To start, it was my first time at MY THAI. I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant before and this time my friend recommended it. The food is so delicious!! I love it! The portions are BIG. You can share within each other. I don’t remember the name of the plate but it looks like orange chicken, and it was sooo delicious!!!! The service was top notch, they are very very friendly. Place was cleaned! I will for sure be back to try other plates!
I had the green curry with basil, eggplant, and chicken.. Wow, sooo delicious. It came with rice and either soup or salad. I opted for the delicious soup. The red curry was delicious also, you pick your own heat so I picked 2 Chile's, mild. The service and our server was excellent. Thank you for a great lunch and experience.
The service was fantastic and we truly enjoyed the food. We should have ordered it with #2 spicy. We had first time people to Thai food with us, so we ordered least spicy and the yellow curry came very bland and more like soup.
Service really good. Restaurant is basically tables and chairs, and loud. Both from customers and the open kitchen.
Started off with gyoza and that was a good start. Fried to great crispness and great size.
I can recommend the green curry, but they don't serve Thai eggplant , so if you don't like the regular eggplant , skip the eggplant in your curry.
Fried rice was a bit bland, and very greasy.
It's was a nice dinner, but compared with the previous Thai restaurants (and my years in Thailand) here in my review I will give a 3⭐️
We had a great experience with the service and meal. Our server went out of her way and our meal was excellent. We are here for a conference and was looking for authentic Thai dishes. I hope you enjoy your meal here too.
I am a frequent customer of this restaurant who would normally rate the food 4 star. Last night, I ordered the lump crab fried rice only to find out that there is no lump crab in it. It is shredded into the dish. After digging through the rice, I found one piece of crab. I should have saved money and ordered plain fried rice. So, if you are expecting to find crab in the dish, I would avoid ordering it.
I called the restaurant and was told that the manager would call me back when they were free. I received no phone call. So, that makes me wonder if they really care.
Very good Curry
Unbelievable!!!
Best Thai food in the Coachella Valley, I’ve tried them all! The food is fantastic and the portions are big.

Ordered from here because I didn’t want to drive to Thai smile big mistake. Order extra chicken on 2 items and no chicken to be found. Food quality was low with no flavor
Great place

Great food
Home recipes served home style. Beautiful presentation and schrumshishly good. Yes, I know that strange word is not real, but the food was that good.
Saved my life on New Years Eve! Incredible Thai food! The best in Coachella Valley!
Food was great!
Food was great - better than my local favorite spot in LA. What a great find. I had the steamed ginger fish and my husband had the Pad Thai.
The spiciness level of the curry can be adjusted by adding more half&half/coconut milk upon request. The chicken curry was good and the staff said it was gluten free.
We had Thai rice with meat, chicken and shrimp… delicious! Very efficient stuff!
For winter, the Tum Yum soup is perfect. The Prik King is my favorite, as well as the Spicy Egg Plant.
I had Crying Tiger and Green Curry Shrimp several times over the last 3 years. I had it on Wed., Nov 6 and it was terrible. Crying Tiger was not marinated and too tough to eat. Each piece had to be spit out due to gristle. The shrimp are TINY now and the green curry is watery. I was entertaining an out of town guest -- who was NOT impressed.

I’m a loyal My Thai customer. However, the crab fried rice is advertised with lump crab meat. Do not expect to get crab lump meat, it is supposedly shredded into the fried rice. There is no lump crab meat, very disappointing and felt like I was only eating rice.
I had food on 10/21/2024 and I felt sick like 20 minutes after eating. We had a staff lunch and all staff members got sick.
Myself, and all my coworkers got food poisoning. Definitely never going back
Excellent red Curry beef with rice!
Good place that I finally got to try out.
I was ordered but I have been waiting for 30 minutes they are very bad staff😕
What a gem! A great Thai restaurant with friendly service and great food. Winning all around. We stopped in for a Saturday night date night dinner and decided to sit at the bar as all the booths were taken. (That they were busy was a good sign.) And we were so glad we did! They took great care of us, checking in on us regularly, but not being overly attentive. We ordered an appetizer as well as our main course and when the appetizer arrived, she had misheard the order and turned out to be a mistake. I was actually a fun adventure into new cuisine, as I asked what the item was, it was a homemade sausage that they made in the restaurant so while we waited for the correct order, she gave us each a sample to bite from the order and we were able to test it. It was rather loud when we were ordering so the two items sounded very similar so it was perhaps partially my mistake, but ultimately, she owned up to the fact that she should have double checked, but it was not an issue. It was handled with such grace and with such humor that we were happy to try the new dish and when we finally got the appetizer we ordered. It was delicious as were our main courses that there is even some leftover which we of course took home. it was a terrific experience great staff great location and the food was perfect. Will definitely be going back again!

The food was amazing, the serving sizes of the food were generous and the people are kind.
I had gotten there with my cousin and when we got there we waited for a long time. After waiting for a while we had noticed a family got there after us and they have been given water right away. The staff hadn’t even brought us water and we had been there before the family. The staff’s excuse to why they were taking so long was that they had a new system. We left after waiting 40 minutes and still no service.
Very good food and service.
We love My Thai, food is amazing and really nice staff
Great food. Great service.
Came by for some fried rice, and I was not disappointed. Spicy Fried Rice at level 4 was easy to handle*, very flavorful (I often eat spicy food). Friendly staff and prompt service. Apologizes for no photos. Overall, $70 for two plates, drinks, and an appetizer.

Good food. Really enjoyed the Pad Thai and satay chicken. Service is great and the price was good as well. I've been here a few times and I plan on eating here every month or so.
Service was on point from the moment thru the door. Food is killer and affordable. The setting could be a little more cozy. Definitely going back.
Nice dishes and very good.
I loved my son's chicken curry plate 🍛 . My plate wasn't flavored and insipid. It was meat and asparagus... Don't ask for it, please 🙏
I ordered foor on March 4, 2024 at 5:30 pm. Was i formed that my food would be ready between 6:30-6:45 which is cool cause their busy. I got to the restaurant after killing some time and was informed that the hey did not have my order. I had a confirmation and I was charged. They couldnt find it so I had to re-order and pay again. I have being trying to resolve the reimbursement issue and its still pending. I have called and told to go in but when I do its closed and it cant get resolved on phone apparently so its March 11, 2024 and im still trying to resolve my reimbursement. Idk but its annoying
Great for Dine in! Lovely service, attentive staff. The food is amazing! I myself love the Pad Thai.
Take out on normal days outside of meal rushes is great, I usually do take out around 1:30 pm, and it's never usually busy. I would like it if they would automatically include a fork with my takeout, as I sometimes eat in my car, but I always forget to ask for a fork.
Only thing would be I would not recommend taking out on holidays as the computer system is often overloaded and you can't get through to the phones.
Everything here is great. You will not be disappointed.
Robin, yes most of the food was good, except the Sweet and Sour Pork was not so good.
Very busy, but service was ok.
Don’t go out of your way
Delicious and very vegan friendly.
I placed a phone order here by accident thinking that it was the Palm Springs location. I wasn’t aware that there were 2 locations. The order was for a medical office so I couldn’t go all the way to La Quinta to pick it up, so I called to cancel it. A lady from the restaurant calls me back after I had called to cancel and she was telling me to be more careful when ordering that and that I made them lose money because the order was around $80. The lady was upset at me. I told her that that is their job to ask and make sure people are ordering from the right location. I don’t think this is the first time something like that happens. It was weird how the lady called me back and was upset at me. I made a mistake and I called to apologize and cancel the order.
Also we often spend over $100 and tip the Palm Springs location every time we put a phone order.
Food is good...but the cost per size of serving is below average. I have noticed this is common in the desert area. High dollar for small portions.
Delicious food, good service staff, I'm quite satisfied!
A Thai restaurant is considered good when the owner and cooks argue in Thai. Upon entering, the strong spicy aromas confirmed my belief that the food would be delicious. I couldn't help but crave dishes like Som Tam salad and Prad Prik King, followed by mango sticky rice. The food here is enjoyable, although it is not inexpensive, except for places like IN-N-OUT. Today, I wanted to challenge my taste buds and considered eating the Thai pepper, despite being warned against it. Unfortunately, I ran out of coconut water and refused to drink the tap water. Luckily, the sweet sticky rice with mango provided relief from the spiciness. This restaurant is a great choice for a date, as long as both individuals are comfortable with the scent of fish sauce on their breath.
The food and the service was so good !! I will definitely be coming here again 😋❤️
Food was good but web site was $14.95 for lunch there it was $15.95. Portion size was enough. Service could have better for an empty place.
Excellent food. The My Thai fried rice is my go to. Have some sparkling sake. Yellow Curry lunch special with the soup, can’t beat it.
Always love this place
They take orders from the mafia- pecans . Asking for my money back.
Great service and delicious food. Highly recommend.
THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS HERE!! Being gluten free, I’m always so stoked to find GF friendly restaurants. The food is terrific. I order the Chicken Pad Se Ew, they use a wide gluten free noodle and gluten free Tamari soy sauce to accommodate.
It's was a nice dinner, but compared with the previous Thai restaurants (and my years in Thailand) here in my review I will give a 3⭐️
Ive given this place 5 tries & every time its been watered down trash. Nothing even remotely similar to authentic thai food ( i lived in thailand for 4 months in 2019) its bland. Watery & overall just extremely weak.
Dont waste your money.
This is not Thai food. This is some other unknown cuisine. I had Prik King, and makes me not want to come back. It's a shame, I used to like this place years ago. And prices for a vegetarian dish at $18/$20? Not worth it.
Mediocre food. Not terrible, but not great.
I cant believe i'm taking away stars from this place but the service we received was shocking to say the least. We ordered our food over the phone like normal. The girl even repeated the order back to us correctly but when we got home we noticed our order was wrong. We called them to ask for a refund and the same girl said "Learn how to say the words right hunny, sorry" and then hung up on us. We called back and were finally able to get the refund. The food is good but not good enough.
I was given a window of 50-90 minutes for my order to be ready for pick up and was told that they will update me through email. They accepted my order and payment at 6;50. I received an email 1 hour and 15mins later saying my order was ready. We were there in five minutes as we live very close by. The chicken satay and the pot stickers were cold to touch and the pad Thai and fried rice was barely warm. The food was tasty though! I disagree with leaving a tip the front end of the service, especially for above mentioned reasons.
Very little food for $20-30......too bad......right idea, bad managment. There were a few takeout orders being picked up but only 4 people dining there at 6pm........buyer beware!!
Our food was excellent. Our waiter was awesome. We hope to be back.
I recently dined at My Thai in La Quinta, California, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food is overpriced for what it is, and to make matters worse, my order was incorrect for the third time in two weeks. The service staff seemed indifferent to my dissatisfaction. Even if my order had been correct, the food was just OK and not worth the high prices. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Avoid this place.
The food here is very delicous
The food here is amazing.when We came we were starving when we came to the restaurant and we thought that the food was going to come fast but we were waiting for such a long time. They gave our drinks 15 minutes ( more like an hour,) after we got our drinks everyone started to finish it before we could even get our food. I think that this restraint deserves 3 stars
Wait time for food was pretty long but they delivered it all at the same time in the end. The food was great, and was my best experience with any Thai place. The staff was pretty friendly too.
delicious Thai food
Came for lunch (ate it in) and asked for another lunch special to do. Waiter took the order and brought the check that was $32 for to go order instead of $15 advertised in their menu. When I asked what’s happening, she said we don’t sell lunches to go. Even though I dined in and she didn’t mention anything when I placed my to go order. $69 lunch instead of $40 total with tips. Never again.
Disgusting. Pad Thai tasted like really bad cafeteria spaghetti. Curry was flavorless starch with boiled paper thin chicken strips in a watery sauce with over boiled mushy peanuts. Prison inmates would have chosen the bologna sandwich over it. I took the garbage out so it wouldn’t be in the kitchen overnight.
Some of the best Thai food I've had.
11-12-2020 Sat night, my wife's Bday. My wife and I Sat on the bar side, it was less busy than the main side. The bartender (also our waiter) was so rude to me, I thought I was on some joke TV special. (Candid camera came to mind). When he came to take our order, I started by saying, "We would like to have...." I always order for the both of us because Thai food is usually served family style, for the whole table. He immediately turned his back to me and asked my wife for her order. I couldn't believe it! It was so bizarre and deliberately rude to me. So my wife did all the ordering. We ordered chic satay, tom kha kai pot, green Thai curry and Pad Thai. He treated satay and pad thai like it was mine, treated curry like my wife's. . He never smiled once. He served the Pad Thai, then said Curry isn't ready. Shouldn't the main dishes be served together? 15min later, curry never came. We got hungry waiting and almost finished the noodles. He finally showed and said our order was given to someone else! I said to just give us the check. This JOKER came back and placed the bill in front of my wife, didn't even look at me! Are you freaking kidding me! Not sure we will be back . Not if this clown is working.
I owned a Thai restaurant and I can tel that these guys are very authentic thai.
Clean and good service
Great food, good quality, great staff. We went here for lunch and we were a party of 10 people. They accommodated us together and service was fast. Their coconut water is great. I got a chicken green curry which was nice. Good portion size. My favorite was the mango sticky rice which we got for dessert. I recommend this place for its value for money and the food quality.
Just enjoyed my first visit to My Thai. My wife and I were very impressed. I look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu. Tonight we had Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and egg rolls. Everything was perfect
The staff was great. My first time here and won’t be my last.! The food was amazing. If you get a chance go there you won’t be disappointed ever! Thank you Joey, Rosario for everything!!
First time there great food nice and late very clean service was tremendous I will definitely return
I had the Combination Pad Thai & it was Amazing and the service was great! Definitely recommend 👌🏽
10 out of 10
Was excited to try, but was extremely disappointed to the point that my family and I had to get up and leave. The waiter ( A older, thick, sweaty man) was extremely rude our entire time there. I thought maybe he was just having a tough day so we let it pass a few times. But, He kept yelling at us, made smart remarks saying something about reading the menu correctly, which then he realized he was the one who wasn’t reading correctly, he came and tossed napkins at our table. POOR customer service!!
Super disappointed.
Ordered ‘green papaya’ salad, got green beans instead. Also, the menu prices do not match the bill prices. The ‘pomegranate’ martini - very good- though should had been topped to the ‘rim’ like a classy martini. The Thai - hotels know this. This is an advice, not a statement as to whether I would return.
Great service, great food .
Thanks My Thai!
So happy I discovered this place. The Thai Mule and Mai Thai are incredibly smooth and the ratio of their ingredients is incredible. We also ordered pot stickers and the pad thai. Great food and great service. I truly hope this restaurant gets the attention it deserves so it can expand.
This is our new favorite Thai restaurant for a quick lunch. We ordered Satay Chicken, Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon, as our starters. Shrimp Fried rice and Chow Mein Noodles, as our entrees and some of the BEST Tom Kha Soup we have ever had!!
I'm not a big fan of the satay chicken and the crab rangoon is better on some days and not on others, so it's kinda hit and miss.
Overall, we enjoy our meals very much.
Great food and really good service. Pad Thai and green curry were excellent.
It was by far the best Thai food I've been to.
Thanks a lot!
I’m literally still sitting in the restaurant writing the review because I had to. Portion sizes: great! Taste: scrumptious (I got the pork spicy fried rice).
You know that feeling when you're eating something good and you take a bite and it's like your taste buds have awakened to an explosion of flavor and all of a sudden thats all you want to eat for like a week straight? Get that feeling again when you try the MyThai Fried Rice. They put shrimp, beef, and chicken in the rice, then stir-fry it in some type of curry powder and add cashews too! Anyway, It’s not like the typical fried rice you get someplace - the flavor will leave you wanting more… even though I could hardly finish because the portion was HUGE lol. But going back for seconds is totally acceptable if you can fit it all. Highly recommend. My friend had the the Pla Goong Salad and she said it was really good too. So give My Thai a try! ☺️
If I'm being honest, I just love the name: Drunken Noodle! 🤪 It's like you're eating a party! And these noodles are so delicious, they might just make you want to do that.
But beyond the name, there's so much to love about this dish: the noodles have an incredibly spicy flavor and the onion and bamboo bring texture, while the basil leaves and bell peppers give it just a (slightly) sweet taste.
All in all? This is one party that needs to be on your plate!
We love My Thai for take away, but they always forget to put in the extra rice we order
Overall a very nice experience. Food came very fast, they have an army of chefs. The reason for 4 stara though is i feel the Friesh Spring Rolls with shrimp have very little shrimp in them. You get 6 pieces and each one has half a piece of shrimp. Portion size on the noodles is very big.
Very disappointed. Bigger portions does not always equate to better quality. Sadly the Pad Thai was very bland and lacked any real significant flavor! The restaurant looked nice though, maybe if I’ll try something else if I ever go back. Good effort, flavor was just not there.
Authentic, excellent Thai food. Made from scratch,. Fresh , quality food.. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. Reasonably priced.
Good Thai flavors very nice staff reasonable prices
Good food, good service, even though they were busy
First time visiting this restaurant. Several friends and I ordered takeout and everyone was happy with it. I ordered cashew chicken, it was a little spicier than I normally like but it was delicious. A couple of my other friends go there on a regular basis and I can see why. When I'm in La Quinta I will definitely visit them again
My favorite Thai restaurant in the area
All food delicious!
Delicious food, big portions, friendly staff. 5 stars all around!
I've enjoyed everything here. My favorite is the Ginger Fish. Great staff. Quick service. Yum!
Great!!!
I absolutely love My Thai! Please don’t listen to these low reviews that complain about their prices and services. If you’ve worked in customer service, especially food & beverage, you’d understand that certain changes are necessary in order to keep the business running. Also, you’d understand that we are still very much in a pandemic and many places are short staffed and are doing the best they can. Any current or past servers/restaurant managers/owners reading this understand what it is like to be short staffed all while trying to accommodate every customer in a timely manner. It’s very stressful and people need to be a little more understanding when deciding to eat out. My Thai has incredible food, drinks, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend the My Thai Fried Rice. It’s my absolute favorite. My family and I also really love their desserts.
If you’re looking for a great Thai place in La Quinta- this is the place to go!
The food is just ok, and the service is terrible. It takes forever to get waited on if you are there in person, and if you want to order food over the phone, they do not answer the phone. The restaurant changed their hours of operation, but their website isn't updated...just another one of those things that show how little they care about customer service.
Not at all a resemblance of Thai people or Thailand. I won't go back to My Thai restaurant.
Good food
We waited an hour and a half for our takeout food from here. Doesn’t matter how good it is when you have to wait that long. They weren’t accommodating about it / offering us anything - just making excuses that their kitchen is backed up. We almost walked out.
Honestly, the best pot stickers ever. You must try them!
Food was delicious! Had red curry with tofu, shrimp fried rice the manager served us at the bar ( it was busy) he was super friendly, made a great Manhattan and conversation! Atmosphere is just ok.. will return and order take out during our visit. Thank you!
Great food, nice service, excellent portion sizes, fair prices.
I get takeout quite often from this place probably about twice a month. I put in my online order at 4:45 and was said to pick it up by 5:30 when I got there there was about 15 other people waiting for takeout orders and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed.
I work in restaurants myself and I have never seen an expo line looks so disorganized, the white woman working in the front seem to be trying her hardest but kept waving people off when they were asking how long it would take. Their manager jumped behind the line where I didn’t think that was necessary he should’ve been helping the girls in the front reorganize their expo line because I saw food sitting there for well over 30 minutes on orders that were probably already done. I ended up getting a refund and walking out because I was so frustrated with the lack of communication between staff and customers. You’re better than this My Thai. Slow it down. Don’t overwhelm yourself.
I'm sorry but this is my first time here at my Thai and it did not came as advertised there's nothing authentic about this place...it'll be my first and last.
Food quality and menu selection is excellent. Jack is a great bartender!
Delicious!!!!
I had a very long wait for my pickup order. Well worth it, food is phenomenal. I saw everyone in the kitchen working their butts off to make everyone's in house and pickup orders and wanted to know how to tell the owner how good everyone everyone was doing...the man who gave me my order pointed the owner out who was currently on the line cooking everyone's food. I cannot recommend this place enough. Their new bar is awesome, their food is always incredible and they clearly care about everyone's experience. Support local spots like this.
Nice place, friendly staff. There is a full bar on one side, so we ate there. Food is very good. The Talay soup was full of seafood and delicious.
Pork Larb. Delicious.
Terrible wait times… Called to order ahead of pickup for lunch and was told the food would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived they hadn’t even started making my order. There were three cooks in the back but only one was making food. The host/waiters just shrugged at me and didn’t try to help at all. On top of that there were only 3 tables dining in. It took over 1 hour before I left with my food. As the other reviews suggest, the restaurant should be honest about the wait times. Why make your customers hangry if you know you can’t meet the expectations that you yourselves set?
Food was wonderful! We will definitely come back again. Servers were very attentive and friendly!
Food was disgusting. It was 8:35 they close at 9. She made me feel like I was lucky to order food I walked out at 8:40 and the door was locked to get back in. I got the beef salad it was oversalted and just plain terrible. Lotus takes a minute to put some love in there there was no lime in it barely anything to give it flavor like 2 strips of onion. It was all bad $23.33 later. Made me feel like I was lucky do you even get in there. It's been a while Since I had some Thai food. I should have gone to weiner schnitzel. Completely disappointed. going to ask for a refund tomorrow we'll see what happens
Would give this place zero stars if I could. Food is mediocre and the management is even worse! Ordered to go was told 20 minutes and when it took over an hour waiting was told oh well we only have one cook. When I responded with that’s fine than you should be honest with patrons when they order if you know it’s taking over a hour they said oh well. We’re not doing that if you want to leave a bad review go ahead we look forward to it!
Excellent Thai food. Meats were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were as fresh as they can be. Puts all other Thai restaurants in the area to shame.
First time here. Food was delicious and service was just great. We would definitely come back again. Highly recommended
Excellent! Had a nice dinner, both of us got the Pad Soo Ew, flat noodles stir fried with broccoli in a sweet soy sauce, one with beef, the other with shrimp. Soooo gooood!
Try the Thai Mule, a spin on the Moscow Mule, really yum!
The staff was super friendly and attentive, drinks were topped off quickly.
I like how the kitchen was visible, and you could see the chefs kicking up fire as they make the plates, adding to the fun ambiance of the restaurant.
The place was decorated well, with the King's picture on the wall, as a real Thai place should have 😁
This is THE place! I go here often to get take out. If I had friends I would dine in🤣 I usually get the chicken wings, papaya salad, pineapple fried rice and deep fried fish. You can specify on a scale of 1-5 how spicy you want everything. The staff is very friendly and a few know me by name now. I will always continue to go here
The food is good comfort, the best soup wanton, and the Shrimp my Thai. It is good location, you can order to go as well! But they are close on Summer July and August. All the employee have a little break. Definitely go back again if you want Thai food just check this out.
This was exactly what I was craving! Both things we ordered (spicy fried rice, red curry) were so delicious! I just want to keep eating but I'm so full! Some of the best Thai food I've eaten in a while. We got ours level three spicy and it was flavorful and delicious but not too burning hot 😁 although you will need your water. Highly recommend! Thank you My Thai for a wonderful dinner!
Didnt even get to the part of ordering food because the first person who answered the phone was rude and spoke waaaaay to fast to even understand and when i aksed to put in an order to go she transfered me to someone else who got on the phone and was rude as well!! They didnt deserve my business if thats how theyre treating me on the phone I can only imagine what theyd be doing to my food. Called another thai place in town immediately after and their service was great!
NO!!! Probably the worst Thai food in the Valley or that we've ever had anywhere.
Curries are watery like soup and flavorless. We had to hunt for the chicken in the barely passable pad thai and nothing tasted vaguely authentic. We've eaten Thai in top Thai restaurants in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong and L.A. and this is nowhere near them. In fact Talay Thai right here in Rancho Mirage blows this out of the water at the prices.
Never again.
We got takeout for our first time, yesterday- Simply the best spring rolls i've ever had, they have basil in them, genius. Definately a more "americanized" thai flavor, the only reason it wasn't 5 stars is because they didn't give us the brown rice we ordered and paid for
Great place and really yummy food!
One of the best places to eat in the desert.
