Eats from all over Asia, some with Western fusion touches, served in a spiffy modern setting.
Food - Highly recommend the volcano roll. Also, the spicy calamari is a different take, but I enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and tasty.
Service - Waitress was highly attentive and friendly.
Atmosphere - Very quaint and chill for a lunchtime crowd. Not sure how it would be in the evening, but I anticipate it would get packed quickly. Good for date nights and times when you just want to get away from the noise also.
I was in the mood for some fish and decided to give this place a try. After trying, I found the food to be lackluster with an overzealous food presentation overcompensating the blandness of what I received! I ordered the wicked tuna roll, lobster tempura roll and the ocean's tree roll. The wicked tuna roll may have looked pretty, but that roll was so bland, I was like where is the flavor. Just because it looks intriguing don't mean it tastes good! I found the lobster tempura to be a bit hard and not fresh! It tasted like it too because it seemed that it had been there for a while. When I put it in my mouth, it took everything in me not to spit it back out. The ocean's tree roll wasn't anything special and quite frankly, not memorable. All the rolls were oversauced and dressed, and now I see why, to cover up how bland and stale the fish and everything else inside each roll was! I've had better sushi around the metro and this is a prime example of overpriced sushi. It's not worth the money and you can scroll past this place.
Randomly saw the sign advertising half off sushi special for lunch (dine in only) and had to check it out. Service was great. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Each roll has a percentage off and the menu states it clearly. The sushi comes out within 5 mins. There’s a patio and the restaurant is really clean. I can’t wait to visit again.
Randomly stopped in here cause I had just rewatched both Pacific Rim movies and I gotta say, this place serves fantastic food. The yellow curry with cashews was great and so was the shrimp fried rice. The California roll was as good as any other place (hard to make wrong I guess?) Their unsweet tea was great (big selling point for me). The forbidden Mai Tai was a bit strong but our waiter was happy to try and tone it down a bit. An easy recommendation for dinner.
Was in the area looking for some good sushi and to celebrate valentines with my girlfriend. It worked out really good once we walked in they sat us right away in a nice booth area. First thing I noticed was the great variety of choices they offered on the menu. Decided to grab a few small plates before my sushi was ordered. We got calamari, crab dip, crab rangoon and my girl wanted dumplings. Our appetizers didn’t take long to come out, everything was well priced and portioned. Afterwards we shared a I love salmon roll and shrimp crunchy roll. I feel the sushi is good but I had better in other places when it comes to quality. Definitely wanna try more another time!
Great sushi and the Thai basil noodles with chicken were really excellent too. Noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce flavor was outstanding.
Gyoza was also outstanding - light and crisp fried outside and delicious filling. A step above most places
For sushi we ordered some specialty rolls and the salmon lovers plate. All the fish was fresh and the rolls had excellent flavor. I am confident that I could order any roll and enjoy it here. I do hope the lobster poboy roll makes it onto the main menu as it was probably my favorite with volcano being a close second.
Good atmosphere, full bar, indoor and outdoor seating, quick service, overall a fantastic experience. I will definitely be coming back.
Bento box is delicious, especially the seven flavor beef!
Six of us (all from out of town) had a reservation for dinner the night of my daughter's birthday. The entire experience was great; the food was delicious... The ramen was outstanding! So glad we had the chance to try this restaurant.
Food was ok... apps were mid level. Gyozas and calamari, deep fried cream cheese won tons
. All just ok. Had the sushi sashimi plate.. fish was fresh and likely pushed food up to 4 star except appys
Great Asian cuisine, good service, reasonably priced, and they validate parking.
Average. The rolls were pretty basic. The flavor was existent but not great. They have a captive audience with the hotels and offices nearby. Had better rolls in Austell and Kennesaw tbh. Only spent $16 for a rainbow roll and spicy tuna; that was the best part.
Great sushi, nice atmosphere!
Not worth for your time and money
Quick walk from the Georgia Aquarium for some fantastic sushi. Servers were attentive and fun. Highly recommend: pad Thai, oishi roll, and kani miso soup. My 7 yr old said “10 stars”.
Claire was an amazing host, the food was amazingggggggggg. Best food I've tasted, everything was clean and nice. 1000/10 loved every second of it. Sushi is to die for 🥹
This place was recommended to us as a great happy hour place. Their happy hour menu has a large selection of rolls- which were delicious. Service was great and we got our rolls quickly.
Food is fantastic, but service is sketchy and be sure to check your bill for errors!
Not busy, slow service, mixed drinks awful. One meal came out cold, and spicy = atomic and I like very spicy food.
The Best Place to dine in, food was excellent, they were busy the last time I came. Kudos to Eli for making his team up, Can't go wrong with the best experience service and food
Great food and nice service - you can’t go wrong here.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered a California roll. However, they mistakenly served me more pieces of sushi on the plate to sharewithmy friends. My friends and I began eating them, not realizing the mistake, when a server abruptly came over and took the extra pieces back from our table. Surprised, I asked what they planned to do with the sushi they took from a plate we'd already started. The server responded by saying that the manager is cheap and they keep leftovers. Both the server and the manager were rude when I told them that was not a good practice. I left immediately, concerned that I might have been served leftovers from another table.
Top 👍
Ellen was an amazing waitress, truly the best I’ve ever had!

Consistently good!
Some of the best Asian cuisine our family has had in a while. The sushi was a major highlight of the meal.
Pacific rim saved us while in Atlanta for dragoncon. The food was incredible and came out extremely fast, every night. The atmosphere was great for the con, but our server Ellen was the best part of the experience. She was juggling 10+ tables at the same time, was incredibly efficient and extremely kind. If you eat at pacific rim, make sure you ask for Ellen!
Best yellow curry I've ever had! Great service, delicious food!!
only go here if you have a lot of time, they are INCREDIBLY SLOW
TLDR: This place is unsafe if you have food allergies or health issues that are affected by food. When we pointed out what had happened, they were apathetic. Only our waitress seemed sorry, but not enough to adjust the bill without being asked.
I had a meal here with a friend during DragonCon. I ordered two items plainly marked as “GF” on the sushi menu. One, specifically the Rainbow Roll, said it contained crab meat. Excellent, I thought. Only after I started eating did I realize it contained crab sticks. Firstly, crab sticks are not crab. They are usually made of whitefish, eggs, wheat, and spices/flavorings. A particular brand now makes gluten-free crab sticks, but those contain potato starch, which I also can’t eat.
I asked two servers to clarify with the chef. The second eventually returned and said she was very sorry, but that roll wasn’t gluten-free. I took the last bite of the roll that I knew was gluten-free and started to mentally prepare myself for the physical pain and discomfort that would ensue. After my friend finished her meal, we asked for our bill, and when we got it, both rolls I had ordered were still on the bill. They had completely disregarded the fact that they had just poisoned me with gluten. If your restaurant mislabels food that will make someone sick, at the very least you shouldn’t charge them for that item. If you want to practice good customer service, their meal should be on the house, accompanied by a GIANT apology from management.
I was flabbergasted, and at that point, I said I didn’t want to pay for my meal. The server returned shortly with the items removed, and I said I’d like to speak with management to explain the importance of getting this right. At the very least, they should immediately start telling people that the Rainbow Roll is not gluten-free. The manager returned, apparently thinking we were trying to get out of paying for our whole meal. He yelled at us. He also said they had been serving this roll as gluten-free for 20 years with no problem. 20 YEARS. We tried to explain why we wanted to talk to him, but he was so agitated that my friend had to force him to take the billfold with her credit card. We never got to have our one-on-one teachable moment with him, so unfortunately, he gets to have it here where everyone can read it.
People are gluten-free for many reasons—some out of preference, but most of us have severe health issues. People with Celiac Disease are more likely to develop colon cancer the more gluten they consume over their lifetime, knowingly or not, even if it doesn’t make them physically ill at the time. CANCER. I have chronic pain. I will spend the next week or two in extra, all-day pain and discomfort because of those two bites of crab stick.
There’s a social contract between restaurants and their diners. They broke the contract. Do not eat here.
Terrible evening ended with poisoning. Do not go here if you are gluten free!
My friend and I dined here yesterday and she spent the night with a migraine and body aches. Both will likely continue for 2 or 3 days.
When ordering, she was very specific in communicating her allergy and selected items listed on the menu with a GF designation. After eating two pieces of sushi she realized there was crab stick in the roll, which generally uses flour as a binder. She asked the server to double check with the chef that it was indeed GF. Very casually the server returned with the information that OOPS, it isn't.
Through some negotiation, her sushi was removed from the check. We continued to be polite, if a bit exasperated at the lack of urgency in all our exchanges.
I handed my card to pay. At the same time, we asked to talk to the manager so we could explain the severity of listing an item as allergen-free when it isn’t.
He came to the table with unbelievable hostility and asked what else we wanted since he had already removed the rolls from the bill. Another reduction of the bill wasn’t our intention, but he didn’t let us get a word in to explain.
Instead, he said he’s been serving this dish as GF for 20 years and never had a complaint. He tried to toss the bill back to me and said, “Don’t pay if you don’t want to.” I insisted he take my card, and he stormed off.
All we wanted was to make sure their menus were changed to reflect the allergen in the food. It’s not an unreasonable ask. Some compassion and an apology would go a long way to heal the sour feelings, but I don’t expect either from this man.
A must visit for me every time I visit Atlanta. Food is excellent, service wonderful and a great atmosphere.

Good place, acceptable level of sushi.
Good sushi, good atmosphere
My coworker and I came to have lunch and try a new restaurant that our attorneys rave about. We proceeded to be sat on the patio as requested. We set for over 15 min and two tables were set after us. The server appeared and proceeded to greet the other guests that came after us. We waited 10 minutes for water and to place our order. The other tables were assisted with their food orders and drinks. Our food and my beverage I order(which never came…even after my food came) took another 35 minutes. A manager was notified and was very dismissive of the situation. It then appeared as a racial discrimination situation all around. If I could I would give them no stars!!
Took my team here for lunch. Worst service ever. Ordered a spicy thai basil bento box( i even pointed at the menu tbh) and they gave me some teriyaki noodles WTH!!! I dont even like noodles… They said they dont have spicy thai basil bento box, its literally on the menu. Not even an apology. Such bad service, they dont even know their own menu. Just double check when they take your order. Dont feel like going back here.
Excellent!
This place is great, the food is outstanding. It's very hard to decide when you know everything will be good. Great for events.
We stopped by for lunch. We were seated quickly and asked about drinks. They came and it took a while to be asked about the food.
Once we ordered, we waited about 40 minutes for it to arrive. Not once in that time did our waiter stop by to ask about refills or just to update us.
Once our lunch arrived, it was average. It definitely was not worth the wait.
Although a little crowded, my lunch experience was awesome here!! I recently became a sushi fan (about one year ago) and this place is great!! Food was fresh; sushi roll fried to perfection. The salad greens were fresh. Friendly staff!
This was my first time coming here. It was recommended by a friend and it is fantastic. The best sushi, drinks and service I've ever encountered. Thanks Ty
A really lovely place with very fun staff. The people truly enjoy working here. Nice and quiet during happy hour, and a total blast at dinner time. East Side Sake and the avocado tuna and salmon rolls are my favorites. See you next year
Very welcoming food is good and they bring your food out in record timing and must visit.
Great place for early Thursday lunch. Toro Lover is a must try. Quality service!
Randomly stopped in here cause I had just rewatched both Pacific Rim movies and I gotta say, this place serves fantastic food. The server took my credit card and disappeared. He brought back a piece of paper for me to sign, and a couple of hours later, I realized that I didn't have my credit card: he hadn't returned it to me. So I went back and they couldn't find it. They don't seem to take responsibility for losing the card. A substantial apology, maybe comping me a glass of wine or something, might have been courteous. Doesn't exactly motivate me to go back.
I'm so glad this restaurant was recommended to me. It's located in Truist Plaza. Great ambiance. There is a full bar here. Cute place for a date night or solo.
There is a sushi and sashimi lunch available from 11:30am-2:00pm & Happy hour 4:00-6:00 pm with up to 50% off sushi rolls for DINE IN ONLY.
The Spicy calamari was good. I did expect it to be a little more crisp on the outside. Very fresh.
The Chicken Thai basil noodles had a nice flavor and a good portion. Really enjoyed the Phoenix roll. Brussel sprouts were delightful. Not everyone makes good brussel sprouts, but Pacific Rim nailed it. Thai yellow curry shrimp had a good flavor. Thoroughly enjoyed the Chirashi Don. Very fresh, and good assortment of fish.
Overall, I would recommend this location and look forward to returning to try new items on the menu.
The food is delicious but over priced for what you actually receive. The rolls are incredibly small.
Fantastic atmosphere! Love the location. Stopped for lunch to try a typical Thai dish. As usual, with most American Thai foods, it was not at the spice level I would expect for authentic Thai, but I can simply ask them to spice it up next time. Panang Curry flavor was excellent just missing typical Thai vegetables found in Chaing Mai Panang. Will come again to try something else on the menu.
In town for work. We held a retirement celebration here on a Monday night with about 25 folks. Calamari, edamame, sushi, brussel sprouts, chicken satay - soooo good.
We had vegetarians in the crowd who ordered tofu options. A coworker let me try a tofu sushi roll, and it was delicious! Eli was our server. He is the BEST server I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. So personable and engaging with his guests. In fact, he’s the reason we returned the next night. Five of us came back and Eli remembered all of our names, and app, food and drink orders. What a gem! I had the shrimp and glass noodles in a clay pot. It was beautiful and tasty. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town and hope we get to see Eli again!

I had the whole red snapper fried with 3 sauces. Very tasty.
Loved the whole experience
Sushi was great. Loved the coconut ice cream as well!
This place is always interesting.
Great place! Patrick is awesome, he's helping me plan a Corp event and has been responsive and helpful. The staff is really friendly, a very clean place, the food is great and the drinks are strong. Well-lit area, parking is right next door at Truist Plaza, just a great cozy place, great for dates, bestie hangouts, and corporate events. Will return and recommend
This place is fantastic! We ordered the I Love Salmon roll (top of pic), Rainbow roll (middle), and the Black Pink roll (bottom). Every roll was made so perfectly. The fish was so fresh and tasty, and I found myself becoming genuinely sad when I realized I only had a few pieces left. And to top it all off, the staff were all so kind and attentive and welcoming. I will be thinking about this place for a long time.
Our experience was amazing! Our waitress Ellen, was so nice and attentive! She gave amazing recommendations. Usually we have leftover but this was so good that we ate it all!
I went on a Thursday night and it was fairly slow. The service was spotty, but the quality of sushi was great.
I was delighted by the quality of food here: the sushi was remarkable in terms of quality and composition, especially the Sumo Roll with fresh crab. The drinks were also well-crafted. Our waitstaff was efficient, kind, and had a good sense of humor, too! I will definitely return when I’m in town.
Awesome food and service. Specially the one that served us “ELI” was the best service ever. Will highly recommend “ELI” as the top of all. Very friendly and accommodating.
It was an awesome experience. We will definitely be back again and again. Eli was superb with great customer service and very knowledgeable of what the place can offer. Eli exceeded to what his task is and his service is magnificent!!!
I would eat here again! The service was friendly and terrific. They recommended an amazing sake. The food was so fresh and the plates looked delicious. I had salmon and avocado rolls, along with miso soup (so good) and shrimp tempura rolls with eel sauce (also amazing). I can't recommend this restaurant enough, whether you're in Atlanta visiting and need a place to eat or looking for a fun time with friends. Thank you for a delicious and fun dinner.
Loved the burrito bowel, chips, queso. We were in a rush due to a conference break and they made sure we received our food immediately.
Overall positive experience. Went twice during my trip to Atlanta and got the Grilled Bangkok Chicken the first night and sushi the next day for lunch. The chicken was pretty bland. The sushi was decent for Atlanta. My biggest complaint is the service. It seemed disjointed, often having two waiters working our table and stepping on each others toes. The next day for lunch, I was caught up in conversation with my party and was abruptly told we had to leave (they close at 2pm, and we lost track of time). Instead of kindly letting us know that they were closing, someone came over and aggressively told us to leave the table. It was very confusing and off putting.
Second time here second time they messed up my wife’s order. First time they completely forgot her food… this time they brought a completely different meal. Then the waiter told us they we said blackened tilapia… ahh no! Shrimp Tempura Roll. We pointed at it on the sushi menu when ordering! Drinks never refilled, appetizer plates never cleaned off of the table and they were not very busy. Completely poor poor service. Very disappointed!!
I loved Pacific Rim Bistro! They had the best Pad Thai I've had in a while. They were also super quick, I walked there from my office during my lunch break, and within a few minutes of placing my order they brought my food out. I also was able to use tap to pay which was fantastic as I didn't bring my wallet with me.
Quick and friendly service, which is exactly what I was looking for. Will be back soon!
Surprised with the service, super fast even though it was packed. Food is delicious
I confess I don't eat sushi very often, so my judgement is uneducated. I had their Atlanta Roll and Philadelphia Roll and they were very good. Coworkers with me who get sushi regularly said it was a 7 or 8 out of 10 in my book. I'd go back!
The best tasting Brussels Sprouts I have ever had.
I went here during Dragon Con and despite the fact there were more centralized restaurants to the con, the place was packed! There were con-themed drinks and the restaurant obviously took care to keep their location relevant depending on local activities. The appetizers were great; however, the chicken was a bit bland.
We went with our 19 year old son last night and shared 5 different Sushi rolls — it was wonderful!! Lovely atmosphere, excellent friendly service. Will definitely go again when visiting Atlanta!
Sashimi was delightful as were the fried oysters, an item not often seen on menus.
Our service was amazing. Food came out super quick with a big party and was great. Patrick as awesome! Definitely would recommend
Eli was awesome, and the food was great.
Eli was the best bartender ever! Not only he stayed after hours to keep serving us, his service was outstanding. He was entertaining for our whole party! We highly recommend this restaurant!
Had dinner here during dragon con. Even with the influx of people the staff handled it well and they all has a smile on their face. Food was a little pricey I’d say but it was very very delish. Will come back again during dragon con and bring a larger party!
Great service despite a busy atmosphere and no problems meeting my dietary restrictions! Delicious entree.
Decent food, mediocre service, non-existent atmosphere. It was like an overpriced sushi deli with an outside seating area. I wish midtown had a closer sushi option to the Marriott Marquis that cared more about service and less about their proximity to the hotels.
Really delicious food and excellent cocktails. Service was prompt and attentive.
Good food, poor service, arbitrary policies, amateurish management, surly servers.
Worst restaurant experience in 18 years of attending DragonCon.
Our drinks, appetizers and meals were all enjoyable. However, we barely saw the server who was our main server. She took our food order and visited us briefly after our the main course arrived to ask how it was. All other service we received was delivered by a few other different servers. We saw our server attending to other tables in an adjacent area but our table was ignored by her and other servers. To get more drinks I had to go ask our server for them when I saw her at a nearby register. To obtain our checks more than 10 minutes after we had finished our meals, my friend had to seek her out at the same register and ask for the check to be split.
Our server attempted excuses for the lack of service when she brought the checks. Upon reviewing the checks we saw that a 20% automatic gratuity had been added. That was excessive considering the (lack of) service, so I spoke with the manager. He offered to re-run the cards and give us a discount.
A responsible manager would have delivered the revised checks himself. Instead our server brought them to us. Amazingly she gave us attitude for having complained about our service and seemed perplexed about why we were unhappy. When we explained her absence was the cause she loudly berated us for having been rude to her. Both my friend and I were consistently cordial with our server and the rest of the staff until she became vociferously hostile toward us as we were wrapping up the fiasco.
Our intent had been to give our server a reduced tip due to the inattentiveness, but her belligerence caused us to leave no tip at all.
If you're looking for Japanese cuisine while at DragonCon, I'd suggest taking your business to Yami Yami or Bud's Sushi.
We go here every year during DragonCon. The food is always delicious and the servers kind. We’ll be back next year!
Fly maggots in the hot sake. Comped half my meal. The food is good, and we go every year for dragon con, but this was probably the grossest thing I’ve ever experienced lol
This place is amazing my friends and I go every year at dragon con and the food and service is out of this world. Ask for Eli he will show you a great time!!
Our waiter, Eli was amazing. Great food recommendations and a lot of fun.
All apps we had were good, but the entrée blackened tilapia was incredibly tasty!
This is my new go-to spot! Eli, a regular waiter there is awesome, he even has a sushi roll named after him. I love all the curry dishes, the drinks and ambiance are nice.
THE PAD THAI MAI WAS OTHERWORLDLY. SUPREME. COLOSSAL. MINDBLOWING.
Great Sushi, Quick service and a nice place to chill out!
Food was great! Service was pretty slow and subpar, but they were a little busy. I had the teriyaki chicken and was very impressed, especially with the crinkle cut grilled veggies that came with it.
Love live this place, the food is always fresh and delicious
Ok food. Nothing exciting. Good ambience.
Was too busy and did not get served unfortunately
Truly amazing food and such a pleasant evening. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not crowded at all which was nice in terms of dining during a pandemic. The service was attentive and had wonderful recommendations of what to order. The Playboy on fire roll is lit on fire! Also, the fried bananas were divine. It is not cheap, but I think the prices are expected considering the nice dining venue, great food presentations, great food taste, and great service. I will certainly be back to eat here many times.
**2 years later - I’ve since been back many times and loved it every time. In fact it continues to somehow get even better. FYI: this is a great restaurant for a big group dinner
The sushi was good and not terribly expensive. Service was good and they were very nice.
My fiance and I went for lunch. We got the Bento Box special. For $17 it was reasonably priced. I ate everything that was in there. The customer service was great and they validate! I would definitely go back.
Best salmon in Downtown Atlanta! The service is exceptional.
Excellent sushi. Fresh and tender.
My BFF ate here.
Great sushi!
While at a convention in Atlanta, a friend recommended this place to me. It was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the house fried rice and it had so much meat in it it was hard to get the rice! I also tried the perfectly cooked calamari and the firecracker roll was spicy enough to make me get more water. All in all, I would definitely recommend them.
This may be some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. Fresh. Flavors on point. Staff was wonderful and attentive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Phenomenal service, food came out hot and delicious. Will visit again no doubt when I'm in Atlanta
The sushi was good but portions were small. About 2/3rds the size you can get anywhere else for the same price or less. I wish I took a picture of the shrimp tempura appetizer because that was a HUGE disappointment. It was made to look like a tent or teepee but only had 2 piece of tiny shrimp. The rest was all veggies and they weren't good at all
Panang curry bento box for lunch hit the spot. It was just the right amount of food.
Great food
The staff is very friendly and the food was really good!!!!! They have Gluten Free options. We could make a reservation online so we didn’t wait attached all!! The place is clean and the food arrived fast!
This restaurant has very good sushi and friendly staff. No complaints.
PS. Crab Rangoon was VERY good.
Very, very good! Ahi Tuna Poke was excellent!!
Amazing place for date night or brunch with colleagues.
A fair restaurant. The blacken tilapia was good. We didn't partake of any of the sushi, so I can't comment on the quality of that. The Thai steamed dumplings, even in sauce were rather bland. The chicken sate was probably the best thing, but only two small skewers.
The shush is good, the service needs to improve a little bit.
Great experience. Lots of vegetarian selections.
The sushi was great.
The food overall is good here. I found my California roll was a bit on the bland side. But the ribs were perfect. Tender, juicy and well seasoned. The chicken satay was juicy and well seasoned. The atmosphere was nice as well. I appreciated the service.
Service was great. Sushi was good. But I've had better. Didn't seem super fresh. Food came out quickly. And all wait staff helpful and nice.
Great restaurant to end a stressful day
This place was okay, but I expected better based on their google reviews. The fish was fresh, but the sushi was overpriced given the lack of creativity. The cocktails weren’t well proportioned. We ordered the ginger martini, and the ginger was so strong it tasted medicinal.
