WOW! THIS IS THE BEST!!! My wife is Asian, so over the years we have tried most all of the Asian food restaurants in the area and determined which are worthy of repeat visits. We seek out those that have an authentic taste (as indicated by my wife and our many Asian friends) and good service. For Thai food, this is now our favorite, by far. Authentic ingredients, authentic preparation, no extra ingredients like sugar, excellent wait staff, cater to children, good-sized portions, reasonable prices, and clean restrooms. They had a big party while we were there, and the waitress commented that they had been busy all day, yet I can't say the service towards their other patrons suffered any. I expect to see the owner expand the size or number of restaurants in the next few years in order to take advantage of accommodating more patrons during busy times. It would be nice if they could reduce the price of drinks, but their prices are not any worse than other places.

LEGIT! Been having a hard time finding decent Thai food in the area, and am so glad we found Salathai. Massamam was a peanuty delight. Perfect Pad Thai is completely balanced. The curries all knock your socks off. Everything is fresh, flavorful and delicious. We have dined in and ordered take out. The employees are very polite, and on top of service. Our take out orders have always been correct, and well packaged.

The Crab Fire rice was the 💣 it was soooo yummy and flavorful.
We are also very happy with the Avocado Curry .

Sala Thai, Is labeled as an authentic Thai restaurant. Sala is a table service Thai themed restaurant. They have several Thai themed decorations and art around the dining room. They have Pepsi soft drinks. They feature several customary Thai entrees. I ordered yellow curry. I didn’t see any kids meals on the normal menu. The front entrance is a single door and level (+ curb)with the parking area, they do not have a door opener for those with limited mobility. I found the serving size to be reasonable for the price ($7.50). My entree came with a choice of meat, choice of rice and choice between salad or soup. I was surprised at how quickly our food came. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My drink was refilled several times. Menu says they have Gluten-free and vegan options. Highly recommend Pro tip: try the coconut rice, it’s very good, borderline dessert. Please “like” this review if it helped you in any way.

I was born in Thailand and I tend to be picky on what I choose...I used Door Dash for the 1st time and I ordered diff Soups n Coconut rice...I was Very very pleased with the WonTon, Tom kha ga & Tom Yum soup and their level of Hot is excellent...some places can not do Hot or Thai Hot right, but they were spot on- I can't wait to try more from their menu...5 out of 5 stars

Sorry, I’ve got to dock you another star. The food was great the last few times, and I normally wouldn’t dock a star due to one bad experience, but this one was pretty bad. I called in to place a take out order, placed the order, was quoted the price and pick up time, and when I showed up to get and pay for my order 35 minutes later I was told there was a “communications issue” and they had never made the order at all. After waiting another 20 or 30 minutes in the restaurant finally had the food. Hint: good form with this kind of faux pas would be to at least give away the rangoons free of charge for taking extra time out of someone’s ONLY night off work, but no such luck here.

The food was really bad this time for whatever reason. It usually is delicious, but this time the veggies were undercooked and the sauce was separating funny and tasted different than usual— maybe old/expired?? Did you guys hire a new chef or something? After my wife and I ate, within an hour, we were sick to our stomachs and have had stomach cramps since.

If this persists, we’ll have to make the drive back out to Simply Thai. We’ll give ya another shot, but it’s not worth the money if we keep getting this kind of experience.

LOVE the food! But sorry, gotta dock ya a star for nickel and diming your customers on every extra little thing. Like ordering s an extra tiny little ramekin of sauce you’re paying an extra $2, and for a halfway decent/adequate sized ramekin it’s $3.50. Cmon, that kinda thing was free not long ago. It costs you maybe 10-20 cents for an extra little side sauce. Bad form!

Other than that, super tasty food. Other than the pad Thai. You guys need to emulate Simply Thai in FOCO for your pad Thai; they do pad Thais the best. Everything else tastes top notch.

Great Thai food

Best Thai we’ve ever experienced. Sadly, we no longer live in the area but every time we come back to visit, Salathai is always at the top of our “must-eat” list. Their Pineapple Fried Rice is a favorite of our whole family, including our toddler!

Along with it's sister location Bangkok89 in Loveland, this is the best Thai food in Northern Colorado if not the entire State. Panang Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai... you name it, it comes out hot, fresh and flavorful.

Have to change my initial review from years ago. Dropping a couple stars. Seems like the care is just gone in quality and consistency. I don't bash locals, just can't recommend them right now. The noodles have been way overcooked and are mushy. The chicken is cooked days ahead, and is stilll boiled, not seasoned. I have suggested some minor things early on but it appears that things went down hill. I'll check in again in the future Van, but I have to find other options. Sorry.

The Drunken noodles are so gross! More like grey noodles. 2 stars for decent service. Probably won't be going back.

I ordered massaman curry and wings tonight through DoorDash. I have ordered both of these items before and there is a lot of inconsistency in the quality and execution of the dishes. Tonight the wings were super dry on the inside, but the skin was mushy and the cilantro on them was not fresh and wilted. The curry was flavorless and the chicken in it was incredibly dry. I was very disappointed.

I really do recommend this place for people who live or visit the area. I've been coming here for 6 years now and it is still one of the best places I have ever eaten. The customer service is amazing the food is amazing. Just a great place over all

Good solid place for some quick good Thai food!

I’ve eaten here and ordered takeout numerous times over the past five years or so and it is always fantastic. I can’t think of a time it has been bad! Best Thai restaurant I’ve tried in northern Colorado. It has become a go to spot for my husband and I.

We love the dumplings with peanut sauce and I usually get pad se ew and he gets pad thai. Highly recommend them both.

The lunch I had there was disappointing and hard to finish. It tasted very low quality, as if it was pre-made somewhere else and delivered in a plastic bag (Cashew Delight). Initially, I thought it gave me food poisoning and wrote a one star review on that, but it turns out that may have been a separate issue.

Amazing experience every time! I work near by so I like to stop in for lunch. They have an amazing staff that is courteous to me. The restaurant is clean and has an amazing atmosphere. But the real gem here is their food. It is amazing every time. Taste like food that was made and not “heat up”. Please try their curry at some point!!

Came to Sala Thai while visiting a friend and was more than pleased with the meal-- I'm a sucker for good curry, their yellow curry here was flavorful and filling in a generous portion.
My friend had the Spicy Basil with chicken over rice and considered themselves a convert afterwards!
Service was extremely kind, almost familial. The patio made perfect seating in the summer evening.

I have ate here a handful of times every time I have tried something different from the menu and I have asked for Thai Hot but have never had any spice in my food not even the peperflakes and I think sweet coconut rice is disgusting.

This is honestly the worst Thai food I have ever had... $50 for 3 meals. Rip off.

I've tried this place now twice. The first time was terrible and I tried it again 6 months later to see if maybe it was a one-off. Nope. This is truly awful.

My wife and I ordered drunken noodles, Avocado curry, and sesame chicken.

Drunken noodles we're incredibly dried overcooked. It was basically gelatinous noodles with nothing on them. It was one of the worst things I've ever tried. I took one bite and immediately threw it out. The first time I ordered from here I had pad Thai and it was basically the same story.

My wife's curry just tasted like coconut milk and sugar. It was sickly sweet and had no other flavor than that.

The sesame chicken was a joke. It was just chicken nuggets with a sweet clear sauce to dip it in. I mean what is this? It was like sweet and sour chicken but somehow worse. I'm not even exaggerating. It was basically like taking Tyson chicken nuggets, throwing them in the oven and serving it with something that tastes like duck sauce. I wish I read other reviews before I ordered this. If you look at other reviews people are saying the same thing...

To add insult to injury, the portions were incredibly small for the price. I think I got about eight chicken nuggets out of the sesame chicken and the curry container was served only half full. Usually at chili Thai my wife will get two or three meals out of her curry. We got one abysmal meal out of this curry.

I don't recommend this place at all. Go next door to chili Thai. That place is not that great but it's still far better than this. If you want decent Thai food, you need to head into Fort Collins or even Loveland.

I'm not a fair reviewer of Thai food, because it's quite literally my least favorite ethnic food. PAUSE! Before you judge... While I love high spice, the weird sweetness of sauces and curry turn me off. #preference. Okay, now that is out of the way.

My boy, while a young server, probably his first job, likely deserves a pass... What I can't pass on is his complete inattention to the requests of his patrons. Drinks of any sort should always be the first thing delivered. After ordering... Waiting, quite literally, fifteen minutes... Reminding him of our drink order... Waiting again another ten or so minutes... The young lady who wasn't our server had drinks in hand within 30-60 seconds after I asked her what the holdup was.

She, as professional as could be, displayed a level of frustration, but kept it close to her chest and never actually revealed said frustration with her counterpart. She promptly apologized for the delay and continued to check in on us the reminder of the evening, and continued to maintain engagement despite her extremely overextended workload.

The atmosphere was delightful. The people were delightful, and despite the shoddy service provided by our extremely green server, it is a place Thai food lovers should enjoy.

Best lunch special in Windsor. Favorite dishes are the Panang curry and the glass noodles(not on lunch).

I really wanted to like this place and I’ll probably give them a second chance but pretty disappointed in our visit on a Wednesday evening. There were 7 in our group and maybe 4 other patrons in the place. Service was friendly- when we had it. My “ginger lovers” dish had no detectable ginger though the sauce was good and gingery. One of the kids had a sampler plate which was poorly deep fried. The curry dishes were good but the chicken in my wife’s noodle/sauce dish was tough and chewy.
Ventilation left much to be desired and all our clothes still smelled strongly of the restaurant the next day.

I noticed other reviews complaining about portions but a dinner in Windsor for only $12 and I’ll probably get 2 more meals out of the leftovers won’t have me complaining about portion size.

Came in for lunch and such an amazing price. The salad with the dressing, I could drink the dressing it so good. Good size for lunch some give you way too much. Garlic chicken was great. I have to go back and try the drunken noodle now.

I don’t know why this place is so highly rated. Worst food (Thai or otherwise) I’ve had in a long time. Horrible version of Tom Yum - oily tomato base with mushrooms and some sad pieces of chicken. Baby corn does NOT belong in real Tom Yum. Not authentic at all. Spicy Basil fried rice was mushy and bland. Sweet and Sour chicken was horrible quality meat and extremely artificial. Not a single ounce of freshness or authenticity anywhere. Will never go back

We go here for lunch with coworkers all the time. Great lunch specials, sometimes I order two and split half of the second with someone else if I’m extra hungry.

Its....okay. Not as good as it used to be. Honestly both Salathai and Chili Thai have gone downhill. From the quality and taste, to finding bugs in the food. It seems like a gamble now at either place.

We have ordered togo from Sala Thai many times and loved the food. We decided to drop in and had an amazing experience. The service was great and there are a lot is options not available togo. We had a pot of ginger tea and a bottle of flavored sojo. Being able to control the spice level was a great benefit. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice were perfectly tender and the flavor was amazing.

My husband and I have been coming here for many years. We live in the neighborhood behind the restaurant so it's super convenient. We really like the lunch menu with the soup, egg roll, and entree. It's the perfect amount of food for us. We've never had a bad meal here and it's always good service.

Yesterday (Valentine's Day) we decided to order carryout. I thought we would order early, at 4:15, to beat the rush. When I got there to pick up my order at 4:45 the place was hopping! There were 2 people waiting for pickups, a few people already eating and several cars that pulled up right after me. The girl behind the counter would hang up from a phone call only for the phone to immediately ring again. I can only imagine this got more busy as the night went on so I'm glad I ordered when I did.

After seeing all of this I thought I should have waited longer to pick up my order because it surely wouldn't be ready. I waited about 5 minutes for my turn and my food was hot and ready.

There was no flavor in the sauce for the main entree . The appetizer was way to greasy , we where going to get a plate to go but quickly changed our mind .Would not go back .

WOW. Food was delicious and very carefully packed for my to-go order. Ordered the lunch special with sweet/sour chicken. Great portions, didn't realize it came with an egg roll also A++! They put the sauce under the fried meat so it didn't get soggy while in transport. VERY thoughtful. VERY HAPPY with my meal!!!!!

The food is delicious! I love the Panang curry. The pad Thai is great. The Thom Kha is very flavorful. The sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken are not as good as Chili Thai next door but all of the Thai dishes I have had there have been really good. I prefer ordering the extra meat in the dish as the sauce is plentiful and the meat is not. These dishes are too small too share in my opinion and the soup is a bit pricey but it is all delicious. Lunch service is quick. The place is small but quiet and does not always have the cleanest feel in the booths, I much prefer pickup to eating in.

I wasn’t expecting much, with this place being in Windsor, but the food is absolutely fantastic. Got the crispy duck; very hard to find this dish elsewhere. Amazing sauce, hot, fresh. This will be my go-to for Thai; it’s better than anything in Fort Collins.

Server did not wear mask. Shrimp meal turned out to be tofu. Mustard was not hot Chinese - rather something that might be on a hamburger.

I have been coming to this place for years. Great food quality. However, today im dissappointed as i asked for a dinner portion and was given a smaller container then Ive received in years past. The portion of food is smaller for the same price as what your dinner portion use to be. Business is booming for you guys so why not keep the portions the same. I hope that can change..Thank you!!

Not terrible, but not good. The portions are considerably small for what you pay. I expected more. The cashew chicken was a bit bland, but not inedible. The curry wasn't anything special, but was ok. Probably won't order from them again though. I'll try the other Thai place in town and compare.

Amazing Thai food! The front desk young lady/waitress is so kind. Their spicy basil duck and drunken noodles are amazing. Fried rice and pad thai are also good. Curries are a bit sweet for my taste. Very welcoming atmosphere.

The egg rolls were great! Unfortunately the pad Thai noodles were way Over cooked and more like a bland mush with meat. Pretty disappointed as this place came highly recommended. Again, egg rolls were awesome.

Seriously the best deal you can get. Drunken noodles with the fried rice with egg roll and your choice of salad or soup all for $10. Or you can get a nasty burger, fries, and soda for the same price.

Love this place! Had the Pad Se Ew and it was great. Good flavor and the food always comes out pretty quickly.

I have to say this was pretty sad experience. Spending over $75 and receiving about $30 in food. Portions were ridiculously small, a meal costing as much as they do should not be on a huge bed of lettuce (that I didn't order & wasn't described on menu) with one piece of broccoli, very few pieces of chicken on top of all the lettuce. The sauce was like water, not sauce. Also cheap on the already cheap rice, by saying you put all the portions of rice for multiple entries in a single portion box...they are made that size because that's the size portion that fits in there. Smashing more rice into the box: 1 doesn't provide me the rice I paid for, no matter what you write on the box, 2 makes for a messy mush of smashed rice.
I have to say these other reviews are either fake, full of baloney, uneducated, or they happen to have a good experience, yet that doesn't change mine.
I will not be going here again. Please don't respond to this review unless it is to process a refund.

Best Thai food in Northern Colorado!!!

Ordered takeout and the food was pretty lack luster and the order was incorrect. I ordered a number of items hot and none of them were spiced. I ordered the mango sticky black rice and the sticky rice was both undercooked and was white rice with black rice mixed in. Lastly I ordered one of the meals with extra beef and vegetables (which is an up-charge) and I am fairly certain I received the normal order. As a note I ordered through their online ordering system.

This was our first visit to Salathai. Our meals were delicious!! Service was prompt and polite. The over all value fantastic. We will definitely be back and recommend it!

They have a lot of great options... But the duck is the best thing to get. The curry dishes are good, but don't really knock it out of the park and lack some of the complexity of developed flavors. Definitely worth checking out.
