Absolutely LOVE everything about this place. It’s like a home cooked meal from your distance cousins! The food is made to order and authentic. The atmosphere is friendly and the establishment is neat and clean. I told them it was my first time and they came and gave recommendations. I wanted to buy the Jouw (sp) but I had never tried it before so without asking he gave me a sample w/ sticky rice! It was so delicious. Give them a try!

Diner Review №2

Pricey for the amount of portion you get, probably will come back for the drinks only

Diner Review №3

Yummy delicious

Diner Review №4

The service was friendly and warm. Difficult to make a decision because everything on the menu looked. I especially liked the pork eggrolls. The only bummer is they don’t serve carbonated beverages so if you want a Coke or Pepsi you’re out of luck. They do have boba tea and water though.

Diner Review №5

Fantastic experience. Kai is the best restaurant manager I've ever seen and every time I come in we talk about life. The atmosphere is warm and calming. They make each dish carefully. The best Lao food in Sacramento hands down is here. Don't miss out!

Diner Review №6

Amazing Authentic Cuisine and Friendly Service

I was introduced to Cocomilk by a very good friend, and ever since my first visit, I can't stop coming back! Everything here is authentic and bursting with flavor. The desserts are incredible—especially the pandan dessert and coco gems. Honestly, everything on the menu is a win.

What sets Cocomilk apart is their attention to detail. They even sell their sauces, both dry and wet, so you can recreate the magic at home. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you're dining in or taking out.

The place is spotless, and Keo is fantastic—always there with a pleasant attitude, ensuring my order is perfectly prepared and packaged. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a great experience!

Delicious Laotian/Thai food for a reasonable price. Probably the best South East Asian food in the area.

Diner Review №10

Food and drink flavors are always consistent and absolutely delicious. They have a really big drink selection that is tasty and refreshing. I love their grilled pork with sticky rice. The pork is tender, juicy, and flavourful.

Diner Review №11

Had the mochi layers, ube coconut and the warm rice balls in coconut cream and OMG. There's nothing I didn't love! I'm addicted!!!

Diner Review №12

The food is so delicious and fresh. The best price for the quality and quantity of food. Please don't skip the dessert!!!!!
I can't wait to go back to this place!!!!

a delicious meal.

Diner Review №15

One of these days I’ll be going to this store and eat there. Since I work from home and order here the food is delicious that my husband loved it too. I gave it a four because is $20 a plate through Uber eats the amount of food is small. The pork belly is good I thought it was bigger it wasn’t. I thought they will put few more pieces of cucumber but it’s only three of them with one leaf of romaine. Dissatisfied. But overall it’s good. Hope they’ll read this and add more cucumber and more leafs of romaine. Chilli lime is amazing which I’m going to buy at the store and sticky rice super good.

Diner Review №20

Best Nam Khao in NorCal hands down. Very impressed by the quality, just maybe ask for more lettuce wraps when you order.

Diner Review №24

Me and my love were on a lunch break from work and stopped in it was amazing food and service we even ordered again before we left. Plus I heard them playing Erhu music so that's a bonus! Will absolutely come here again.

Diner Review №25

Ordered two items. The chicken larb and crispy fried rice. Here’s the thoughts:

The rice was ok had little flavor but still ok.

Chicken larb seems to be day old chicken that really didn’t have any larb seasoning like ground roasted sweet rice. It didn’t taste right and the chicken was hard. There was also a lot I mean ALOT OF gizzards and that overpowered the meal. I am not a fan of gizzards and if there was going to be that many in there, the shop should mention that on their description so as to give customers a heads up.

I understand the state of our economy but the portion of both of them are pitiful. I took a picture of a soda can next to the food for comparison. Also inside the portions were roughly half of that small container and the rest was filled up with veg/greens.

I gave it one star based on the lack of flavor, too many gizzards, and old chicken in the chicken larb . Also with the crispy rice it’s lacking flavor and the portions are super small. Now at almost 30 buck I would expect more than the portion size.

This is a nice place and the rep was pretty chill which was a plus. I just wish the food would reflect.

Diner Review №26

So good, I always like getting the grilled chicken and the Thai tea with boba 😋😋

Diner Review №27

Amazing service and great food! We ordered the crispy pork belly rice and durian rice for dessert. 10/10 for both. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №28

First impression on visit and food is 5⭐️s. Cocomilk Cafe has ample space for dine in and minimal outdoor seating. Clean establishment, friendly staff and ordering can be done at the counter, at the dining table via QR code or online. Menu consists of the best Lao/Thai street food, desserts & coconut juice, tea and Boba beverages.
I ordered the Combo Platter DLISH!!
Looks to feed between 6-10 people depending on individuals appetite.

I got chicken Larb and sticky rice. The chicken Larb was dry and flavorless and the sticky rice that came with it was in an extra tiny box. Unfortunately, the food is overpriced and has no flavor. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you are looking for a meal to eat.

Diner Review №34

Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.

Diner Review №35

Honestly some of the best lao/thai stir fry I've ever had.

I enjoy that it comes in a takeout container in case you don't finish your servings and it makes sense as it decreases dishes turn over but I'm not a huge fan as it feels wasteful.

I always take the plastic containers home to wash and reuse so it's a bonus for me, but i know people just toss them because they're lazy.

Love the Lao sausage and deserts! Restaurant is clean and The staff are very friendly, too.

Diner Review №43

I came here after I got out of the Airport and was craving for Lao food. Everything was satisfying.

Diner Review №44

For the Love of Grubhub:

New joint soo I digress. My simple request was extra cucumbers, as I declined the rice. (how hard is that) 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cocomilk took my extra money but disregarded that specific? Gave only the 3 slices it came with. Ok sure np, but yellow lettuce, (3 leafs) and overly dried meat plate is a big nope for me,… not heavenly at all!

Cocomilk, pls step it up if you wanna charge $18 for these delicacies please 🙏🏽 Tapioca was on point, soo kudos for your star ⭐️

There is a great selection of Southeast Asian *vegan* desserts here AND juices & boba drinks. This cafe specializes in coconut milk based desserts. Unfortunately none of the hot food are vegan, but you can go to Bodhi Bowl in the same the parking lot. I ordered the mochi layers, coco pandan (sugared coconut inside), and coco cassava. The desserts taste light & healthy. The sweetness is mild or light compared to western desserts. It’s the textures that are more interesting. The staff are very knowledgeable, and if others are nervous about the language barrier in Little Saigon area, there’s none here. The shopkeeper told me the other vegan items off the desert menu are the:
- Mochi waffle
- Mango rice
- Coco Ube
- Mochi layers
- Candy cassava (this looks really good but they were sold out)
- Coco gems
- All the cups

Horrible service. Our first time here and the servicer gave our food to other customer cause they're name and our name on the order are the same. The worker don't even try to figure out who is who and what happen. He gave our stuff to them and not us and afterward not a well sincere apology. Nothing was to offer for their mistake. The thought that count. I will come back for the #1 Soy Noddle and see if I need to change my review.

The pork is the best I've ever had. The team is always so kind and professional. Love this place!!

Diner Review №59

Amazingly, authentic food, drinks and desserts. The real dishes look exactly like the beautiful pictures you see online the place is clean and the service is lovely. I would definitely come here again.

Diner Review №60

This is an authentic lao/Thai place. I like their sausage (not pictured), as it is filled with Lemongrass and not dry. The meat below is a bit chewy but flavored well. Laotian style papaya salad still pretty spicy for mild and authentic. Atmosphere more for take out.

Diner Review №61

If you haven’t eat Laos food before I highly recommend CocoMilk Cafe. I love the authentic flavors of the sausage, heavenly beef, beef salad and their drinks.
Yes Love ❤️❤️ the mochi balls. Also they’re very generous with the portion of the foods.
You won’t be disappointed 👍👍

Diner Review №62

Stopped by in Little Saigon in Sacramento today. We love Thai and Laos food so we came in to cocomilk Cafe. The papaya salad, lao sausage, and soy noodles were all great. It feels like home cooking. Great food in a little shopping plaza. Definitely worth the stop and getting our Thai/Laos food craving fixed. GO!!!

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №66

Great service and food. Papaya salad isn’t too spicy (I ordered medium spicy). Soup comes hot and green tea was hot. Coconut cassava was delicious.

Diner Review №67

A very lovely place 😊 ❤ ☺. Owner is very nice and kind.

Diner Review №68

LOVE this place! We've been huge fans of CocoMilk Cafe since they started out in Stockton and we've been wanting to visit their new Sacramento location since they opened. Well, we finally made it here and they did not disappoint! We ordered about 6 items to share along with 4 drinks and we were stuffed! Everything was amazing and we are looking forward to coming back when we are in the area! Thank you for the delicious food and delectable desserts!

Diner Review №69

Seriously. Go eat here right now. Came in the other day with a friend who ordered the Beef salad, and then came back today for lunch to try it myself. The staff was incredibly friendly and explained the most popular dishes and what makes them special. You've got to try the Lao Sausage. It was a savory with a hint of sweetness plus the dipping sauce gave it a nice dash of heat at the end. We also tried Ube Coco mochi balls which were great. Support these guys, you won't regret it!

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №74

Great Lao/Thai place. We came at the end of the night and the owner spoke to us about the different items on the menu and described how they were made etc.
The food itself was fantastic. I had the Lao sausage which was perfectly spiced, and had the perfect fat to meat ratio.
Amanda had the chicken which was grilled to perfection.
The sauce. What can I say, it's perfect. A good balance between citrus and spice. Very good if you like a little heat in your meal.
I. Not much of a desert eater, but Amanda said they were to die for.
Thanks so much, we def plan on coming back.

Diner Review №75

Decided to try this spot for lunch and I wasn't too happy with their food. I ordered the nam kao, beef laab, and green papaya with a side order of sticky rice.
The beef laab was lacking in flavor. Im not too sure if they wanted ween off from the lime or sauce but it was cooked beef slices with a bit of laab seasoning. Disappointed me so i took it home and made it better.
The papaya, on first bite, had a weird metallic aftertaste. After the first bite, it was spicy but it was lacking in flavor.
The last item we had was their nam kao. Really surprised how tasty it was. It had the perfect crunchiness and the pepper was spicy. The meat was spread out but the dish couldve had more.

All in all, try it out and help support local eateries! It could have been better but i also didnt try their sweets. So maybe next time, my review could jump. Thanks for reading!

Just got the mixed Pandans (ube & pandan) and a Thai Tea. They tasted great and not too sweet. Thai Tea was perfect. Will come back to try other stuff on their menu.
