A light-filled space serving classic Thais dishes in a family-friendly setting with modern decor.
Cute, clean restaurant with easy parking. Greeted by friendly woman who was taking orders, running food, refilling glasses, cashing people out, and managing the take out orders. It was not too busy (which is what I was looking for) so it seemed very manageable.
As appetizers, I ordered the crispy egg rolls (X5 pieces) and the fried calamari (X10 pieces). Portions were generous. Both the egg rolls and calamari were tasty and served with sweet and sour sauce. I was initially worried because my first piece of calamari was rubbery but the other 3 pieces I ate were great. I had 3 egg rolls & 6 pieces of calamari left over which will crisp up nice in the air fryer for dinner tomorrow.
As my main dish, I ordered pad see yew with chicken (spicy = 2 / medium). Very generous serving size with leftovers for lunch tomorrow (most likely 2 lunches!). The level 2 spice had warmth but wasn't hot enough to make my nose run. It was a very flavorful dish. If I had chili paste at the table, I probably would have gotten bolder and added a little more heat by the end of my meal (see below). I have learned, however, to choose the lower of 2 levels of spice when I'm not sure. It's much easier to add a little more than to enjoy your meal with your mouth on fire!
A spoonful of coconut ice crab was included as dessert. I don't remember the last time I had ice cream so it was a yummy treat!
Thai Delight offers a lunch menu which I always love and like to know about. I came on a Sunday so the lunch menu was not available so I'll have to return during the week sometime.
I had a few comments which made my review 4 stars instead of 5:
There are no condiments on the table. I'm sure they would have brought me some but I sometimes like to doctor my food during the meal to play with flavor and heat so I like the condiments at the table (i.e soy sauce, chili paste).
The appetizers were brought at the same time as the pad see yew. Sometimes, when restaurants prepare food very quickly, this happens, but I waited a decent amount of time for my food. I think this could have been timed better.
They charge an extra 3.5% "convenience" fee for credit cards and debit cards. It seems like this is becoming more common, which I find incredibly annoying. Paying the credit card company is YOUR tax deductible cost of doing business as a restaurant! I don't know the last time I paid with cash and many more people are moving to cashless forms of payment. Everyone's expenses are going up. I'm providing you with business and I spent a decent amount of money here and I am a generous tipper. I don't need to be paying for your fees too! I'm starting to keep track so I only go to restaurants who don't pass yet another cost and INconvenience on to me.
We do takeout here about every other month. Dine in on occasion. Great food to feed a lot of people. But this last time I was here was very degrading. I eat gluten free. They would not give me a bowl of curry and rice for about 40 minutes. I sat at the table while my employees ate their food, gave me a plate with lettuce on it, then I had to wait 40 minutes before they handed me a handwritten letter for me to sign saying I wouldn’t hold them liable if there was gluten in my curry. After eating here so frequently and bringing employees to the facility after telling them how good it was, it was really embarrassing! Makes me hesitant to come again.
My Mom took me here for the first time and I was very impressed! The ambience is relaxing, the service was wonderful - always refilling our drinks, and THE food.. omg do I dare say this is one of the best Thai food I've ever had... it's so authentic and flavorful! The crabpuffs were crispy with the right amount of balanced ingredients. I ordered the yellow curry and it was beyond flavorful compared to 90% of others I've tried in AZ. The BBQ chicken reminds me of Chicken Satay and the Sticky Rice with Mango was so refreshing. I had a Thai tea, which tasted original as well, not too sweet and perfectly brewed. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!
This is our favorite Thai restaurant. We always get the appetizer platter and red curry, sometimes tom yum soup....today we tried the pork delight.....amazing! We go out of our way for this flavor, always have left overs, and the complimentary coconut ice cream always cools the palate after Thai spice #4. Update, we went down to spice #3 it seems to be getting hotter. Tried the glass noodle salad , very flavorful! Service here is always fast and friendly, food is consistently amazing!
Update, we have stuck to our favorites for years but decided to try salads and other dishes. Cashew delight with combination seafood and mango salad are incredible. Sweet and sour chicken is very flavorful. We try different dishes and love all of them. As already stated everything here is amazing!
We decided to stop by for lunch on a whim, never knew the place existed before driving by it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the good service and amazing food. The curry was out of this world and even the fried items tasted fresh. We will certainly be stopping by again and recommending to friends.
We decided to try this place after a long day at IKEA. I'm giving it 4 stars because the wait was longer than expected - though very friendly service and really good flavors!
The place looked brand new, super clean, and with a decent (talking) level music as background that added to the nice ambiance.
If you're are undecided on appetizers, try the sampler (Thai Delight), it has a little bit of all the signature Thai appetizers to share.
The noodle soup was more than plenty to share and delicious! We had the one with the protein mix.
The papaya salad was very fresh and had a nice spicy kick!
Great food and prompt service
Very delicious!!!
Great food. Generous lunch portions. Their spicy scale is on the low side. I should have ordered hot instead of medium. But it was delicious anyway.
Went there for the first time and will not go back. Our server was very rude. All of our food came out at separate times with the last person in our party receiving their food 20 mins after the 1st person received theirs. Also they charge a 3.5% fee to use a credit card. Poor business practice. Will NOT be going back.

Don’t order over the phone. They’ll wait until you get there to put the order in and then the kitchen lady will scream at you from the back for wanting a refund and tell you to never come back. Crazy they can afford to ostracize customers when they’re literally never busy. What a joke. It’s overpriced anyway.

We were very suprised that this small store in a strip mall had such good food. Good portions, enough for dinner and take home.
Update!
We had a group of 30 and the waitress was excellent! She was phenomenal. Thank you so much for making us feel like family. She remembered everyone's orders and kept asking if we needed refills or other items. She did a great job! The kitchen staff also did amazing. They were fast. Delicious food!
Delicious Thai food. The price was perfect. The amount of food we got was way more than we expected...the owner gave us free ice cream.
Edited my previous 5 star review, I’ve been coming here for a while and it used to be great, but their operational practices have become weird. They close at 9 but lately if I call between 7-8 they tell me the kitchen is closed and I can’t order so I’m really unsure of what their actual hours of operation are. Didn’t use to be like this and kinda sad.
Amazing food, great service, and complimentary coconut ice cream that was delicious! Would definitely come back if I’m in the area. Great portions as well.
Great thai food
I got food poisoning from this place. I also spent the night in the hospital due to excessive vomiting and diarrhea. I call to speak to the manager regarding the food and they did nothing but use profanity and hung up on me. Now all I want is a refund of my $45. Don’t go here and eat!!! You might spend the night in the hospital!!! Be warned!!
Delicious food
With massive portions
Always good. Our go to take out.
Awesome! Best Thai in Phoenix. Plus delicious coconut ice cream!
This place is the bomb! Great food, large portions, awesome staff, we always have left overs!
Love this place! Tom Yum soup, panang curry, and the coconut ice cream are my go to options but everything I have tried has been very good. Service is always great.
Authentic Thai - family owned + Insanely good. Even better than I remembered.
Food and service was very good!
I honestly don't know what is going on here. There is one lady that makes this place insufferable to deal with. There are to many other Thai places in the area to deal with this nonsene. I have noticed in the reviews that multiple others are having similar issues with this lady as well. She is going to be the reason this place shuts down.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Thai restaurant. We politely asked for vegetables in our soup and curry. Server said, we can't add any extra what we have is what we put. Terribly rude answer. When food came, we noticed they were missing veggies. Our veggie tom yum had NO veggies!. When we inquired about it, the server shockingly took our dishes and rudely told us to leave. This was by far the worst dining experience we've ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I didn't even know it's possible to be kicked out of a restaurant simply for requesting veggie in your soup!!
Something strange is a foot at the Thai Delight. It used to be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️but something has changed recently. The last two times we ordered our usual favorites and they tasted completely different than in the past and not nearly as good. Sadly we need to find a new place now to get our Thai fix. I miss the yummy food they used to make. It was the best.
Rethink before going to this place. Staff are so rude. I called them for lunch take out. And I have asked for drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables. So the staff person over the phone asked me noodles come with veggies why are you mentioning in particular. I said it happened in the past that I got only noodles with tofu but no the veggies init so I was just casually mentioning. She shouted to another person that you dint give her veggies in the past . And the other staff person may be the chef shouted back saying ask her not order food or don't come to the restaurant. Then they started talking in their language keeping me online. I was confused and I was trying to explain it happened in the past don’t remember when exactly and she suddenly responded our chef doesn’t want to cook for you and she cut my call. I was so confused, mad and frustrated.Since when it became a sin to order what I want? Is this how they treat their customers?? Shame on them.
We came in looking forward to enjoying a meal at our regular Thai spot. A middle-aged Thai lady approached our table to take our order and we asked one simple question: “Are you guys still serving lunch?” She gave us the rudest look, scoffed, and said, “Well, if you wanted to have lunch you should’ve came in earlier.”
My husband and I sat there in disbelief at her response to our genuine question. We shared an uncomfortable smile and told her that we would need a few minutes to decide on our order. We ended up just walking out of the restaurant.
My husband later came back in, and tried to politely speak with anyone—there was a guy at the front who he spoke to and explained that we didn’t appreciate the service and that this has been a place we’ve been coming to often. The lady suddenly came out and refused to listen to any feedback, angrily stating, “If you don’t like it, then leave! We don’t need you.”
What. In. The. World. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a restaurant, and we’re both very reasonable and polite people. After that encounter, we decided it wasn’t worth giving this place our money anymore.
Friday night it clearly says it closes at 9:30 PM. I got there at 8:30 PM and they refused service saying at this time you can only order to go. Totally unprofessional and unreliable
Great food here with excellent portions. It's always fresh, and it's a family owned restaurant.
Used to be my favorite place. The portions are generous but the taste and food quality has gone down in recent months. And the staff aren't as friendly. My experiences are now hit and miss so I guess I'll fond another Thai restaurant.
This small restaurant is tucked away just off Chandler Blvd such that you might miss it, but it is definitely worth your notice! Excellent Thai food, both for dine-in and take-out, a nice seating area, and great service are all what will bring me back to this place.
I especially love the spicy curried fish (the flavor of the kaffir lime leaves puts it over the top into true delicious territory).
The lunch deals are a great value, and at dinner you get some refreshing ice cream to end your meal.
2024 Update: with some management changes, it is looking like the value and quality aren't as good as they used to be. Still excellent food for the most part (my last pork delight order was disappointing, but the pad thai and spicy curried fish were still very good), but it's harder to place orders for pick-up and in addition to menu prices rising, there's now a 3.5% fee for credit card purchases (and you'll be asked to give your CC info over the phone when you order for pickup instead of paying on arrival, so be prepared for that).
Unfortunately after coming here regularly for five years we won’t be back. I can’t ignore the hurtful customer service and negative energy anymore. Legitimately sad. Take care and I hope you find your peace and joy again.❤️🩹
ETA: lying about vegan dishes is disturbingly disappointing
I got the chicken satay with mango sticky rice which made me experience culinary nirvana!
The chicken satay had notes of warm and smoky maple and caramel as well as flavorful spices.
The peanut sauce was creamy smooth, sweet and savory.
The sticky rice was savory with a hint of coconut and sweet, and the mango was tender.
The coconut ice cream was a gentle, mildly sweet, and refreshing way to finish everything off.
Our favorite Thai food in Ahwatukee…huge portions
Absolute yum! Right off the I-10 on Chandler Boulevard a must stop for a Thai food lover
excellent Thai take-out, very flavorful, we'll be back
I was told all they're dishes could be made vegan and called to order a few days later to be told that they can't be made vegan because the curry comes with fish sauce in it. Definitely not trusting this place to serve me vegan food anymore...
Lied and said their green curry does not have shrimp paste. My cousin could have died. The fat girl chef is the one who told the thai girl to lie.
Liars liars liars
We have eaten here a lot and we have always been more than happy. The size of the dishes, the rice always perfect, we love their consistency they do the noodles, they actually know what spicy means lol..I've had yellow curry with every meat, green curries, spring rolls, soups, all amazing. The people who have served us there have all been great, will keep passing lots of other spots to go here. It's our favorite!
This establishment is beyond stellar! From the impeccable service to the overall restaurant cleanliness to the food - I have zero complaints! The portion size is an added bonus, something that I as a 250 lb man don’t say often. In addition, the pricing is decent as well. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore if I wanted to! 10/10 must patronize 🙌🏼
My friend and I were in the Phoenix area for the last night of our vacation and stopped in...so delicious! Great vegetarian options, I had the Sweet and Sour Tofu! Service was great, staff was continuously stopping by to check in and refill drinks. I was so full and had probably half my plate left to take with me. Would definitely recommend, I wish this was close to where I live!
We’ve been going to Thai Delight for a few years now and have always loved the food. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with great flavors, this is the place to go. Rating it lower because they recently implemented a 20% gratuity on all bills (regardless of the size of your party- it was only my husband and I). The service is usually good but I’m not a fan of automatically having to pay 20% more- even if service is not great.
Always great food and great service.
So I don’t know if the management has changed in the last few months or what but this place has gone down hill ! I have been dining here for the last two years and have never had a problem. However the last two times have been awful. today I ordered food and it was extremely overcooked. When I called to let them know the customer service was laughable. The lady who answered the phone had no clue what to do so you kept going back and forth with the person in the back. They told me the person who handles these “issues” was gone for the day. I asked for the guys name so I could call him tomorrow and she literally replied “I don’t know his name.” The food is not cheap so I expect it to be edible and I expect you to be treated better when I am spending my money!
We love this place. Great friendly service. Large portion sizes. Every dish we've tried has been delicious
The Thai restaurant near us was closed so we drove a bit to find a new favorite. The service and food were excellent. The portions are generous and the menu had a lot of variety. We will be back!
Zero respect for customers
They are only focused on their to go orders, when i sat down for dining there was no one in the restaurant, they made me wait more than 30 minutes and when i asked how long it will take, they said they are focussing on their to go orders
Had the Pad see ew NOT GOOD. Eat this at many Thai places and never had it like this. My partner had the wonton soup NOT GOOD. has garlic in it. I've lived in Asia and I eat lots of Asian soups in the US and this was really off. My friends live this place so maybe we picked two bad dishes, but the need to fix the pad see ew it's was simply and nothing like most places
First time in. Tried the tofu pad-Thai and was not disappointed. Very tasty.
Excellent dessert: Sticky Rice with mango. Was surprised with the contrast of sweet and salt & cold and warm. Taste buds were please. Very friendly service as well. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
Poor attitude and customer service doesn’t taste good.
Very good food and service was great!
Over all food is great! But experience with older light skin Thai lady have a rude attitude. Kill the vibe of my food and made my visit unpleasant. She even followed us to the door asking for a tip. Sorry lady I don't tip your rude attitude. You don't spoon feed me my food so no tip. Especially for two people why she asking for the tip!? But older Thai lady and white guy had neagitve attitude made my dinner experience Bad!
We ordered Yellow Curry, and it was worst i have ever had, I can only taste turmeric in curry. Customer service was also not good.
Ordered a mild spice dish tonight, while hubby and son ordered medium and hot, to go. All three dishes were way too spicy but I’m the one who can’t tolerate it, hence my mild spice ordered, as usual.
Called the restaurant and told them. Asked if I brought the meal back could they remake a mild one for me so I could swap out once there. Was told to bring my meal back but they would have to “look at”my meal and I would have to wait for a new meal to be made.
When I arrived, a gal took my meal into the kitchen. The owner came back out with my meal and stated “this is mild.” I explained that it is the meal I often get and I never have any issue eating it. I asked how he knows it’s mild and he said they tasted my meal. He went in to say that if they remake it it would taste “exactly the same.” Well, that’s ridiculous! No doubt it could be made with min to no spice. I said ok then, how about a refund for my meal. He refused. So I walked out with no new meal
and no refund! Unreasonable and simply horrible customer service!!!! Second run in with this rude owner. Will not go back. Beware as I really don’t know how this guy stays in business like this!!!!
Service is always short and very rude !
My husband and I love to get our Thai food here! The food is delicious. We love to come here knowing we will have leftovers.
Not so good and also it's more expensive
Went here twice and best Thai since living in NJ. I visited another on the same trip and this was better.
one waitress for 10 tables! she was rude, mixed the spiciness of our order - i couldnt eat mine- we asked for all the food be brought together, she brought mine first and my party 's TWENTY minutes later. she walked away while i was asking a question, and hit my elbow when she brought the check, with the tray even when there was enough space on the table to put the tray. food is ok, service is horrible.
This spot was recommended by friends so we went the other night and boy were they right. We ordered Pannag with chicken, Larb, Tom yum soup, and Hawaiian beef. All were great with good flavor, nice portions with the medium heat. Yum Yum. I pit this on my eat again list you should too.
Amazing food!!! We went on Sunday with a big group and got: Crab puffs, Delight platter, Chicken satay, and Pot stickers for appetizers. All were great - the crab puffs are quite possibly the best I have ever eaten. Then for entrees we got yellow curry, panang curry, pumpkin curry, drunken noodles, and pad see-ew. my favorites were the panang curry and pumpkin curry - absolutely amazing flavor and great portions for everything. All were great except maybe just not the drunken noodles (but that was my first time eating drunken noodles so it could just be me). The only thing I have negative about the place is just the interior/decor. It's clean - nothing wrong there. But nothing about this looks like a Thai restaurant. Nothing about a pallet wall says Thai or asian influence. If I walked in without knowing where I was... I would probably think I was at a burger joint. That aside - service and food were both flawless so I will definitely be back
Main point: eat here. This would be my go to if I lived here. ✅
I’m here for work and was craving Thai food. After having some decision fatigue with the other options I finally decided on this spot.
I am mainly vegetarian and don’t do fish/fish sauce and was able to order the Red Curry with fried tofu. I normally order 2 star at Thai spots but the kind host told me it’d be fairly spicy on its own so I trusted her and I was very glad I did. Red curry was absolutely delicious, with a huge portion, and I barely touched the spice I asked for on the side. As I enjoyed my wonderful meal I got full…and surprise! I still had over half to box up and enjoy for leftovers tomorrow night.
Speaking of my overall experience, the playlist was off the hook. Sza, Daniel Caeser, Pink Sweat$. Felt like I was being serenaded on top of the endorphins from the spice. Only thing missing was my husband.
When I thought the dinner couldn’t go any better the waitress arrived with complementary strawberry 🍓 ice cream.
I am already planning my return in 2 days. ✨
First time at a Tai restaurant. Boy have I missed out! We all loved it! Everything was absolutely prefect.
So this review hurts me to write, because I truly do love this place. My boyfriend and I come here frequently, we're usually helped by either a male or female server (I would say late 20s-mid 30s, both are amazing). We've also talked briefly to the owners whom are very sweet people. Today, we stopped in to catch the lunch specials (like usual) and were seated/waited on by a server we've never seen before. After bringing us water she was quick to get our orders in (not complaining, I liked her style. It just felt a bit rushed to me is all). We ordered our meal and when the dishes arrived, my boyfriend noticed the difference in portions. He asked our waitress if these were the lunch servings where she responded no, these are the dinner plates. That the lunch special ends at 3pm, which we were already aware of. So I figured maybe we took too long arriving, you know? Well, throughout the meal she never once checked on us. When she did, it was for boxes and the check. When we got the receipt, my boyfriend and I saw the time stamp of when our order was placed, sure enough it said 2:54pm. We went back and forth debating on addressing the issue, but went through with it. When we pointed out the time to our waitress, she said they were "out of egg drop soup" which is why we didn't get the lunch special. Uhhhh...huh? This irritated me for a couple of reasons because 1. She told us in the beginning the lunch special ends at 3pm. She never once stated it wasn't on for the day due to missing menu items. 2. We arrived before 3pm. 3. Now there's a different reason? What happened to it being a time crucial reason? The way she came off gave the impression that we were at fault and she wasn't. She didn't put forth any effort to make it right. She could've at least gone in back to talk to her manager/boss (or at least pretend), offer some sort of reduction in ticket amount, take a dish off, etc. Anything lol. It's the principal of the matter that bothers me. I would strongly advise letting customers know prior to, or during, the ordering process to avoid mischarging. Clarification never hurts. Especially when the restaurant you work for offers any type of happy hour. Still a really lovely place for food, I'm just disappointed at the way things were handled specifically by this waitress.
the shrimp was cooked to perfection however we also ordered the Hawaiian beef dish and the beef was over cooked or something because it was like chewing on the sole of shoe and hardly edible this was a horrible disappointment. I have never chewed on she leather but i image that is what it is like. The fried rice was good, and the pad thai was also good. unfortunately i had to throw the entire Hawaiian Delight beef dish away in the garbage - it was far from delightful!
Thai Delight is the best Thai restaurant in Ahwatukee, that's it! Excellent food and big portions; What more could I ask for? Basically no "atmosphere" in the restaurant, so take it home and eat great Thai food for the next 2 days!
My favorite Thai restaurant and I drive up from Tucson to eat here. Delicious and flavorful and fresh. Thank you so much
Yeah this place is lit.
The pork in the Thai soup had grizzle and fat on most of it. I did not receive peanut sauce. The spring rolls had cabbage which was not specified on menu. I called to explain these issues and was told not to call again. I would not recommend.
I have reviewed this restaurant before, but I have been coming here for several years… and the food is continually amazing!!
We had Tom Yum soup and House fried rice delivered tonight, and it was delicious! The flavors are exactly what you would crave from a Thai restaurant.
We have also eaten in the restaurant so many times and the staff are always above and beyond.
The portions of food are really large so there is always much to share and/or save.
I just love this place so much I wanted to share great feedback for them!!
The staff is so nice, and the food is amazing! Thanks so much for being another perfect local restaurant for take out when I don't want to cook! :)
From the hotels because it said they closed at 10 PM, they do have a little bit of a homeless population over here and it was a little bit of a scary walk but it’s OK. Only to get there and see that the hours are till 8 PM handwritten on the door. It’s not much, it doesn’t take much I don’t think to give Ghoul an email or something and change your hours….
Come here often live directly across the street only a one minute drive. Ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken and none of the vegetables were cooked. And the chicken was very soggy. We have ordered takeout before and there was no problem in the chef told me that he doesn’t replace dishes Based on dissatisfaction. Even though the veggies were not cooked at all. Please do not order takeout from Thai delight.
My favorite Thai restaurant! Best Pineapple fried rice w/chicken or shrimp. I dig their Mango Delight with chicken as well. And for dessert they have a delicious mango sticky rice dish.
Until tonight this was my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Ordered the mango curry which my daughter and I have had a number of times and loved. Tonight it was extremely spicy even though we ordered it as a spice level 1 (the same as always), and we couldn't eat it. When we complained, they took the dish away added water to it and brought it back. Adding water made it completely unappetizing - the consistency was wrong and the flavor was off. When we complained again the waitress gave us attitide. The manager came out and was completely rude; he didn't listen to us at all and talked down to us. He even told us the waitress had said the dish would be watered down - which she did not. I'm not sure if the ownership changed, but the food does not seem to be the same and the staff no longer seems to care about good customer service.
Food was great with generous portion and price.
We eat here a lot my husband and I. After we were done we went to leave a tip and were told we had to pay the mandatory $10.00 tip, and that the price increased almost double from what we used to paying. A 25.00 meal now cost us over 60.00 dollars. I just wish they would have advised us beforehand. No signs were posted about the changes. I don't have a problem tipping it's the principle of the matter. Mandatory tipping is normal when it's a large party not when it's 2 people.
I love every dish we have tried but we always go back to the pork salad. They are always busy so call ahead.
Had good experiences in the past but this recent visit was so bad that we will never be going back.
Ordered their fresh spring rolls with shrimp, a noodle dish and fried rice. The shrimp in the fresh rolls were warm and slimy (we have ordered these in the past and they have always been good no issues). We told the waiter/host very politely that the shrimp tasted weird and slimy and asked if we could get a new order or order something else. The waiter/host was very rude and said everything is fine and it’s warm because they boil the shrimp. He then scoffed and stormed off to get the owner (I’m assuming). When the owner came to our table, he would not get us something different and said that it’s being made the same way by the same people so nothing is different. When we said we would still pay for it we just want to get different food so we can eat he finally did something by getting us a menu.
The rest of the food was not good, it lacked flavor and the meat was chewy and hard to eat. We will not be returning.
This place is AMAZING !! Best Thai in the valley. much more spice than other restaurants but that’s exactly what I love - other places water it down too much. So fresh and so delicious. Thai food is my favorite food, and i typically get green curry hot or thai hot at all thai places so I have a good baseline to compare too. Can’t recommend enough if you’re obsessed with thai food too.
Note to owner - i think your site is register as a hotel and not a restaurant … lol
Best thai in Chandler!
Awesome food ! 👌👍 Authentic taste and good quantity for every item we ordered. Both the complimentary ice cream and the ice cream we ordered were yummy. Highly recommend eggplant entree, coconut, and strawberry floavors of ice cream here.
excellent and friendly service with excellent food. Part of our family's weekly takout!
Absolutely horrible. Placed a to go order over an hour. Lady at front ran my card then told me they forgot my order. I asked politely for my money back. She said "no" initially. That they could make it real quick. I told her I had to go back to work. I'd like my money back. Again told no. I told her again I had to go back to work. She reluctantly refunded my purchase. This is unacceptable.
Called to place and order for pick up and the guy that answered was rimude and short tempered. I was literally in the midst of odering one of their dishes when he told he he was in a hurry, try ordering online and hung up on me.
Needless to say, they won't be getting any of my money.
Super rude!!!!
Added on an 18 percent tip without permission. Review your receipt before closing.
Very rude & couldn’t take our order back which was wrong ! Also seen the hostess talking about me to the cooks in the back! He avoided eye contact with us as well . Wasn’t a good experience
Very welcoming place the servers here are exceptional good food for the price.
Service was phenomenal! Food was great and was reasonable for the price. Would come again!
delicious and great price, most accurate spicy scale so far, 10 out of 10
This is our favorite Thai restaurant.
7/20/23 Ordered sweet & sour chicken. Chicken was not chewable & breading was mushy. My husband ordered orange chicken & also thought the chicken was dry, tiny pieces, overcooked & breading was mushy. Waiter did not offer something to drink. Just brought water. Music way to loud. We have been here several times & food has always been good. Not this time. Left over food is not worth taking home as it is not good rewarmed. We were celebrating our anniversary. We should of picked some place else. 😒
Love the food!
Very good quality of food, very close to what you get in Thailand. Servings are enormous, we ordered 3 dishes for 2 adults and 2 kids and took more than a half of that back home, so we could enjoy this excellent food on next day's lunch. Also, after the meal, they serve complimentary ice cream which I thought was a very nice gesture. Highly recommended
By far one of my favorites!! The appetizers are bomb cant miss from the fresh egg roles to the crispy ones not to mention the crab puffs to the potstickers!! The pad Thai shrimp is good. The green curry super bomb. You should try it ! Not to mention the staff are super friendly.
The food is amazing. Huge portions of food. Service is great! If you're looking for authentic Thai food this is a must stop!!
Nom, nom, nom. Consistently good. One of our new go-to options.
Great
Cute little mom and pop shop. Super clean. There's not a lot of people running it so don't expect extremely fast service if you're impatient or rude. They're kind and explain everything thoroughly, also taking note of my food allergy which I always appreciate. Food is HOOOOT when it comes out which I love, as it doesn't get cold before you're done eating. Fried foods are CWISPY and browned well. Everything has a lovely flavor and for only having 1 person to check on tables, our drinks were constantly filled and we were checked on often. The orange chicken is super delicious considering it's not really Thai - green curry is off the charts yummy. We also got a complimentary Pina colada ice cream which was a nice touch. I don't usually save a restaurant to make sure I come back to them, but they made my list.
Very rude!!!
I had the #75, omg it was sooo delicious 😋 And the Pineapple Coconut Ice cream is also just as delicious as my main course was.
Food is delicious 😋 #3 spicy is like #7 and it pricey
Best Thai food in Ahwatukee. Service is fast and good
Great food, large quantity, quiet dining and great service.
Service was okay before but they started a mandatory 18% tip for all orders and now the service is worse + all prices increased. Still good Thai food but probably not going back.
Absolutely delicious! My husband and I come here often and always have a wonderful experience. The food always tastes fresh, and I always leave feeling satisfied. The staff are welcoming, kind, and professional. Great for dine-in or takeout! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal and experience.
Thai Delight is a place where we go often. Best Thai spot in Ahwatukee. Portion sizes are amazing for the price and the food is always delicious. Highly recommend.
Large portions of delicious food, plenty of left overs! Very kind server that made our visit pleasant. Coconut ice cream is complimentary and delicious. Would definitely recommend!
The food was amazing! We are traveling from out of town and ordered Thai Delight to our hotel. We were very impressed with the portion sizes, the food was still piping hot when we got it, and most importantly it was delicious! My 4 year old daughter kept telling us how much she was enjoying the food and my husband went as far to say it was the best Thai food he’s ever had.
The BEST Thai food I have ever had in Phoenix! The food was amazing! So much flavor! Cheese rolls were also amazing!
Good Thai food, lots of meat, and at least 2x the portion size of other places from which I've posted pics. We had the green curry, penang curry, and pad siew. They don't skimp on the meat and veggies, and the curry is "just right" spicy per your requested level.
Update: Two months later, still great. I'm now stuffed on Panang Curry and definitely still have enough left for lunch for the next two days.
Used to eat here a lot, but this place has gone downhill. The pork tasted rotten and informed the staff. I think it was the owner that came out and told me "I don't know what to tell you" and just walked off back to the kitchen. No apologies nor offers to fix it. Also no ice cream after our meal. They just hid in the kitchen after we told them.
Absolutely one of the better Thai locations in the valley without a doubt. Curry is always amazingly consistent!
Poor service. My husband and I walked out.
This is our new favorite Thai place! The flavors are excellent and the entree portions are very large, well worth the price. Our group ordered the Green Curry, Red Curry, Mango Chicken, Pad See Ew, and Orange chicken. All were excellent, and the orange chicken was some of the best I’ve had. We enjoyed the coconut ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend stopping here - we only wish we lived closer!
Absolutely without question the best Thai restaurant in the valley, hands down. Clean, staff's friendly and the food is fresh! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
1st time there on Sunday after ot was recommended. Once I got home the portions are huge but disgusting, could not eat it. Spent $57 on two orders and was so disappointed. Only thing that was ok was the white rice. Will not be going back ever again.
Slow and a bit greasy, but the fresh spring rolls were superb.
I was a very happy camper. The food was excellent, service was excellent, everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to serve their customers. Portions were huge, price was fair for the size and quality, and they even make their own ice cream for dessert which was really good. This is the new go-to for Thai. I didn't take any pictures because I was hungry and the food smelled too good to waste time taking photos.
The food was good, had the Green Curry, Pumpkin Curry and Sweet and Sour Chicken. That said we all had food poisoning the next day. Hopefully they can resolve that issue, but we won't be going back.
The duck curry was fantastic, and the coconut ice cream was better than any I had in Hawaii. I went and had an amazing dinner; I’m looking forward to returning and try more items. The service staff was outstanding!
The worst place! DO NOT GO!
Rudest server I have ever seen! The lady who is standing in front and bring food is so rude! She was even mean to the poor drivers picking up food and screaming at them!
I had originally posted this review incorrectly to Thai Basil 2 years ago, and have since realized my dining experience was at Thai Delight. Please note that this dining experience occurred approximately 2 years ago.
The food was delicious, but an incident that occurred will not have us returning here again. We ordered wings and neglected to ask for the sauce on the side. When we asked the waiter to redo it, he told us it wasn't possible. When speaking to a manager, we were told that we would have to order and pay for a second order of wings. Mind you, our overall order was not a small one. I told the manager that I disagreed with his inflexible policy, and having worked in the restaurant industry know that extending such a courtesy was pretty standard. He refused, and we declined ordering a second plate of wings. The waiter eventually came back and told us he was taking the wings off the bill. Because the wings were such a hassle, we didn't even bother addressing the fact that they screwed up our fried rice order and forgot to bring a drink we had ordered. Just prior to delivering me my curry dish, my wife apparently saw the manager snickering while looking our way. I found my curry dish's heat extending beyond the level that I specified (level 4, which is normal Thai hot). It was waaaaay spicier than my wife's dish which was level 5 (extra Thai hot). The joke was on them, as I enjoy spicy dishes. However, it was obvious that my meal had been tampered with by a vindictive, immature manager who was unhappy he had to accommodate the customer. This establishment should consider itself lucky that I don't have a medical condition, or I would likely have a nice settlement on my hands. The food was otherwise delicious and the extra heat didn't hurt me any, but my fellow consumers should consider yourselves warned as to the mentality of the immature idiot running this place.
Great food, generous portions, and friendly service! Will definitely go back!
Awesome place, servings are huge and always fresh food. Favorite Thai in the valley not even close!
I tried the Red curry with Tofu and it was tasty. Quantity was huge but then they are slightly more expensive than other Thai places. Their curry price doesn’t include any protein (any meat or tofu or even vegetables, which is extra which was surprising). Service was quick. Would definitely try again when in the area.
Decent place, good family size quality for entrées.
Very poor Service. Ambience sucks though the food is ok. Not a place to go for any special occasion as you will be waiting forever and the waiter doesn’t know how to respect customers
Was hungry for pad Thai, so I thought I’d try this place. Big mistake. Portion was good, but lacking flavor. The noodles were overcooked, and did not look appealing at all. Lesson learned.
Our second time eating here; always with family. The dinner portion is just $1 more and absolutely huge! Spice levels are the real deal, so 3 is hot, but bearable - just the way I like it.
Consider Thai tea if you go for the spicier fare; helps cool the fire.
As a frequent Thai restaurant consumer, this is some of the best I have ever enjoyed. Prices look high but very big portions. So a decent value. Host is always on tables and polite. Would give 6 stars on food if I could.
My mom and I make excuses to run errands near here just so we can dine at Thai Delight. The food is super fresh and tasty, the dining area is spacious and clean, and the friendly staff treat us like family. Everything is delicious, but our favorites are the pumpkin curry and the green papaya salad.
This is my favorite place! Great dishes ,large servings! I highly recommend!
This place is a "Real Thai" food to me, not a fake thai food for westerner.
Drunken Noodle with Basil ✅
Pad Thai ✅
Crispy Egg Rolls ✅
Portions are large enough to share
Coconut ice cream is yummy
My family loved our first visit here and will be back!
The food wasn't overly wonderful but the service was decent. I wouldn't put it in my top 5 restaurants but it wasn't bad. The rice really needs to be upgraded it was not as good as other places.
Food was okay but customer service was bad. Lady brought out glass of ice water I tried to ask if I can have water with no ice she got it for me, but her facial expressions came thru as she did not wish to change out the water for me
Love the food here! Portions are generous, and every dish I’ve had is delicious. Can’t go wrong with the basil fried rice and any of the curries. They can make a lot of the dishes vegan too!
Awesome selection of dishes and the Thai hot was perfect! The jasmine tea is the best I’ve ever had!
One of the best Thai restaurant in town. Very delicious food and they have never disappointed all these years. Every time I go it’s the same delicious taste and rich food. My personal favorite is pineapple fried rice and masaman curry - must try!!
Great food! Large portions! Friendly service! Very clean restaurant! 🙂👍
Love this place. The food is delicious.
My friends and I are forever traumatized by the experience we had here with the manager. He was so unbelievably rude. Horrible customer service overall. We will never go back. BEWARE!
All the dishes were incredible, with lots of leftovers. The food was all customizable and the service was great.
We decided to stop by for lunch on a whim, never knew the place existed before driving by it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the good service and amazing food. The curry was out of this world and even the fried items tasted fresh. We will certainly be stopping by again and recommending to friends.
This was an unexpected gem of a find! The servings are hefty and are enough to be shared. The flavors are all there. I loved that you can control your spice level yourself with the smokey dried chili or the fish sauce infused with the heat from Thai chilis. And their homemade coconut ice cream is a perfect pallet cleanser to finish off any meal. Definitely one of our go-to places for Thai cuisine.
The staff is very friendly and courteous here. Food is excellent. Perfect blend of flavors and spice.
Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. They served me the wrong meal and then refused to fix it when i let them know. They also insisted that i pay for this meal even though it wasn't what i ordered and I was never given the meal i ordered. When I asked to speak with the manager about it he yelled at me in front of the entire restaurant loudly and forcefully enough that multiple customers from other tables actually got up from their meals to try to help protect me from him. It was insane.
Tasty Thai food! Portions are very generous. Quick service although a little understaffed.
One of best Thai place in town . Make sure to get duck curry
