is fantastic !
Dear Owner!!
I have been your customer for so long but never ever criticized your service or food. But I am really disappointed by your reaction on my last order. The man threatened me this is the most horrible experience in my entire life so bad.
Nice food but one person is very rude... He asked my sister not to come again... And he blocked her, just because she complain that there was no tofu in her dish... She already gave 3 Dollar extra for it... Disgusting man
Rarely do you find a place that is better than advertised. The website simply does not do justice to how great the food is. It is the best Thai food I have had in years! Very fresh, very flavorful, and not overly sweet or greasy. My whole family loved it. We plan to being regulars!!
Fabulous food! It is good to see that they are back to normal after the pandemic. I love their Pad Thai, it is the best I have found anywhere.
Explosion of healthy flavors. Sad to see people walk by with a bag of Panda Express beef or chicken followed by water then sugar.
Amazing food and great customer service. The crispy duck dish is tasty, and service is fast. Will definitely be coming back here.
What happened to this place?! It used to be SO GOOD! This is the 3rd time we've ordered from here in the last 3 months and it is tasteless and just GROSS. I've had the thai fried rice, the drunken noodles with shrimp and pad ka prow with chicken. Everything was BEIGE and BLAND. Ewwww....will drive the extra miles to Thai Tanium going forward.
Everyone was so polite.
The penang curry was great!
Hands down, the BEST Thai in Montgomery County, Maryland!
Sabai Sabai is by far my favorite Thai spot in the area. Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious, the portions are huge, and everyone there is friendly. I’ve only had takeout so far, so dining in is on my to-do list. I strongly recommend trying the fried green beans!
Love the food the service... My favorite place to eat thai food
They have made it more informal with paper plates and fast food style...it's not as fancy as it used to be which is sad but the food was still the best ever and there service was still A+
Amazing fresh food. With authentic flavors. Prices were so fair for the lovely quality. Promise to come again.
Food is decent but nothing extraordinary. They also serve in cheap disposable dishes, even for dining in. Not easy to eat from and creates needless trash.
The best Thai food I’ve had in a while !
Fantastic food every time
We love the food, and we love Vidal. Very professional yet extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We are visiting from Florida and have been there twice this week.
Thank you!
They were closed for 3 years due to COVID and have had to use paper goods and are not back to regular dishes yet. And I'm just going to say I didn't mind it because they were all biodegradable and if you have leftovers you just put a lid on it and go. Yes I would prefer regular dishes especially for the environment. However, it's 50/50 and it wouldn't stop me from going back there at all as the food was amazing.
We have loved Sabai Sabai and have long considered it the best restaurant in Germantown. Since COVID however they lost their wait staff and had no dine in but just carry out. Recently, they opened for dine in and we were very excited about this. However, I’m not sure if it is under new management, but they have changed to a fast casual place and now serve food in paper bowls and the place was remodeled to reflect their new vibe. The chairs are not comfortable and unfortunately we found the food was not as we remembered. We were very disappointed and don’t feel jazzed to return any time soon. It was a heartbreaking evening. If possible, bring back the previous dining room experience and culinary experience we delighted in.
Everybody loves this place because the food is so good, but I've been a regular for years because they cater to food allergies. Online ordering gives you options to make the food vegan, less oily, less salty, remove, sub or add ingredients, etc. I love the flexibility, and the service is so kind.
Also they're extremely fast, the online app says to wait 40 minutes for pickup, but they're usually ready in 15!
I also appreciate their careful packaging, they make sure that it never drips in my car.
And in November 2023, they reopened to indoor dining!
Great Thai choices, and they will adjust the spice level to match your interest!
Kitchen cooks are all Thai so cuisine is authentic.
We stopped in on a week night for dinner with a larger party of 6. It was quiet with not many people in the restaurant. We were promptly seated and helped. The menu had a ton of options and everything sounded good!

Our favorite Thai place! Food is amazing and great portions. The gentleman serving the orders (not sure what his name is) is always welcoming and friendly, this is now the only Thai place we order from due to amazing food and customer service!
First time visit. Thai iced tea, chicken satay for appitizer, duck with basil for main course, mango rice for dessert. All was excellent.
First time here with two friends. We all enjoyed the food. Delicious! The staff was great. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant- quiet background music, people speaking at lower volumes, and a relaxed feel.
Manager refuses to correct/update delivery update. Only 2 Thai restaurants in the area. Went with the other one!
If you like spicy food, this place is for you! Of course they have different heat levels, so don’t worry if you can’t handle too spicy, they will adjust for you. We got the green curry with chicken which is my absolute favorite, also got the pad kra pow, chive dumplings and mango sticky rice. Everything was fantastic!
Very Authentic Thai food! Try the crispy pork basil, real good taste and authentic compare to other Thai restaurant. Very Clean and relaxing atmosphere! Highly recommended
First time ordering, happy to see they had delivery as an option. Was told it would be about 45 minutes for delivery and they showed up within 20 minutes and the food was delicious! Definitely going to be my new Thai place.
Love this place. Food is great and they give you enough to make a second meal out of.
Food is always great with friendly service!
Currently undergoing renovations. Take out only
We order here fairly often! The pad thai is always very, very sweet. (Candy sweet!) So I was excited to see an option to choose "less sweet" for the green papaya pad thai.
It was not good. I think perhaps the sliced papaya had been salted to sweat it/ make it soft, and a rinsing step was forgotten? Or someone tripped while carrying a container of salt? It was saltier than sea water. Completely inedible.
Drunken noodles were good! Sticky rice was normal! No idea what happened to the papaya pad thai.
Unfriendly service.
Higlhly Premium priced food, but flavorless rice and colorless chicken. Really below average.
A totally ripped off.
Please do not go there, unless you want have a bad experience.
They are hopeless. I hope they sell the restaurant to a new owner that has service culture and good food culture.
Always excellent Thai food!
This place is take out only. Beware!
Great food. I eat here at least once a week. The great thing is the consistency of the food! It's always fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly. It's a must try.
The best Penang Curry in the area. Delicious and they have a rewards program so it’s actually not that expensive.
Love the Crispy Basil Pork! Consistently tasty!
Good food and price.
Always reliable. Always good :)
I had the green curry from the lunch menu today. It was soooo good! The spice level can be customized whether you like it mild or hot. You get a generous portion of thai eggplant and holy basil. I was sad to learn it no longer is served with the rice noodles they used to offer with it but it was still delicious with the jasmine rice. If you like thai, this is a great place. It's currently carry out only but parking is easy and it's worth the trip from Urbana.
Really good Thai food. The shrimp basil fried rice was delicious. I like that the shrimp tasted fresh and were cooked well. The chicken wings, chicken pad Thai, calamari and rolls were all tasty. Take out and delivery only. There was plenty of parking when I picked up my order. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
I definitely recommend drunken noodles and sabai - sabai noodles.
No dine in, take out only, maybe adding that online would be nice to inform your customers
I order the same dish about 90% of the time. I love it! This is the only place I do that. Drunken noodles with thin noodles no tomatoes. Yummy!
Take out only. Called 20 minutes before close and they had my food ready fast. Wonton were crisp and I got the Pad Kra with Tai level spice. It was the perfect level of heat to enjoy it. If you ate the chilis in the dish you'd be sweating if you wanted some extra heat.
Never disappointed with my dish choiced. Awesome
They have terrible service and the workers behave terribly. Foods also very mid
The worst staff. Simply rude with everyone.
Decided to order takeout for Valentine's Day, but the food was less than desirable. We ordered two orders of crispy spring rolls which were not hot at all; it seemed like they had been sitting.
In addition, the Pad Thai was not fresh and did not have much chicken at all. We called to inform management and we were asked to bring back the food, again on Valentine's Day. We inquired about a refund and were told only one of the items we were displeased with could be refunded, but not both. Keep in mind, we order rather frequently from Sabai Sabai and all previous experiences have been great. We understand restaurants are gonna have a bad night, but the resolution in this case was less than desirable.
oooo I like this place. There is honestly not that many good restaurants in the Germantown/Clarksburg area but this Thai spot is a good one. I ordered pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice togo. I loved it.
I was excited to try this restaurant after seeing all the other reviews, but found myself quite disappointed. I ordered the pad see ew and the food was ready within 8 minutes, which I thought was shockingly fast. After I picked up the order, I found what appeared to be a piece of a plastic bag that was cooked together with my food. It seems like they might be rushing and cutting corners to get food out the door faster. Normally, I'd write-off the piece of plastic as a fluke, but the food also wasn't particularly flavorful. It wasn't bad, but maybe some additional sauce could make it taste better. Biggest pro from this place is that the prices are reasonable, but I'd prefer to pay a few dollars more to actually get something good.
Worst service I've ever seen in a restaurant
Hands down, our favorite restaurant in Germantown! They have the best Tom Kha Gai soup I've ever tasted. Take out orders only.
Everytime we go, the quality is amazing, the portion is glorious and the customer service is amazing. Despite the difficulties of COVID, they never have any excuse to deliver an amazing meal and authentic as well!! You will not be disappointed! And affordable too!
Our family absolutely loves eating at Sabai Sabai. Food is delish, staff always kind, and our experience delightful. 💙
Food is great!
Great hidden gem in Germantown. Food is always outstanding and staff is very attentive.
Got drunken noodles and green curry--Thai spicy level
Hands down one of the best spots.. The spice level was phewwwww but the flavor hit. The. Spot.
Very popular with good Asian food. Noodles was a lil dry. Over all a good place to eat.
Good food!
Excellent Thai food, love the herbal tofu!
Very bad service but the food was good. The front desk male person was extremely rude. The lady manager was nice.
Very nice little Thai eatery in Germantown MD. Located in a street mall, the space is small but full of atmosphere. The owners put a lot into the decor and keep the place very clean, which makes for an overall nice experience. Also the service is pleasant and helpful. The menu is fairly typical for a Thai restaurant in America. The dishes are very well prepared and presented, and taste as good as they look. Although not perfectly authentic, having a bit of sweetness that most Americans seem to like and expect, they do a very good job of representing Thai food in their style of preparation and flavors. I would definitely recommend giving this establishment a try, you should not be disappointed!
Food has been greatly lately. Always up for a new dish
*Update* - we still love the food at Sabai Sabai; However, they have eliminated two of our favorite dishes from their menu - the Larb Gai and the Thai Frittata. We will need to seek those elsewhere.
We've been coming to Sabai Sabai for years and eat here at least once a month. We particularly enjoy their Larb Gai and Penang Chicken. The crispy duck is a winner, also.
It's a good place with some great Thai food! I loved the Pad Thai with shrimp and Penang curry. I also enjoyed the Pineapple rice. I think they can improve their Thai tea, it just doesn't have the authentic tea flavor. Also, would like to see more Thai Desserts in the menu.
Been going here for years. Everything on the menu is good. Like the options to pick the protein, heat and rice.
Do not go to this Thai restaurant! I do not normally write reviews but this place is Horrible ! They so over charge you for the food. I ordered Pad Thai for $12.95, and Pineapple fried rice for $13+, they then charge 3 dollars more to each dish for chicken. So that mean i will only get noodle, sauce and bean sprouts with pad Thai and for the Pineapple fried rice I’ll only get rice with pineapple. They should not charge $6 dollar more for chicken(a protein) to be included in the dish. Ok, mistake made for coming here to eat! I get the food and the food taste Horrible. The fried rice was hot but have no favor to it. The pad Thai is Horrible in every way. I read the others reviews said the food was good. The food here is not anything close to good Thai food! This place is an insult to Thai food, need to be close down.
Great food, quality customer service, one of the best Thai places in the area
Really good Thai Restaurant in Germantown downtown. The place was relatively clean and the service was very attentive and friendly. Parking can be little tricky since they don’t have a lot of them in the back of the restaurant. I ordered pad thai and beef drunken noodle. Both noodle were cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed the charred flavor in drunken noodle. Their appetizers weren’t bad either. I’m definitely coming back again to try different dishes here. My friends told me their curry dishes are really good. I highly recommend this place!
This is the best Thai food in the area, hands down. Nothing compares! Very easy to get vegan meals too which is amazing (: thank you guys!!
This is such a lovely Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and the people are kind. Definitely recommended!
Chicken penang and fried rice were delicious and tasted like the ingredients were fresh.
Food here is delicious and will come back again! Currently there is no dining option at this place as of April 2022.
I ordered the Pad see U and there was very little Chinese broccoli. In fact only few leaf’s and mostly chopped actual broccoli stalks. I order her often but this time it missed the mark. Quality of ingredients and what you see in the photos is very far from what you will get.
if i could give it 1000 stars i would hands down one of the best thai places in moco
Food is always excellent, but service needed to be improved. Especially, BENTO, the way you treat your customers is unacceptable, unprofessional. You asked for the phone number to verify, I did give it to you along with the name . Tore up the bag and give it to customers then disappear? At least, an apology for the " accident " and replaced with another bag?
Delicious!
Got takeout for Valentine's Day dinner last night and it was GREAT! My wife had the Southern Style Curry w/ Chicken and I had the Tender Grilled Salmon with the Tamarind sauce. Both were delicious and the portions were large. We'll be having leftovers tonight. Service was excellent as they had the meals ready a bit earlier than stated on their website. And they even had the curry container wrapped in a bag as protection from any possible leakage. I appreciated that extra step. We'll most definitely be back.
Mediocre at best. We ordered a lot of food cause a friend recommended it. But unfortunately there was nothing that stood out. The Tom Kha soup and Papaya salad had no other taste than sour. The only veggies they put in their curries were a few peppers, not even fresh Thai basil. Although we ordered medium spicy it was more like mild. If you want better Thai food I advise to check out the Kentlands area.
Food is top notch
Not the best thai food. Average
The food here is great, if you love super hot make sure to ask for Thai hot! And if you don’t like super hot, then don’t do that!
Penang Curry is the best.
Honestly one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I've been to in a while. I was able to find many of the usually off the menu items. This is one of my favorite places to go! Just know the default mediun spicy is 🔥 for American folks.
