I eat here all the time. Genuinely the best food in Tallahassee, easily the best chicken pad Thai I've ever had. Order the Crab Rangoon, then come back and leave a 5 star review as well, they're that good. Excellent service, excellent hole in the wall atmosphere, please check them out.

Thai place has a great atmosphere, the server was knowledgeable and super friendly, I went at lunch and my food took about 5 minutes and everything was super fresh and delicious even by the time I got home. Pad see ew was loaded with great veggies and tons of flavor and they don’t play if you ask for “Thai hot”. I’m vegan so I was able to get tofu and no egg and they were very accommodating.

We were told we should order an entree without the toppings so we did but seems wild you cannot get a side of noodles. Not very kid-friendly and the service was not great, we won’t be returning. Been going here for several years. Overall, probably still one of the top Thai places in Tallahassee, but then again there are not that many.

While the food has remained excellent (both quality and portions), the prices have gone way up and the service has gone down. I would still recommend this place, but may just come less often.

Love the atmosphere inside and great food. I highly recommend the crab fried rice. Full of big chunks of lump crab.

The food here is exceptional but they should not be advertising their menu items as vegetarian when they add fish sauce to all of their dishes. Absolutely none of their main course meals are vegan or vegetarian.

This is our usual Thai restaurant. The food is always amazing. The staff are super friendly.

Obnoxious pricing. I’ve eaten here before and they must have recently increased prices, we’re talking $18 per entree and over $12 a piece for appetizers. Food is the same quality of Thai food anywhere else in town you would get for half the price.

I don't believe this place has this many good ratings. Google shows it as a cheap restaurant with a single dollar, but it's actually really expensive. We just ordered one fried rice and a green curry and one appetizer of egg rolls and it came close to $60. The place is very tiny with people sitting on top of each other, it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Food was subpar, my green curry had only 4 little slices of chicken and the fried rice was bland and tasteless. We asked for extra sauce and they kept bringing out ridiculously small Costco sample sizes even though we ordered at least 5 times which was annoying. The staff was nice but would not recommend this place.

Definitely a fan of this little Thai restaurant. It's a little small but I dont mind it, good food and a cool little atmosphere. It will stay on my places to eat!

Mmmm mmmm

Visited Thai Place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Ordered the Red curry, Thai hot, crab Rangoon, basil fried rice, and the pad thai and everything was delicious. Can’t recommend Thai Place enough and the lovely person that chatted me up while I waited for my food was a delight. Would recommend to anyone.

So far every meal has been very good. Service is good as well. Very nice people.
They can read my mind and bring me exactly what I want.

We drove 15 minutes off our route only to find that they've been closed for over a month. They should have updated the Google listing. Very disappointing. We wanted to try this place, but we won't be coming back. Apparently, they were closed due to a health violation.

Don't know...online it says open but when you go in they close from 3 to 4:30 so we didn't get to eat there.

We have been to Thai Restaurants all over the country even a Thai food truck outside Talkeetna, AK. This place ranks in our top three. Absolutely delicious food...Tom Kha done perfectly. Definitely a keeper.

The staff was so friendly even though it was a busy Friday night. We had shrimp pad thai and massaman curry- always faves for us. But next time, we are getting the soup that every other table had ordered!!

I have been here about 5 times now and the service is consistent. I have had all their curries and they are amazing. Food is hot and prepared to order. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

I'm a tough critic when it comes to Thai food. After all, I have been fed by the best. This place is absolutely 100% authentic and is amazing! If I could give it more stars, I would double up.
It is super hard to even please me when it comes to Thai food, this place wowed me. The server is nice, food came out fast and hot and the flavor is all there. Americanized slightly, but that's because Americans can't take the heat!
Well done, Thai Place, well done. We will return over and over because I FINALLY found Thai food that is as good as it is in my hometown in NC. I've tried Thai food from NC to California, and this and 1 other are all that's edible! Please never close down or I'll be begging you to feed me from home. Haha

Accidentally found this treasure! It was delicious, atmosphere was authentic and service awesome and friendly staff. This must be a place with repeat customers because the staff seemed to know several patrons while I was eating. This is my new favorite eatery since it is an easy drive from South Georgia.

- I only order the Green Curry Tofu takeout at Thai Place. It has a beautiful mix of fresh veggies and a yummy, coconut creamy sauce. I have tried other dishes but strongly prefer the GCT.
- For Tallahassee Thai, this one dish is the best Thai I have found.
- I tried Reangthai Thai, got the Red Curry, and the sauce was akin to bland broth. It was so bad I had to throw it away. Thus, I continue to go to TP.

They canceled my GrubHub order when it was supposed to be arriving and decided to close at 6:37pm according to Grubhub customer service (weird time to choose) instead of their listed 8:30pm close time. I have a toddler and newborn and this super annoying and inconvenient. Not dependable!

It's not the best Thai food but I am pretty picky about my Thai food. It satisfied a craving. We were served water and never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. They were out of fresh rolls and we were told they sell out pretty early. So why not just make more if they're selling out like that?

I love drunken noodle and have had it at many Thai places. That’s what I ordered last time and this time. It is pretty bland and no spice kick at all like it normally has at other Thai places. I’m not sure if you have to ask for spice to be added. The spring rolls were great and my husband had chicken fried rice. All of that was over $40 without tip. You get spicier and larger portions at other places in town for the same price or less. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back. :(

It's a local great spot. I had noodles with black bean sauce and I can't remember the name. It was delicious. After hubbie ate his great curry, he finished mine off. The spring rolls were great too. They have a steady business of dine in and take out. It's way decorated over the top but fun.

Customer service was disappointing. They got the order wrong, twice. The summer rolls and springs rolls were good.

Great food. Service is good but can get slow when busy. Cherry does her best, though. For a family run restaurant, I can't get enough. Go earlier, as it gets busy later at night. Keep in mind, since it's a small place, they do run out of food.

Totally awesome. I wanted Massaman Curry Shrimp for New Years Day and it was fabulous here as was the accompanying soup and egg roll. Even the ice tea is above perfection. Small beautiful restaurant with great service.

Food was super delicious. We ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, and red curry (All shrimp).

Spice level is not that high. We ordered medium spicy which was low for us. But, the spice tray had yummy spices which made the difference.

Servers were very courteous and did not rush us.

The food was BLAND, no flavor at all. I asked for medium spice, there was NO spice to the food at all. The pineapple fried rice's seasoning was not evenly distributed throughout the food. My order was incorrect and I didnt realize it until I got back to my hotel. They are too expensive for these errors.

I've been meaning to write a review for here, but I keep forgetting. This is the best Thai restaurant in Tallahassee. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. I absolutely love their Panang Curry and the tom kai soup. My mom also loves Thai Place and she's somewhat picky. The decor really sets the mood and the owner's daughter is always nice. Can't wait to go again.

When I first walked inside Thai Place, I was completely mystified by the interior decorations. They serve really good food here, especially when we do takeout.

Brought our family in tonight for the first time and quickly left after seeing very inappropriate content on the t.v. definitely not for a family! Too bad, was really looking forward to trying the food.

Hands down the best Thai in Tallahassee! May I suggest patience with them answering the phones as they are usually busy with take out orders and can only answer one call at a time ... the staff is always pleasant and most accommodating.

Great food and great service. Fried spring rolls came out hot and crispy with a great dipping sauce with touch of heat. We ordered the red curry, basil fried rice, and drunken noodles along with Tom Kha soup and everything was delicious. The only complaint that I would have is that the Thai Tea was too sweet. If you are looking for vegan options for your date, this place has plenty of options.

The food is amazing and fresh and the staff is superb. A true family like experience where everyone is treated great. This is one of the best restaurants in tallahassee and definitely the best Thai ones.

There's a super wonderful atmosphere here with all the decorations and the Thai music going on. Super-iffic staff too; everyone was so warm and welcoming and wonderfully friendly.

The vegetable massaman curry was one of the best I've had in a long time and we do a lot of Thai. In fact, I haven't seen as generous a Thai iced coffee pour, ever. And that spice condiment tray? Whooo! Impressive and with those iddy bitty chopped peppers, mnm mmm.

You won't break the bank here either, there's a pretty good lunch menu.

Food was plentiful and pretty well presented. More importantly, it was good. From a pescaterian, vegan, and someone with an allergies it fed us all.

Overall a good experience but not great. Place is very tiny. Wait for table was 25 min on Saturday night 630pm. Only 10 tables but all were filled. The 2 servers were quick and efficient. Priced as expected with portions as expected. Food quality good and seafood not overcooked. Ambiance was very comfortable with thai decor throughout. We would return again.

My wife and I always consider Thai Place when we decide to go to lunch because you just can't go wrong here; best lunch spot in Tallahassee (great fro dinner too) in my opinion. Family owned and they are committed to quality fresh food. Veggies are always crisp and bright and if you like it spicey you own't be disappointed, I'm a Thai hot person and they make it Thai hot - so yum. Great little place where you feel like you are eating in your relatives fantastic kitchen. The soup and spring rolls are bursting with flavor yet light and appetizing.

The interior decor is overstuffed with knick-knacks and pictures, but they manage to pull it off nicely.
